Whenever the Gameboy Advance was popular, I always stuck with my SP. Portable, backlit screen. Best of all, it still supports Gameboy and Gameboy Color games, which the Micro did not. Nowadays you can easily emulate Gameboy Advance games on your phone, however.

I have the Famicom 25th Mario GB Micro. I bought it for £60 on eBay in 2009. The box has some but are Princess is another castle art behind the console. I still have the console and a squashed box., accident involving a drunk person falling over in my bedroom closet and falling asleep there. It is a great GameBoy and if offered to play all games and not just Advance games would have been the best model. The screen is sharp, bright and the battery life is great. I like the start & select buttons the fact you can change the brightness buy using the volume control. It feels like an adult product and not made for kids too. The only other negative is the charger, why did Nintendo make another sized connector making having to always use the one charger instead of GB SP.

Would you mind linking me this? I can't seem to find it and I would love to see what it looks like.

why did Nintendo make another sized connector

the answer is both simple and obvious: size matters.
The Micro is jam-packed, really filled to the brim with electronics and a battery.
the old connector would have taken up too much space

I remember when these were being sold by stores at like 50$ just so they'd gtfo

I personally find them quite nice, though to some extent they're really just a cute gimmick.

The thing about the micro being nice and pocket sized for carrying on the go, is that the Gameboy SP is already nice and pocket sized for carrying on the go. haha. I like the bigger screen on the SP, but I think I may get a micro anyway I really like some of the different editions.

I still think they are the best portable system, and I am not looking for an argument. Just my opinion, I love the size, I love the face plate changes, I love the whole idea and design, and I am very dissapointed they didn't go farther, Im proud to own two of them :)

Damn right, Waddle! I'd like to get one sometime down the road as well. It's the kind of thing you can always keep in a backpack pocket for entertainment :-)
