Could anyone help me with something I'm just plain curious about...

In the UK PAL release instruction manual Olimar's height is given as being around that of a 50 pence piece (though half of this appears to be helmet and antenna!).

So, what coin or item is he compared to in other regions?

Im not sure about the actual size, but in Pikmin 2, Olimar is smaller than bottle caps and batteries by a lot!

I really like both Pikmin 1 and 2, and I plan on getting Pikmin 3 for the Wii U on launch!

in the Dutch manual for Pikmin NPC for Wii, Olimar is described as being smaller than your pinkie.
It also shows him pictured next to a ruler and there he says he's almost 4 cm.
The Pikmin themselves are approx. 3 cm

Thanks guys,

I was wondering what different regions used for size comparisons. Clearly 'AA' batteries are universal, as are pinkies (though size is relative!)... a 50 pence piece not so much.
