However all the dialogue is English so I'm hoping I can make it through the campaign without getting stumped on some language barrier.

Again, great pickup - where was it? I'm assuming EBay? Do you have the item number so I can take a look at who the seller was?

You absolutely can. The only head scratcher is the opening menu; check gamefaq for a translation guide. I got the Starcraft 64 guide book for �17 including overseas postage, and I also just won Zelda Ocarina of Time - Gold Cart Collector's Edition CIB for only �41! Bargains for everyone!

I immediately bought the DSi XL and never used my DSi's again. Such a huge advantage, just cant be ignored. Therefore: a must buy. Almost back on topic: I've preordered New Super Mario Bros. 2 today. You're right, I've NEVER seen a full boxed ASCII pad on EBay in the past. All of mine come from Yahoo Japan Auctions. And yes, most of the ones I have in box do have the little cap that goes on top of the joystick for extra "grip" or something My other boxed ones are: clear blue (top and bottom), silver, clear white (top and bottom), and solid white. I'm looking at the box of the one you bought and the back of it looks different - maybe you and I can work out a trade once it arrives. I'll send you a separate PM.

These arrived recently, I have more on the way to me, several watched auctions on eBay and even a couple guides I'm going to buy from Mk II. I really love that Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition guide. It's hardcover, like a big school textbook, and covers the original game and the Undead Nightmare expansion.

But it turns out all my other boxed ASCII controllers also uses the same graphic on the back of the box... so nevermind my comment about trading
