Currently splitting time between Fallout 4 and Assassins Creed Syndicate. I'll hopefully finish one of them soon. Completed the main story on Fallout. Usually that's enough for me to consider it finished for me, but I'm keen to complete the faction side of the game too.

About half way through AC Syndicate too. Prob knock that out soon and list it in the new game completion topic for 2016 :yeah:

Currently playing some Team Fortress 2, one of my all time favorite games. A little Mario Kart 64, Tropico 3 and Civilization 5. I love strategy games so Tropico and Civ are perfect for me. Oh and I can't forget Roller coaster tycoon 2.

Fallout 4 of course! Also some Eyepet and Little Big Planet 2 with my daughter most days. Sometimes I get lucky, and she asks for Pokémon

I finished the third ending to Fallout 4. I've a few achievements still to get but I think I'll wait for the DLC before playing any further. 150 hours is enough for now!

I started playing Tomb Raider Definitive Edition yesterday and it seems like a really good game; so much happens in the first hour, I hope they can keep this pace up throughout.

Also playing Life Is Strange, but not very far in yet, still on the first chapter. :)

Fast Racing NEO. I've got one cup to go to finish Championship mode, but the last Hypersonic League cup is humiliating me

If you feel the need for speed . . . this is the one.

It is a Wii U exclusive from an excellent developer Shin'en. No better way to spend $15 on the eShop, IMHO.

Hmm, the F-Zero ish game aye?

Been playing Red Alert 3 on Xbox and also Project Spark.
Anyone else played that one?
Its not bad, also it was free. 😊
Lots of potential with creating your own games.
A lot of garbage games out there but also some real gems as well.

Back online on the PS4 - playing Black Ops III on the multiplayer. Had read mixed reviews. I like it. A lot of noobs online too so easy to get decent K/D ratios.

I'm chugging through Xenoblade X. I pre-ordered the 20th anniversary Poke 3DS, pretty excited to get my mobile on.

I'm starting to feel really lost in Xenoblade Chronicles X. I'm still just a few hours in and the game is handing stuff over to me that I'm like, "WHOA WHOA WHOA! I'm not ready for that!" Recruiting new people to my party? You guys are fine, let's just all stay together! Blade Rank? Division Rank? I'm fine where I'm at just now!

This game is putting a lot of misplaced faith in me and I get the feeling I'm humanity's best hope, so not good.

It's fun and looks amazing, just a bit overwhelmed at this point!

@Bamboozled: So many rollers to splat, so little time :D

Having beaten Hypersonic League in Fast Racing NEO (finally!), I've cycled back to the last stage in Super 3D Mario World. Got the 170 stars necessary to enter the Electric Castle/Tower (Toad was clutch!). Now to climb to the tippy top . . . .

Killer Instinct -Xbox1 - just got into it again. Playing shadow mode to keep my skills decent. I can still only use one character well, but I go all right.

Red Alert 3 - Xbox360 - Finished the Rising Sun Campaign, just the Alied one to go 🐱

Turok : Rage Wars - got the urge to play a Turok game on the weekend and this is the only one I haven't really had a go at.
Then I should finish the other half of Turok 3 and maybe start Evolution again after that.
Haha too ambitious, but might still try.

tomb raider - angel of darkness

I'm playing through this for the second time. I've finished the game back when it was first released.

while "everyone" hated this game, i always felt people "wanted" to hate it. i guess at the time, it was rather fashionable to hate on this "next gen" offering. the developers really were setting themselves up for criticism with their ambitious comments. the end result is nothing revolutionary.

but the story is the best one of the series, and so is the dark atmosphere. levels are more detailed than the later PS2 tomb raiders. really, check that detail in some of these levels. mind blowing.

this really feels like a tomb raider game. the tank controls, the difficult jumps... all add up to offer that brilliant but hard as nails gameplay. the legend series was too easy. you didnt need to jump carefull, it was almost impossible to miss a jump in the later games.

so the graphics are brilliant, the gameplay is challenging, and i'm loving every minute of it.

it's a pity the game has some bugs, but they never bothered me. and hey, do bugs bother people who play modern ubisoft games? that's what i meant 8)

I've just started a new game on Resident Evil on the PS1. Playing as Chris. Great game for it's age. Such nostalgia flooding back to me as I play it. Still gives me the creeps. Lots of random stuff made me jump that I had forgotten about e.g. Zombies coming out of wardrobes and the eerie music.

