Thanks DeeMoney! I plan to in the future, it's not a priority at the moment, but it will really bug me if I cant get the complete set (we all know how hard the watermelon blister pack controller is to find!) I better start looking! Lol.

Yeah, while that is a really good discount on that headset, I agree with Cabanon that it is something I wouldn't buy even it was just $10 as I'm not into online gaming and would not get much usage out of something that I would need to communicate with people. Anxiety, shyness and grumpy players don't mix well.

What are you guys talking about? Nobody is forcing you to use these to play games Online ?? I've been listening to music and playing my Vita games with these are they sound incredible. 7.1 surround simulation, bass impact, eq sliders on the headset. Seriously. These things sound THE BOMB, MUCH better than Dr Dre Beats imho. For 90$. I consider this a listening headset, bot really a communication device  I didnt even know it had a mic because I know the lower-end model has a mic arm sticking out, after checking the instructions I saw there was indeed a hidden mic. I mention it only because I have no reason to wear headphones for music while I'm at home because my computer has a nice sound system and I also have a surround sound system, both of which are in my living room. When I'm away from home I use my mp3 player and earbuds as I hate those gigantic ear muff style headphones. The idea of spending close to a hundred on headphones is outrageous to me, but I know that they'd be a steal to others for both gaming and normal listening.

Beats are quite good, have excellent construction ( particulatily the aluminum model ), but at 300-500$ these are very ill-affordable. Do you really think, Cabanon, that with all the in-store demo's everywhere that I never tried them? They sound good, but they have a constant overtone of additional bass so you dont get the source studio sound. Read reviews online, lots of people agree that the "Pulse Impact" feature puts Beats' bass to shame. The small vibrating transducers in the headset adds a crazy heavy dimension to the sound, and if it gets too much you can turn it off for soft listening. My friend who has beats tried my pair earlier and he was extremely impressed ( he's an audiophile who studies in audio mastering and recording ) and wants a pair too, even at 150. He also has a pair of aluminum beats, but he never uses them in studio because of the aforementioned reason. Dob't judge before you try, Cabanon : yeah: Edited by YogurtStorm, Apr 24 2013, 01:15 PM.

Holy crap, Yogurt... THAT'S AWESOME!! I'd snap those up at that price IN A HEARTBEAT! Those headphones have been in my Amazon "saved for later" cart ever since they launched last year, and I've been waiting for them to drop to at least a little more before I splurge on them. (They've been oscillating between $121 - $129 for the last 6 months.) I own a pair of the previous version, which I picked up right when they came out, and have been quite happy with them... and I hardly even use the mic part. Wireless & the (simulated) surround sound were what drew me to them! |

I'm currently downloading a free Steam version of Viking: Battle for Asgard that I received from a cool GameFAQs user who was giving away free keys. I'm also awaiting word on Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition that another user decided to give away in the same topic. I'd love to have that one, too, as I'm somewhat torn over Fallout games and I'd like to see what I think of 3. EDIT: I got Fallout 3: GotY Edition, too!

oh well. im happy with mine and there's not too much bass on my model (Studio HD). if im not happy with the sound (which never happened btw), there's a little thing called equalizer that can fix this. I also trying the Pro HD model but they are very stiff on the hear and I didnt liked it as much as mine. it's soft and I can have them on ear (over ear actually) for hours without fatigue. I guess ears are different for each human being and everyone will have their opinion on what is good or not. im sticking to mine, no matter what. |

That is very cool! And I still can't get over how many times Nintendo, the "kiddie console maker", used alcohol-related promotional materials. I have a Nintendo can coozie and a Donkey Konga shot glass and now this Heineken GameCube exists, too.

I have a Mario party 7 shot glass, and I've also seen a Conker's Bad Fur Day shot glass (but that one is understandable) Edit* 2 minutes after that post, I now too have a Donkey Konga one  Here is a link, 6 more available. Glad you all enjoyed it! @bluedogrulez - I have a saved search on eBay on my phone for it and it actually popped up. Now if only the MTV gamecube would. @yogurt - It's no sticker it's printed on there. From what I can find Heiniken had a contest and there were either 50 or 100 people who received the gamecube and a game (hopefully at least a 6 pack too) |
