And Xenoblade Chronicles I got today from GameStop. If you know anything about Wii games this game might be the Earthbound on Wii. It was a :cussfit: to get. But it helps when you have friends who work for GameStop and can call and get stuff in for you :D
Nicely done with XenoBlade Chronicles! I pre-ordered that one as soon as it was announced last year and did the same with The Last Story. So glad that I did because XenoBlade is hard to find and sells for way more than retail on eBay normally. I really want to get Pandora's Tower but I'm gonna have to wait.

My copies of Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero arrived today. I miss being able to share photos. :( But anyway, PDZ is a limited edition and includes everything and it is in immaculate condition! I don't think I did too bad paying $7.99 for it. :yeah:

Wow, so it sounds like Xenoblade Chronicles is a game I need to keep my eye out for (especially if it's the next Earthbound). I've become pretty good friends with two of the guys who work at the two closest gamestops to my house, but what's a good price for it? I'm just getting into Wii games but I definitely want to snag all the future rares I can get while I can get them.

And is it really worth owning? I don't want to spend a lot of money and energy on it if it's not a great game...

If you can find a copy for $50 then jump on it. On Amazon it is currently around $70 for used and $120 for new! Similar prices on eBay. I only sampled it a little bit when I picked it up but I need to sit down and play when I'm ready to invest the time in it so I can't really give a decent opinion. But it has garnered pretty good reviews:

IGN - 9 out of 10
Game Informer - 9.5 out of 10
G4TV - 4.5 out of 5
Nintendo Power - 9 out of 10

Worst review I see on GameFAQs from a publication or website was EGM who gave it a 6.5 out of 10.

Xenoblade is a great game! And I got it for $53. I guess you could say I got Lucky because one popped up in the GameStop just north of the one I go to. About a 30 min drive and my buddy (the manager) called that store and asked them to ship it to him. They did. He recived it today. And he had 3 stores called him and asked him for it. He had it maybe 5 hours and its that popular! This maybe the next Earthbound, keep your eyes open for one. I guess you can say I got lucky! :D

Xenoblade Chronicles was selling on eBay sometime last year for around the $50 mark, just checked on eBay and the price has gone up by quite a bit. Wishing I pulled the trigger back then now so I could have gotten my hands on it before it shot through the roof. :(

That's why I am so glad I was aware and a part of Operation Rainfall last year and pre-ordered. I wouldn't dream of selling my copy but it sure is cool to know that I could make some money off of it if I did. :money: :money: :money:

Ok, wow. Thanks for the info guys, I'll definitely be chatting up my gamestop friends tomorrow and hoping to find a lead on a copy. I didn't realize any Wii games would be worth so much already, especially used. Just checked and there's no copies within 100 miles. That's a first.

And those are all great reviews, I regularly use most of those sites to judge whether or not a game is worth playing/owning.

Guess I'm just going to have to keep my fingers crossed on this one.

EDIT: Also congrats, Coachluke22, the games alone are worth more than $50. Good job!

Xenoblade is an amazing RPG for the Wii. I personally think it's better than The Last Story but they play very very similar. IMO it's a must buy for the Wii.

I'm glad I picked my copy up a while back. I always wanted the Red controller pack though :(

I got xenoblade at Gamestop right before the massive price spike, it was going up and there were a few used copies (one sealed, didnt have enough $ for it I wish I got it since its like $120+ now) and got mine for 40. I used GS last year to find a few rare wii games for cheap like oregon trail for 20 ( not really rare but a good deal) metroid prime trilogy CIB for $42, one piece unlimited adventure for 30 and thats about it. Nice M2000 Luke i'm looking out for one myself currently :P

I ended up paying $380 shipped. Which I was surprised about. One sold a week before for $442.

I place the $380 bid knowing I wasn't going to win but then something amazing happened....nobody else bid. I think it was because the seller had a low-ish rating(like 92%) or something. He had some negative feedback for never shipping the items. I bid before I checked his feedback(rookie mistake) and once I saw his feedback I figured I was never going to see the controller.

On top of the feedback issue our local post office has been sucking horribly lately! Packages have been coming weeks late so I figured if he never did send the controller I would have to wait forever to find out.

But all was well. The controller doesn't have a scratch on it and I am super pumped to own it.

haha sorry about that. If you would've bid one dollar higher you would've won. I really had no intention of bidding any higher.

I had a very similar experience myself, there was a lot on eBay recently that included Sculptor's Cut and I don't think the guy knew. So I offered him $60 for SC and Mario Tennis just to make it seem normal and he said sure. I sent him the money through Paypal and everything, he said he would ship it the next day. Suddenly later that night he comes back with "I can't sell you SC" I guess he found out. :( I died a little inside. Very next day he added "INCLUDES SCULPTOR'S CUT" to the title so it showed up in SC searches and there went my chances... :nope:

Just what I needed, too. I only had a Wii til today and I've been using it for netflix a lot lately. It's been kind of annoying not being able to play Wii or GameCube and watch tv at the same time.
