She sounds like a keeper for sure. Might be time to put a ring on it lol   Just won an Auction for Doom 64. Gunna keep going with my  games collection, but sell off some of the other stuff. That should bring me to 91 now. Still got a few to go, but I'm in no rush. |

No tetris 64 yet  I've seen plenty of CIB copies for rather cheap, but I only want a cart (I want my n64 collection to be uniform with UGC's) and all cart-only so far have been expensive 30$ BIN's Just waiting for the right opportunity to snag a cheap Tetris cart

Downloaded Miasmata from Steam yesterday. Interesting game that is hard to describe. It's first person and reminds me a little of Far Cry 3 in that manner. You are all alone on an island and you have the plague. You have to craft your own cure from plants and ingredients you find on your own. And, apparently, there is a creature on the island that pursues you at times, but in the 30 minutes or so I spent with the game I didn't see it. $15 on Steam. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miasmata EDIT: Just downloaded System Shock 2 from gog.com, as was mentioned in Kerr Avon's topic about it's release today. Looking forward to this one as I know it is considered to be one of the best games of all-time and was very influential in future game design after it was released in 1999. Should be fun.

Recent arrivals: I think I got a great deal on this exemplary copy of ICO at only $15.55  And I paid a good friend of mine $25 for this set of 5 games, all of which are complete and in pristine condition  And some other random acquisitions

mmm... they don't save your progress? Then chances are you bought fakes; Pokemon games are the most pirated games out there Pokemon Ruby... reasonaly well-made but still obviously a fake. Tell-tale signs: label is not properly centered, colours look washed out, Seal Of Quality is badly smudged, moulded GBA logo isn't the right shape.   Edited by Mk II, Feb 15 2013, 04:10 PM.

time based events wont work, like growing berries. Progress can still be saved. but always be careful with pokemon games. I never buy from anywhere but the USA |

Yep this is true, and I actually bought it from a friend who bought it from gamestop, he doesn't use ebay or anything so I know its real, also, I just started a new account on emerald, love it. |

The GBA pokemon games only use the battery for time based events iirc, saves are stored on flash memory. At for for emerald they are, I assume r/s is the same |

for the GBA ones, yes. for the GBC and GB ones, they save with batteries. Pokemon Blue, Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver, And Crystal all store saved progress on batteries, which can be replaced. Pokemon Sapphire, and Emerald all store saved progress on flash memory, but time based events in game are stores on batteries, which can be replaced as well. Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen don't have any save problems, and they also dont have batteries inside them. Blue, Red, Gold, Silver, and Crystal all use CR-2025 Batteries, while Yellow uses CR-1616 Im not positive on what the GBA ones use because I never bother to replace them. I decide the Virtual Boy wasn't enough for today so I made some other purchases: Retron 3 (Plays NES, SNES, and Genesis) Purchased controllers for each system as well since you can use the stock controllers. NES: Super Mario Bros 3 Mario/Duck Hunt Combo Pinball Play Action Football Rad Racer Top Gun Castlevania II Simon's Quest SNES: Monopoly FIFA International Soccer Super Black Bass Krusty's Super Fun House Earthworm Jim 2 Super Mario World Genesis: Hard Drivin' Sonic 2 College Football Lion King Sonic Spinball Zoop Troy Aikman Football Sub Terrania Football '94 NFL Football '93 ToeJam & Earl Kid Chameleon Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf JURASSIC PARK T2 The Arcade Game Virtual Boy: Mario Tennis Finally enough dust covers for all the games. well, i think i made my first dumb purchase but oh well, it was cheap enough and upon close inspection, in very good condition. just couldnt pass this deal. complete ps1 console with papers, foam, controller, memory card, power cord & av cord (they do not seems OEM but at least they're there). also in the deal, the 3 Tomb Raider games released for ps1. 1 & 2 are the Greatest Hits and the 3 is the 1st print. all in mint condition. the manual were never touched. the disc holder is still firm and the discs are hard to remove. In fact, the guy bought the ps1 brand new when it was released and played at top 50 times with it. same with the games. he had a couple more games but i wasnt really interested nor wanting to drop cash on a console I always hated. for 30$ for all of it. Spoiler: click to toggle also bought this for 20$, no cord, no av cable but i had spare here and the bd drive is not working. i dont care much as this will go into kid's room and will be linked to play movies from my PC. it is filthy as crap so it'll need a very good inside/out cleanup first ! Just won a copy of Killer Instinct Gold on eBay for $5.50. Gotta be happy with that. Oops, I forgot - edit. I also bought Assassins creed, Assassins creed 2 and Darksiders for the Xbox 360 today. Haven't played the assassins series yet and have wanted toon for some time. Also currently downloading The Witcher for PC off of gog.com. Half price RPGs weekend!!!
