I don't see the immediate logic there I think its really stupid that people are doing that, Im not interested in using it my self (i do drink sometimes tho) But i would never complain about somebody using it or trying to stop them from using it, its there choice and it doesn't bother me at all. as for people who 'outright hate you because you smoke it' i cant stand really judgmental people like that, and if there going to be like that they probably aren't worth hanging around with.

My teachers preach and preach about how bad it is and it seems that they never have any facts to back it up, yesterday I printed out page after page of proof, actual proof of the benefits of marijuana. She read it, called it lies and threw it out. I asked to see her provide proof for what she was teaching us and she sent me out of the room. Rather than teachers teaching the truth and what Marijuana actually is, they brainwash us because they are too dumb to understand it, or let alone try to.

Rather than teachers teaching the truth and what Marijuana actually is, they brainwash us because they are too dumb to understand it, or let alone try to. sorry but she did good. legalized or not, it's still a drug. good or not, it's still illegal. you dont discuss illegal stuff with minors from an adult and authority view. if you tell them it does no harm, what the heck do you think they're gonna do ? they're gonna buy something ILLEGAL. now, if one of those kids tell their parents a teacher told them it does no harm, what the heck do you think his/her parents will do ? call the school and probably fire the teacher. sometimes, you gotta think and see both sides of the situation.

Your mom is a nice lady Posts: 1,957 Group: Senior Members Member #1,189 Joined: January 7, 2013	Cabanon does have a point that I agree with there, as responsible adults, everything we say and do is interpreted in examplary ways by children, and even younger more impressionable teenagers. Heck, if ( or when ) I get a kid, he or she will get the same treatment I did regarding drugs as a kid. My parents are straight edge clean, and have always taught me against it. In the end, I made my own decision when I was about 16 but my parents do not feel guilty about it. They accepted the fact by now as they saw first hand that even after 6 years of use I didn't go all messed up and weird as they obviously expected. By respect to them and anybody who does not partake, I dont smoke near them and do not ever bring up the subject. I used to partake in public areas when I was a teenager, but now I'm much more reserved about the subject because it is basically public indecency towards those who want nothing to do with it. Young men would come in with all sorts of addictions. You want to know what the hardest one was to treat, that's right marijuana addiction. Not only is it the worst drug for people suffering from mental illness, it also contributes to more mental illness than any other drug on the market. If someone new would enter the rehab, you would pray that they were heroin addicts because they were easier to help and deal with.

It can create a strong mental dependance in certain people. I have Tourrettes and ADHD but I can honestly say I don't NEED my weed. You truly need a powerful amount of self-restraint. I can go without it if I feel like ( and I do take breaks when i want or when i dont want to spend the money ). Sure, I enjoy it so I do smoke a fair amount, but I've never felt anxious or wrenchingly desperate for weed. Cigarettes... That was another story altogether. 4 months clean now and still sometimes I have this deep urge to go for it, but I ignore it. The chemicals in cigarettes create a disgusting, truly physical dependance. It's something you can FEEL in you and it's horrible. I can't say the same for whenever my dealer runs dry for whatever amount of time ps: Do they choose to go or are forced to? If they choose to, Ok. If they're forced to go though, maybe the reason they're "so hard to deal with" is because they like it and don't want to stop it. I know if I was send to rehab, I'd just go like "ok fine" and not smoke during my stay and just pretend im "becoming free of my demons!", and then I'd just go smoke one when they let me out just because I CAN, not because I MUST. MJane really isn't that bad for you. Actually there are more issues with Alcohol, but that's legal Both Alcohol and Marijuana aren't necessarily bad for you in portions. Either of them can mess you up pretty good if used in excess. MJane really shouldn't be illegal if Alcohol isn't. IMO

They needed to give it up as it was ruining there life and they couldn't function without it. The drug had deteriated there mental health to a point where everything was a mission and just doing life became very very hard. People, I can't stress enough how careful you need to be with it. Ive read everyone's stories and arguments here. Like anything, if you don't keep it in check it can rule and ruin your life.

Dee Honestly how many MJ patients did you get compared to all the other substances? I think the ratio of people who become mentally addicted is much smaller and alcoholism is much more of a prevalent problem. Im more worried about a lower sperm count than becoming addicted.

I have a ood understanding of myself by now and I would notice any developping problem. So far after 6 or 7 years of fairly frequent use, my IQ is sill safe at 119 and I still am able to learn new things everyday and I am about to start programming school. I feel safe that my smoking won't affect my learning capabilities in the least. I am a firm believer that a powerful mind is stronger than matter. I do hope I am not offending anyone. There were far more MJ users going to rehab than there were for any other drugs including alcohol and it wasn't even close. @Yougurt, Nobody's right here and nobody's wrong. It all comes down to a matter of opinion. I myself don't see a huge issue with it if it's done in moderation and fully agree it would be fantastic if countries would start looking into it for treating pain and anxiety more and more. The only issue I state is being careful with use. It's obvious that overuse of anything is bad and should be avoided at all costs.

Do it only under the right circumstances. I'll only do it with friends and in an environment I am comfortable in. Listening to music is amazing, especially vinyl. My friend describes it as listening to a song in 3D. Movies are cool and most games are harder. It has to be a game that requires little focus. I like driving around in a sandbox game or playing Tetris. Minecraft was really cool, especially multiplayer. I can't stand single player, and doing it high is not much fun for me since I like to socialize, so I'll jump in a party chat or something if I have to. Most of the time I will do it with people though. I went to Carolina Rebellion and smoked while the Deftones played and saw Limp Bizkit and Alice in Chains stoned. It was GDMFing amazing!!! I was going to light up when Bush came on but they got flooded out from the storm :/
