I recently bought this red dead redemption display box for like 20$ on ebay because i liked it obviously. but i was wondering if it has anymore value than what i bought it for. ( i'm curious ) I haven't seen this anywhere else at all. meaning its rare? i think? i just want some information if anybody has some on this. Thanks. If you can find this somewhere else up for sale please give me a link! Edited by Black Toast, Mar 5 2013, 03:14 PM.

I used to have a bunch of these display boxes, I would get them for free from Gamestop all the time. I threw them out actually, they take up too much space. lol. I would usually get them form the gamestop dumpsters, but sometimes I'd just go in and ask if they had any in the back. They will sometimes just give them to you, also posters. I kept the 2 skyward sword boxes though

Welcome to the form!
Thanks for answer! One more question! if i save this will there be any chance of it having value? I've seen n64 stuff like this raising up ( i still personally think its rare from not being able to find it anywhere ) Edited by Black Toast, Mar 5 2013, 04:37 PM.

if you keep it and turns out 10 years down the road a serious RDR/ Rockstar collector really wants it he might pay a premium for it. I gotta say these display boxes are typically not worth all that much, they are great gameroom deco for cheap though!

Agreed. I love that game so having something like that would be pretty awesome to decorate a gaming room with. I work at Walmart and have gotten some pretty cool advertising materials for games over the years, and it was all free.

Some good advice all round. You never know what these items will fetch in the future, so it never hurts to hold onto them for safe keeping. |
