Do you have a usual time of day when you do your gaming? Evenings? Late night? Anyone play in the morning before you go to school/work?

Or maybe some of you just game all day.

Any chance I get really, mostly late afternoon before my girlfriend gets in.

Though I don't have the extended gaming sessions I used to when I was a kid or in my teens. Probably just the distractions/stresses of life as a responsible adult. That, and the fact all my mates love the current generation consoles too much. Not quite so much fun on your own!

I do know that late nights were made for gaming though...

I game here and there all day, especially on my laptop, but I normally find myself sitting down for long gaming sessions late at night if I have the time.

When people aren't demanding something out of me, (school, work, community service, friends, parents) which is only like 5 hours a week on average, ha. Any gap of free time where I have at least a solid hour window, I'll take advantage of it with the pile of games that still need to be played.

The misses doesn't finish work until a few hours after me> So I hit that bad boy up straight after work for a couple of hours with a cold one to end the day. Nothing beats it.

I'm similar to most of you, I mainly get to play for a bit in the evenings. More if I stay up past when my significant other goes to bed. Hopefully once this semester ends I'll be able to get some more hours in, especialy on Saturday mornings.

Man, I miss being a teenager, seems like I could play all I wanted back then and still get good grades.

I've been thinking about maybe getting up earlier in the mornings so I can get a 1/2 hour or so in before heading off to work. I've noticed no one else plays in the mornings. Maybe too crazy of an idea?

The worst thing about playing in the mornings is knowing your limited before you leave for work. I think I'd rather spend that time sleeping.

I honestly don't play video games anymore. I really really want to, but I always feel guilty if I do because everything I want to play is always something my girlfriend and I are supposed to play together. We started playing through a ton of games that I refuse to touch unless we're together. Some of the more recent ones include Gears of War series, Metal Gear Solid series, Grand Theft Auto trilogy, Saints Row series, Tony Hawk 1-7, Halo 2 and 3, every N64 game, Skyrim (got it on day one and never played it because we were supposed to play it together from start to finish), Portal 1 and 2, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Silent Hill 2, True Crime 1 and 2, The Sims on Xbox, The Sims 3/The Sims 3 Pets on Xbox 360, Lego Star Wars, Animal Crossing series, Battlefront 1 and 2, Dead Rising series, Pikmin 1 and 2, many PSX games, and a bunch of other games I can't think of off the top of my head. These are all games we started (or planned to start, in the case of Skyrim) but never finished. I feel bad if I play any of them without her, so I have to wait until we're together. Unfortunately, I only get to see her a few times out of the year. 23 more days until we're together again, and she'll be here for a little over a month this time. When she's gone, I lose all interest. Gaming is something I now associate with her, and it feels like I'm cheating on her if I do it alone (or play the above games with anyone else). My life is messed up, isn't it?

Maybe you and your girlfriend should dial it back a little. I can totally understand having games that are meant to be played as a couple, but that list is just excessive.

Like seriously, EVERY N64 game? The whole library?

Obvious question (PG-13):

Warning: The following post is PG-13, but it's also so long that no kid has the attention span to read it all the way through, so I think we should be good. Even so, this post contains references to sexual behaviors and the use of drugs- even though it's a damn plant! Legalize it in SC!

Collector of everything.
My schedule is irregular and changes often, so I don't really have a set time when I play- just whenever I have time. Usually it's afternoons or nights on weekdays, though if I wake up and have nothing to do for a few hours sometimes I'll play in the mornings. On weekends I'm generally busy during the day so I can only play late at night.
Current N64 focus: NTSC-U carts. Current count: 108/296 (36.5%), 4 NTSC-J.

Other than when I'm working or when my daughter is here with me, I am able to game at just about any time of the day. Too bad I don't take advantage of that most of the time. :-/
