All this cost me $62 and change, which ironically is how much it cost me to fill up the truck in gas this morning on my way over to the Cavern. Gas is $2.92 right now. It must be my birthday.

You are all over the GameCube search. What's your goal? Full set?

I went with about 35-40 titles... and called it quits.
I currently own humble, but nice collections of NTSC-U; NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii

Currently taking a break from a 2012 collecting binge.

Yup. Going for a full set. Right now I have 117/553 (21.16%). 100 of them have manuals, 17 do not. I made this pimpin' spreadsheet that automatically calculates percentages, totals, and how many have or are missing manuals. I made it for GameCube and PSX. Not much of a need to do it for N64 since my goal was only to have all the carts. For GameCube, I'm not going for variants- just the game, case, and manual. Special editions and greatest hits are not mandatory for this one.

I never owned the GameCube as a child, so I was happy settling for the Mario games and some other must-haves. It doesn't get played very much, but when I do it's a nice experience. All the Mario titles on the GameCube are great looking games.

ITS AWESOME! Actually beat the Attitude Era mode yesterday. Great for a storyline. The gameplay and the servers (If you played WWE 12 and remembered how suckish they were) are better. All around its a great game.

Just picked up 74 Xbox games. Worked out to be about $2.90 per game. A lot of fillers there for my collection and some doubles to move onto other collectors.

Nice dee, got the craigslist stuff all tested and everything works so i'll show what I got. First up an N64 w/ 2 controllers expansion pack Pokemon Stadium 2, Kirby 64, Super Mario 64. The 2 controllers are crap as the green one had no start button but a good joystick (put in my extreme green loose with a crap joystick) and the gray has a stuck down a button so its crap. Anybody know what I could do with these? Also got a SNES which is destroyed but it should sell fine on eBay with 2 controllers and some awesome games 3 I didn't have, Super Metroid, Kirby Superstar, and TLOZ:Lttp. Also came with DKC, SMW, NBA Jam. And finally a Genesis with some common games you can see and two controllers. Keeping the 3 SNES games and the Genesis with the games since my model 1 is broken. Paid $120 for everything which I thought was a good deal. I only really wanted the SNES but he gave me the other two for $40 and $30 so I said whatever. Heres some pictures. Not for resale Sonic. I wonder if these garner the same attention and price rises that the N64 NFR carts do.

the sonic ones were pack ins, not demo carts, they are just as common as the regular ones for Sonic.

...

Complete copies for $700 now?!??

Based solely off my purchase wayyyy back in 2005, that puts it at (at least) about $80 appreciation per year...
Those EB fan(atic)s have certainly been successful in keeping the hype (and/or demand) alive!!

(...or at least hoarding the goods to rarity...)

BTW, nice pick-ups, Sic!
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

bought a guitar hero 1 guitar (the black one), a guitar hero world tour guitar for ps2 and guitar hero smash hits for ps2 for 10$ today. both guitar are in new condition (except stickers). strum bar, buttons & whammy are likes new. i'll keep the guitar hero 1 guitar and sell the game & guitar as a combo.

also picked up a lot last week for 125$ delivered, got it for cheap as it included a snes console with 1 controller & hookups, 1 cart only game (super mario world), 3 CB games (War 2041, Hit The Ice, Suzuka 8 Hours) and 2 CIB games (Extra Innings, NBA Live 97). the lot also included 28 CB & 1 loose (DK64) N64 games. all were ex-rental and the boxes are not in so good condition BUT about every reg card, player's guide offer & precaution panflet were in there. most of the games im keeping whether the box only or the games or the misc stuff to go along in my collection. will sell the rest individually or in one lot.

I also went to Goodwill last night and the woman behind the counter has got to be the most brain dead person I've ever dealt with. She had two games under the cabinet with two different color stickers on them, indicating different prices. So I ask her about them: one being Outlaw Golf for the Xbox, and the other was Gran Turismo 3 for the PS2. So I ask her how much they go for, and she goes, "ehhh.... three dollars each." Now keep in mind that they have different color stickers. But I don't care, because one of them meant $5. So I start to pull out six dollars from my wallet and she opens the cases and starts pawing at GT3. She says, "oh eh, this one's not a CD. This one's a book. See?" And she started scraping the instruction booklet around. Thing is that there was no CD in the case- just the manual. So I tell her, "oh, well that won't do many any good without the disc." So she goes, "oh so it is a CD?" Then she pulls it back and tosses it in the garbage bin under the cabinet. So I said to her, "You know, if you're just gonna be throwing it away, is it alright if I just have it then?" Then she goes, "Oh I'm not allowed to do that. I'd have to ask the manager." So I said, "Well what if I just give you a buck for it? I could always just use the case and get the disc separate." Then she goes, "Sir, would you like me to call the manager?" So me thinking she meant to call him over to ask him if it's alright, I say, "yeah sure, that'd be fine." She just looks at me and goes, "ehhh, I don't want to have to do that to you." So then I realized that this b**** is beyond retarded, so I just said, "Actually I changed my mind. I don't need this game. I just wanted the two, and I was willing to pay for both but you just threw one of them away." Luckily I was able to pick up both games the next day at the flea market.
