It's actually a game case with cover. The cart was $2.80 + $6 shipping, and the case was about $1.50. So in total I paid $10.30 for Smash Bros. + case. Pretty good deal if you ask me :D

Very good deal indeed! I paid about $20 for mine and I don't regret a cent of it.

On about a fifth of one post, you spent my entire collecting budget for a year. lol yeah ok I'm jealous. I believe if you sell your collection in 25 years you'll be able to buy a Lambo.

Yes Craigslist. I hadnt been able to find anyting good so I posted an ad in the "wanted" section and within an hour 3 people called me. Definitely works better than waiting for something to pop up.

Craigs list is rubbish here in the UK, always look but there is never anything worth getting. The drive for the items that do seem a good price is too far usually to make it worth the while. Fuel costs lol

Todays game

Great condition and it arrive next day. I have been after this game for ages but it isnt rare and is always over priced. Paid £26 which I think is too much but the condition is so good i thought why not.

Yea theres this guy that buys up all the games and does this retro game sale where he prices everything at ebay prices and rips people off for their games at like 25 cents a piece no matter what game. So lame but people are posting ads on craigslist saying dont go to his sale/dont sell to him so thats good.

Just bought something off ebay and found out when it arrived that it is not in "very good" condition as the seller listed.
Quite disappointed.

Quoting from ebays "very good" condition definition
"Very good: An item that is used but still in very good condition. No damage to the jewellery case or item cover, no scuffs, scratches, cracks, or holes. The cover art and liner notes are included. The VHS or DVD box is included. The video game instructions and box are included. The teeth of disk holder are undamaged. Minimal wear on the exterior of item. No skipping on CD/DVD. No fuzzy/snowy frames on VHS tape. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections"

What do you guys think about paypal siding in my favor? I spent the going price for this which is a decent chunck of money. (Seller declines it having any damage)

Inserts were also missing which was quite annoying making the purchase not worth it at all.

Im in the same position with this game that just arrived, paid small amount so i'm not too bothered.

open a ebay case up against him and same it wasnt sold as listed, most of the time you will win and he will have to refund you.

I'm in a similar dilemma. I bought a PS2 lot on eBay for 13 games and a code book. Listing under Good, the pics looked fine and nothing was mentioned of any sort of water damage. But every single game appears to have been submerged in water at some point. All of the cover art pieces and manuals are damaged, some even crackle when I try to open them. I think the games themselves should be fine but it irks me to no end that it is all mostly damaged. My dilemma is what exactly I should do about it as the entire lot only cost me $7.99. I don't want to return them and get a refund but should I leave negative feedback? A few of the games were dupes so I'm just going to toss the papers and re-use the cases. The ones that I didn't have I'll just replace the books and inserts. It'll cost me a little more than expected but it'll be worth it. So should I ding the seller with negative feedback or just let it go?

Leave negative feedback defiantly, they shouldn't get away with it.

US. Michigan, more specifically. The seller's description: CLEANING THE KIDS CLOSET - MOVING IT OUT - 13 PLAY STATION 2 VIDEO GAMES IN THE BOX. AND ONE 2004 CODE BOOK. TITLES ARE MIDNIGHT CLUB II - L.A. RUSH - SPY HUNTER - UNDERGROUND - STARSKY & HUTCH - DESTRUCTION DERBY ARENAS = CORVETTE - HIT MAN 2 SILENT ASSASSIN - HEROES OF THE PACIFIC - CRAZY TAXI - HIT AND RUN - SPONGE BOB SQUARE PANTS - NEED FOR SPEED CARBON. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT PLAY STATION. THANKS

Wouldn't be the first time I bought something that arrived in less than described condition but the last time the guy (not the same seller) pointed out how little I paid for the item and how he was selling it for someone else and didn't pay close attention to a game disc having a crack and being not playable. This one comes off as a mom selling her kid's games, but anyone could come up with a story to explain selling off their crap. I dunno, disappointing in a way. I knew it was too good to be true, 13 games for $8, even if it was mostly crap.

I complained to the seller and asked for a partial refund due to the item not being in the condition listed and he agreed and offered me a good amount so worked out well for me in the end. Maybe one day I will be able to replace the box if one ever shows up.
