Just won a copy of Killer Instinct Gold on eBay for $5.50. Gotta be happy with that.
Very happy indeed! Is this your first time owning the game?

Killer Instinct Gold, as I stated in my YT video, is a brilliant 2-player fighting game that never got the respect it so richly deserves.
No I never owned it. This will be the first time. I knew that you liked this game and from you talking about it I thought it would be a game that I liked. Considering our mutual likeness of Mace The Dark Age. :yeah:

I like the shoes

EDIT:

To mod it

Get a USB extender and a xbox controller

Cut the wires of the controller and extender, then solder (they should match colour to colour)

Get a exploitable game and load up the save (not mentioning how to do this since not sure on the legality)
Here is what you want to aim for

So when I bought Hitman The HD Trilogy the other week I encounted an issue with trying to play Hitman - Blood Money. The game would not start up and said that I had to change my settings from PAL 50 to PAL 60. So I go to do this, and there isn't that option. I did a quick google searh to see if I could find the issue and it tells me that I need to put in the component cable and you can then change it that way in your settings.

The only thing is, I gave my component cable to my brother for his xbox over 12 months ago cause his broke. So I order one from Hong Kong for next to nothing and wait.

It came yesterday in the mail. I've just hooked it up, changed it over to PAL 60 and plugged back in my HDMI cable. Works like a charm now. Looks like im spending the day playing some Hitman Blood Money then :yeah:

Man, everytime I try to 'Not buy anything this week', something has to happen <_>

This time, it's a sealed Conker on Xbox. Couldn't resist because it was 50 bucks and I only need to get a sealed Bad Fur Day when I have a bunch of money to toss :)

I'm glad to hear it. Although I haven't played MGS4 yet I just can't wrap my mind around the idea that Raiden is some sort of cool character now and I absolutely can't accept they'd give him his own game that strays so far away from the stealthy mechanics that the entire MGS series is known for. Don't think I'd touch the game unless I could get it WAY cheap.

Two packages from the USA today! :yeah:

First one contained Martian Gothic and Daikatana

Second package was from my man Bluedogrulez !!! :yeah: Could not have gotten this without his help! Hands-down the BEST EVER PS1 controller on the market (hate me if you must! >:-] )

Posted Image

Here is a shot of the back so you can see how the Shoulder/triggers are wonderfully made!

For anybody who thinks this looks like it would play like crap, nuh-uh. This controller is THE BEST but only if you hold it the 'playstation way'. Some people dont know, but a Playstation controller is meant to be held with Index fingers over the L1-R1 shoulders, and their Middle fingers on the L2-R2 buttons, not using Index fingers for all 4.

See? If you hold it like you should, THIS controller feels like you're playing with absolute comfort :yeah:

Yeah I couldn't :cussfit: believe that was all he wanted. I must have asked him like 5 times if he was sure. It was some kid whose older brother gave them to him and he had no use for them. He was 18 with no job and couldnt afford to purchase an xbox live membership.

Don't remember where I was informed of this, but it's true! I'm now really comfy playing that way and it feels right :)

Edit: the comfyness this boomerang controller provides is the reason why Sony are stupid for ditching THEIR prototype boomerang ps3 controller

If you don't hold the controller like THIS

well, i must be the dumb :cussfit: who dont it right then. I use index only and that's how I always did. the games I play never used the L1-R1 button anyway, so i dont care much.

i bet 90% of ps2/ps3 never did hold it the right way either.

Thats true Cabanon. None of my irl friends hold the controller that way, and apparently I'm the weird one

That said, most are Xbox fanboys who can't stand HOLDING a playstation controller in the first place. Their main issue was the L2-R2 "triggers", which to them, feels bad compared to the Xbox triggers. To be fair, they're not really 'triggers', just larger shoulder buttons, unlike on Xbox. I tried making them understand they need to use their middle fingers on a ps controller, but 'That's stupid' is the only response I get

Eitherway, like learning an instrument, if you play a long time with an un-ideal Method or stance, that will develop and will become the way that feels right. When that point is reached, it's the hardest thing to drop what you're used to and attempt to readapt.
