Has anyone played Blinx the timer sweeper on the originally xbox? Been playing for the past few weeks and its the most frustrating game. Really easy to a point and then it just becomes so hard forcing you to try levels over and over again. Maybe I just suck but I've got to the final boss which forces you to replay 4 of older bosses before a fight with the main boss which I just cant do. I have officially given up which is driving me crazy lol |

I finished The Last Guardian a couple days ago. Overall, it's a great game. If you liked SotC or Ico you'll love it. If you hated them, you'll hate it. Trico can be annoying at times but overall is one of the best-realized characters I've ever experienced in a game. I caught myself calling him buddy and congratulating him a lot (also calling him a  moron a lot too....why I don't have kids or pets). The camera can be bad at times (theres a series of jumps towards the end that are way harder than they should be due to the camera) but overall I like the cinematographic aspect of it - it kind of has a mind of it's own and will drift towards interesting landmarks and whatnot. I want to play through it again to try to get the under 5 hour trophy (I was probably around 12ish hours first playthrough?)But that will probably be on hold for a while because I started Witcher 3 complete the other day and man it has its hooks in me. |

I've been playing the original Watch Dogs for a few days and I have to admit I'm really enjoying the experience so far. It dragged on a bit at the start but it is picking up as I go. |

@TRS: Is that the one that is available on the Wii U? If it is and you enjoy it, maybe I'll pick it up someday.... I'm playing Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Wii U) and loving it. Some very challenging segments (climbing up a 12-story castle while being chased by a massive centipede-type creature!) brilliantly presented. Also started playing SWE1R again (while the kids Splatoon), but my skills have eroded (or I'm seriously underrating the need to memorize every line of a given course). Thought I had some good runs, but they weren't even close to my best times.

Loving Super Mario Galaxy 2 right now and for some reason I have an urge to play through Star Wars: Rouge Squadron qgain. For no apparent reason... I did never quite finish it backin the day, so it would be good to finally bowl that one over ☺ |

I have my Sega Megadrive set up since completing The Lion King at the weekend and I'm hoping to knock out a few more of the games on there over the coming weeks along with making a start on a 64 title to be decided, whilst continuing to play PES2017 online. Megadrive games to complete, which are on my immediate radar: -Home Alone -Rolling Thunder 2 -Streets of Rage II I have a few more I want to complete but they will have to wait a bit as I need to stick to my target of completing 64 games as well, as that list is far larger. Spent the weekend big time under the weather. Played a little bit of Hitman, beat The Last of Us remastered again, and played Assassin's Creed Unity for the first time. I must say as a major lover of Assassin's Creed games, I find Unity largely not enjoyable and not entertaining to play  Feels more like work than play. Trying to force my way through it to get to Syndicate, which I hear was a lot better.

In terms of Dark Souls, I am not good at all at it. I am not good at hard games at all. I kept getting to mad at myself to keep going. |

Yes it is and I really did enjoy it. It does have a few issues but they are mostly minor. If you can find it on the cheap then I'd say jump on it. Bear in mind that it earns it's Mature rating. I'm glad to hear you are liking the new Shantae game. I have my eyes on getting that on PS4 soon. |

Made a start on Sonic 3 on the Megadrive today. The great thing about this title, especially for the Megadrive, was the save feature. It was amazing to still see my save file on there from years and years ago. Hopefully be able to complete that soon. Only so much Sonic I can take these days so I have had a rest from it now. |

Well I stuck with Assassin's Creed Unity, and am finally enjoying it. Tough to make time for it though, as I have been binge watching Vikings

It didn't end up being too bad mate. I liked Unity even though many didn't. Not quite as good as the next installment in Syndicate but I thought it was a pretty good game overall. |

My girlfriend and I started playing Madworld on Wii for the first time in years. Forgot how annoying the controls are but with that said I can't help but have fun brutally murdering hordes of enemies XD |

Playing the first borderlands, its never interested me before for one reason or another but a couple of years ago I got a free copy. Finally got around to playing it and I'm loving it. |

Finished Sonic 3 today. Going to have a stab at Sonic 2 on the Megadrive tomorrow. That's been on the list for a while not completed that since I was a kid either. No save feature like Sonic 3 so will have to go old school and blast it in one sitting....

Killer Instinct. The new one for Xbox One. I was on it pretty much from launch and enjoyed the first 2 seasons but have had no motivation to play the newest edition. Finally decided to give it a crack and loving it. What they have done with the new single player mode is So much more entertaining. Finding it quite addictive! As for Mario Galaxy 2... I think I want to sit down and actually beat Sonic 3 now. It has always been my favorite sonic game but I lays just played the first few levels over and over. I sold all my genesis stuff but thankfully I still have The game cube Sonic Mega collection. Funny coincidence that I'm also playing Super Mario Bros 3 right now for the first time since I was in elementary school. Much harder than I remember. On World 8 and it's definitely the hardest 2d Mario out of the old ones, lost levels aside. Can't believe I ever beat this as a kid. I underestimate my past self

You should do it! It's quite rewarding beating Sonic 3. Unlocking Super is awesome and due to the save game feature you can come back to it any time. Should work the same on the mega collection I imagine.I played Sonic 2 today got real far but died before I could complete it. Quite frustrating. I've had enough Sonic for a bit so I'll have to go back to that at another time. I made a start on my first 64 game of the year, Mission Impossible. It really doesn't hold up that well, but I have so much nostalgic attachment to this game, I love it. I still have my original from Christmas 1998. Made some good progress on Possible mode. On the rare occasions back in the day when we had enough of Goldeneye, we would plug this in. Looking forward to the level where you're on the bungee in the terminal with all the lasers. Mission Impossible! Decent game. I was just reminded that I need to post in the under rated N64 musics topic about the CIA Rooftop music from this game. It came up on the CD in my car today, a random collection of cool music I put together in 2007. I could.never even get past the Warehouse level on Impossible. Not sure if it was really that hard or I just really suck... |
