I still wonder how Japanese games end up in a small city in Florida, but oh well, it's kind of neat.
they just import it like we all do :)

These are 5 promo VHS Tapes that I won on an auction and 2 of which are sealed (Diddy Kong Racing and Hot :n64: ewz) the launch VHS tape for the N64, Star Fox VHS tape, and Donkey Kong Country for SNES.

Collector of everything.
I've added these to my collection in the past few weeks:
(starting to focus on Gamecube games now...)

Haven't played them all yet but I'm working on it. And the disc on top of the Ed, Edd & Eddy game is the bonus DVD, which I just happened to find at a thrift store for a dollar on the same day I bought the EEE game from a flea market for $5.

And as far as hardware/controllers, it's: one Nintendo brand Nunchuck, one Nyko brand nunchuck, and two third party GC controllers. Plus a non-pictured 32MB "Wii" (third party) memory card for the GC games.
Current N64 focus: NTSC-U carts. Current count: 108/296 (36.5%), 4 NTSC-J.

Hey that's not too bad a price for one in the box. All is forgiven mate, I've even heard that some members here like the PS1 better than the beloved :n64: but there not talking.

Good pick up on the PS1. Now you can play some real classics :P
What was great during childhood was most of my friends had a PS1, and in the late 90's I managed to convince a couple friends to swap consoles and I had the privilege to play all the greatest hits like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Metal Gear, and Final Fantasy 7. I've already played most of the classics but now I want a console for my own and I'm going back to see what I've missed. Honestly I bought the PS1 just to play the Mega Man Legends series and Bushido Spear. If you guys haven't played those, seriously do haha. Bushido Spear's mostly just for the multiplayer, it gets so choatic and addicting! You and your friends will yell at the screen guaranteed, haha.

Went to a game shop today and this small kid was selling his N64 games trying to get a newer Xbox 360 game, this shop owner is one i particularly dislike but its walking distance from work. He lowballed the kid for some perfect condition Pokemon N64 games and a few others. I saw the look on the kids face that was just super sad. I walked over and asked to buy them for almost triple what the guy was asking and the kids face lit up. Got yelled at by the shop owner but meh i just brushed him off and handed the kid a 50 and took the games. I just really hate the shop owner lol. Glad to make a kids day a little better and plan on doing everything I can to piss the guy off :)

My collection and wanted list!

You sir are a hero. I applaud you. Hopefully the kid doesn't go back there and spend his $50 on the owner's overpriced games.. or spend it on smack.

Indeed great story there!

In QC here there is a shop called DéDé Jeux Video, and I HATE the owner. He sells a loose conker cart for 129.99 and Mario kart 64 for 64.99 just to give an idea.

I still browse around there against my better judgement and it sickens me how he acts all like 'Oh hello mr unuspecting guy who wants to buy X! I will make you one HELL of a deal i'll take 20$ off my price!' ( which be doesn't at all mention is already priced double ebay value

It makes me admire the local independent game shop I support... sure, they check and scale to eBay prices on all their legacy merchandise, HOWEVER... they make a conscious effort to make sure to beat those prices and provide the deal to their customers!

I know what you mean. I was deciding between collecting Wii or GC games, but ultimately the lower price made the difference.