Jet Force Gemini 😎

(Re)Playing through on Xbox One, Rare Replay version.
Seems, every so slightly buggy, but not enough to not play it.
The full screen goodness is great.

So many things to love :
-The explosions and splatterings. You can blow off your enemies heads. And collect them! And get rewarded for iit! 😄
-The way it shows a small cut scene of life force doors opening, and then going back to normal play right as you have blasted a drone with a tri-rocket launcher.
-The Tri-Rocket launcher. One of the most enjoyable weapons ever created.
-flies gathering around the dead bodies. Love little touches of Rare Humour like that. And "You found flares! no, not the 70s fashion accessory..."
-The sneaky adult humour they got in there.
The best part is probably Fernando.
You meet him on Rith Essa and he says it gets lonely out there and that he is a "literary kind of guy".
What's happens when you find said item, I don't want to give away, very funny!

The game does through a ton at you. When in doubt use a search engine, especially for drop and enemy locations. Random advice: get Stagger->Topple combos going, always go for the Soul Voices, level up Mechanics all the way first (from the lady next to the quest board, every time your Blade rank levels up), explore to find the data probes, and obviously buy swimwear and cat ears for Elma and Lin. My party early on was Elma, Lin, and Doug (found at the button level of the admin district).

Looks like my friend and I aren't the only ones playing some Resident Evil goodness. We've been going through Resident Evil Zero for Nintendo GameCube (him)/Wii (me). After we finish that one (which, judging by what's happening in-game, might not be that far off), we'll be moving on to the Resident Evil REmake.

As for my solo gaming, I've taken a break from Xenoblade Chronicles X and decided to play through LBX: Little Battlers eXperience for Nintendo 3DS. I'm on episode 4 now (I guess the game wanted to honor it's anime roots) and am having quite the good time with it... even if the difficulty level is a wee bit lower than I would have liked. Then again, that's my fault for picking up a game based on a children's cartoon.

I bought Final Fantasy Tactics Advance in the eshop earlier. I'm going to play that all day and try to recover from a 90s bar crawl I went on last night.

I've just finished the Resident Evil PS1 version and tempted to either play through Zero or the Resident Evil remake for the GC. I've never played either of those through so very tempting. I'm inclined to go for Zero given I've just played Resident Evil through.

Since beating Fallout 4 and collecting and completing almost everything I wanted to in the game, I have since gotten kind of bored with it. Two nights ago I started on Star Wars: Battlefront. Been having a blast on it so far. It has some pretty fun multiplayer modes. Mostly been getting my butt handed to me thus far

To both of you above, a question: Just how much can one do in Battlefront that doesn't involve getting into the online multiplayer? I want to get that game at some point but I'm curious just how much you can play by yourself, if at all. I know there isn't a single player campaign but I feel like I've read there is a little bit of content that doesn't require getting into the online battles. Thanks.

@Sublime

At least I am still having fun even then though  Typically my KD ratios are in the 2-3 range on FPS games like Battlefield, it has been kind of a shock  As I unlock better weapons, I suspect I will get better. Right now I feel under powered ;)

@ Red

I can't say for certain, as I haven't spent a lot of time outside of the multiplayer. So far it seems most of the content has to do with multiplayer or co-op. I did some solo training, and their are some vs A.I. options, but I don't believe there is a solo campaign/conventional story in the game.

Stinger is spot on in relation to SW Battlefront. The single player element is training and multiplayer scenarios vs the AI, where you're basically playing to win gold/silver/bronze medals. It's fun but its all over pretty quickly and you jump from scenario to scenario without any gameplay story connection between them.

Despite saying I was finished with Fallout 4 I did go back to it to get the last few achievements. Now I really am done with it for now. I've enjoyed it a lot but I have so many other games I want to play this year so it's time to move on.

Since then, I've been playing Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and enjoying the pacing and stealth a lot. There are annoying moments, mainly the sudden death scripted events, some of which feel a bit old fashioned and not really necessary. But most of the game is pretty good! :)
