Watching Jurassic Park as a kid was probably one of the most enjoyable movies experiences of my life, and even though the series has gone drastically down hill in the sequels, the first two movies I love a lot, as well as the two books by Michael Crichton. TellTale games released a quicktime event adventure which I hear is pretty flat, however I love the premise of the series so much I was lured into this deluxe edition, no matter the quality of the game, this is a cool set. Comes shipped to your door in a box styled after an employee welcome package from the InGen corporation.

Also I have the dvd "deluxe edition" too which is high quality, widescreen versions of the first two with both soundtracks on disc and other various extras inside.

Endure and survive...
Nice set up! I was a massive fan back in the day. I used to watch the movie sometimes daily as a kid. I read the Lost World, and enjoyed it more than the movie of course.

Thanks for the compliments guys. And as for the 3D craze going on, I'll shamefully go out and pay for it..lol. I know they'll only have 4 or 5 moments in 3D, all dinosaurs popping out at you, and of course it will look cheesy as hell. ha. Regardless I'm a fan and I haven't lost hope in this series just yet... Star Wars and Indiana Jones have already been ruined, I can just pray that the 4th Jurassic Park maintains some shred of integrity. Gulp*

That game set looks awesome! I bought the blu-ray release of the trilogy when it came out earlier this year and thought the movies looked fantastic in HD. I might look into this game release.

CHEESY 90'S VIRTUAL HIGH FIVE! ha. It doesn't come with a lanyard however you do get a staff ID badge that's modeled after what the employees wore in the first movie. The developers of this game were all hardcore fans although unfortunately it shows they're inexperienced college graduates. Their hearts are in the right place and even though the game may not be too exciting, this collector's set is definitely a nice touch for fans. The shipping box is my fav part I love how it's an employee welcome package for their corporation. Gamester did an excellent review of it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Y25x-bOIuw

I'm excited for the fourth film but I'm not holding my breath, most likely will be many delays as before. Personally I was kind of sad they scrapped the whole "human blending with Dino DNA" thing.. The dinosaurs are going to be CGI and unrealistically overly intelligent anyway you spin it, so why not go all out with it and make them human mutant dinosaurs lol. Also about a year ago I bought this leather-bound book from Barnes & Noble which has both Jurassic Park and The Lost World. It's super f%&kin' high quality and only around $20 I fully recommend this special edition of the book. My local B&N still has a bunch of copies on one of their discount tables check yours if your in the neighborhood.
