I traded in about 6 others, and gave a duplicate copy of Mario Kart away in our give away to Stik Ross as well as a duplicate New Super Mario Brothers to my brother-in-law. Not bad for only buying 2 and being given another. The rest were all found or gotten from other ds trade ins.

I went to The Video Game Cavern last Thursday and spent $296 there. Then this past Saturday I went to the Jockey Lot and spent $120 there. Later that same day I went back to The Cavern and spent another $102 there. It's awesome because no matter where I go, I'm a regular. The guys at both flea markets recognize me as "the guy with the list" because I used to carry a list with me with the remaining N64 games along with general prices and color coded them by rarity. They'd email me when they found something on my list. It was awesome, so I get the hookup from them now. Like I'll write a list of games I want and if they find it they reserve it for me. As for The Cavern, there's some chick who runs the place and this dude who looks like Krillin that just works there. Both of them have this thing where they have a list of their best customers, probably as a way to get people to want to spend more money to top the chart, as well as get the guy in first to keep spending money to stay on top. Well anywho, I've been their best customer for the longest time, and this past week definitely nailed that. Krillin came out around the counter and shook my hand saying he wished his girlfriend let him do the s* mine lets me do. Unfortunately I had to tell him the sad news. That's because She and I used to go in there all the time with the N64 game list. We even got our last N64 game there, Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers, back on July 29th of this year. Anywho, check my latest splurge: The Cavern: Thur 12/13 - $296 Jockey Lot: Sat 12/15 - $120 The Cavern: Sat 12/15 - $102 eBay splurging: Just before the breakup (games I bought to co-op with The Female) - ~$125 My new side hobby: collecting vinyl: Just picked up The Devil's Rain by The Misfits on vinyl. I gave the CD version to The Female for Christmas last year, so this Christmas I bought myself the record version. I'm not going to say how much I paid for it in case I feel like doing another give away Wow, that's awesome. I especially love how you've started collecting vinyl. Before I started collecting video games I collected vinyl and rare CDs (singles, EPs, promos, demos, etc) from my favorite bands, The Misfits being one of them (though only with Danzig as the singer)... To this day I'm keeping my eye out for a near mint vinyl copy of Beware, though it's been a while since I've checked... And if anyone's interested in the Atari 2600, I've got a few nice lots on the way... Spoiler: click to toggle A sears video arcade 4 switch console plus some games... A whole bunch of Atari text label games (only 3 of which I already had) An Atari 6 switch woodgrain and an Atari Jr. plus some games and a lot of 1st and 3rd party controllers: And the first homebrew to add to my collection... The controllers are like mint button wise and joystick. They were extremely dirty so I opened them up and cleaned them. They were disgusting. Probably sitting in storage since the original owner was a minor. The person I traded with decided to throw in a official expansion pak for free. I needed it as I only have a jumper pak and already own DK64. At the same time I got this I managed to fix my original grey controller. Which the only reason I got this was because I had no working controllers. I'm not a collector. I guess it's finally time to get a copy of Zelda Majora's mask. I can't believe I've never played these games before because they're really fun. Make's me think that the Playstation might not be entirely evil ;P Although I think I'll stick to PC since I can play them all here too.

Weigh My Fish Posts: 430 Group: Moderators Member #633 Joined: October 10, 2011	It's been a couple of months since I bought some N64 games towards my full PAL collection so I treated myself over Christmas and bought a big bundle of games. Among which was this... the very rare San Francisco Rush 2049. As you can see it's not in the best of conditions but it worked out to only be �8.58 so I'm over the moon with that. In case you don't know it's one of the most expensive CIB PAL games, one auction just finished today on eBay UK for �59.00 (8/10 condition) and I've seen them go for over �100.00 in near mint condition. I know thats a lot but PS3s arent reigon locked and its only $20 more and we're probably gonna have to wait 4+ months til we see a USA release. Also just got done with a couple purchases and trade. Ended up trading Banjo Tooie CBFD, Doom 64, Tony Hawk 3, and DKC for a CIB mint (until it got beat up on the car ride home -,-) link to the past with the map and everything. Also got wario land on the virtual boy from him and some ps2 games. Then went to play n trade and used my credit to get a phantom hourglass premium guide with the game for like $25 which isnt bad. Finally went to this thrift type store that was moving and had their wii games marked down to $2.50 each only good ones were 2 copies of wii sports so meh. not a bad day Edited by hockeylife21, Jan 6 2013, 09:37 PM.
