I haven't posted in a while but I did sell 3 of my extra blister N64 controllers on EBay recently to one of our fellow members (ItsOnlyAFleshWound). Mick managed to nab all 3 of the controllers and paid very promptly, and I made sure to carefully package it all up to ship over the Pacific Ocean to him in Australia!

But really the reason I'm posting is because I'm hoping the next 1-2 weeks will fly by, as I await some GREAT rare items to get here. I won't spill the beans yet but unfortunately none of them will help complete my personal collection (so through logic of deduction, it's not a Hello Mac or one of the last ASCII controllers I'm missing). But, these will be some super sought after items for sure, and some of the other items will be incredible display pieces of which no one has ever seen before.

:omg: I CAN'T WAIT!!! :omg: Someone give me a time machine please! :mario:
I'm looking forward to seeing what you have on route ddr2nite. I'm sure whatever they are, there be very RARE and minty fresh :D

My recent stuff:

Big thanks to Bluedogrulez for the Lodgenet GameCube controller :yeah: The other two games are just upgrades to what I already have. Not in the best shape but in much better condition to what I already had.

I already had the cart and instructions, so to upgrade to the box it has cost me just over £100. A small price to get it CIB.

Sorry, I was doing the conversion in my head, it's actually nearer £115.

Still a good price! I don't know what's next. I've spent a lot of money, so I think I might have a bit of a sale. I'm considering selling lots of carts just to earn some cash, and then I can enjoy collecting them all back again later on. :mario:

How on Earth did you manage to find a box only copy? Now you've got to make a photo / video of your whole collection, to show it off properly :w00t:

I was lucky enough to find a guy in Holland who had one without instructions, so between us we had it CIB.

I'm most likely going to do a big photo of the lot all together. But this is not the end of my Starcraft quest! The end is all but nigh!

Bought The Legend of Zelda - Spirit Tracks (DS) and New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS).
I received the "golden" coin as a pre-order bonus but it comes in a pretty satchel and now i'm not sure if i should open it or not.
I reckon an unopened satchel will become very collectable in a decade or two... your thoughts?

It is quite pretty IMHO...

Congratulations, Brodieman! I really hope you dont start buying up everything from Europe as well :)
Just have one nit to pick: this really belongs in the N64 Collection thread.

Everyone else: please please dont quote images in your replies... it slows down pageloads and increases traffic.

Mark, I fully agree with you on keeping that coin sealed. I dont think there'll be too many sealed in 10 years time, and def very few in 20.

Yeah, im leaning that way at the moment. But it is very tempting to open it up!
The "coin" is actually a game case BTW, it holds one 3DS game.

i really hope i can somehow get another one from my contacts at the local gameshop.
That would mean i could have my cake and eat it too!

BTW: the game is effin brilliant... i cant help but smile whilst playing it.
Very reminiscent of all the previous Mario platformers but who really cares?
Beautiful graphics, smooth control, well-designed levels with just the right learning curve and that oh-so-important "just one more go and i'll make it" feeling.
