Yeah that photo is def ringing some bells.

@ Phantom, you picked up a couple of great games there. Let us know how you go with The Walking Dead. One of the best releases this year. (In Australia anyway, I know it was out last year in NA) :yeah:

Great story line and a great game overall. It kept me interested for some time, and I'll be doing another play through at some stage to see what decisions I can make to alter the story line a little. :yeah:

Yeah mate for sure. Maybe play The Walking Dead first. Tomb Raider will take longer to complete.

The Walking Dead you should finish in about 10 hours or there abouts. Around 2 hours an episode I think. :yeah:

I was picking up a few things at the store when I noticed a pile of these under a large "Price Reduced" sign.

Purchased Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and DKCR3D today. These are the first 3DS games I've bought in a year or longer, hopefully they'll be pretty fun.

I picked up another lot off craigslist this morning. Then stopped at a few thrift stores on the way home to pick up a few more games.
Posted Image
Got the console, controllers, cables (not pictured) and the top row of games all for $20.
The cases with no games on top of them are empty (they had the wrong games in them). Disc only games are Tao Feng and Secret Weapon Over Normandy.
Got the 4 sports games from thrift stores for 2 dollars each. I was hoping they'd have something besides sports games, but a collections gotta start somewhere... All cases (except bowling) have the manuals.

I also picked up a copy of Goldeneye (the movie) since I haven't seen it in a long time.

Nice deal on the Xbox! I've been wanting to pick up an original Xbox for the longest time and it seems like you got a great deal there. I would prefer one with the box and all that but at this point if I found a sweet deal like yours I'd probably jump on it.

Enjoy Goldeneye, I watched that recently and it was a nice trip down memory lane AND it made me wanna play Goldeneye 007 really bad. :yeah:

Thanks! Yeah, the deal was too good to pass up. I'm always happy to pick up a new console for a good price. And I know what you mean- eventually I'd like to have a box too, but for now I'm glad to have the console so I can start collecting games for it.

I've spent a good amount of time playing the Goldeneye game but when I saw the movie in the store I realized I can hardly remember it. I need to get myself another copy of the game (I had it at one point but sold it) so I can play and watch at the same time :D

I grabbed one that was advertised on a local for sale site about a year ago now. It turned out to be the Halo Limited Edition console and also came with 19 games, all for $80 posted. :w00t:

Wow, that sounds like another great deal, as long as there were a few quality titles in there and not just all sports games.

Of course, someone offered this guy for the m2000 controller 600 and he's taking that offer. Figures either that or he was lying the whole time. Ah well

Some more pawn shop/thrift store finds:

Got it all for just under $20 with tax. The Master System game was only $2 with the case (cheapest I've seen) so I picked it up awhile.
I don't have a PS or PS2 yet, but a pawn shop nearby has a $30 bundle deal on PlayStations (console, cords, 2 controllers, game) that I'll probably pick up soon, and a friend of mine has an extra PS2 he's willing to trade for some Wii games. Corvette is still factory sealed.

i just got this in the mail on monday for 310$ buy it now auction!
sealed Olympus eye trek fmd-250w anybody ever heard of these? i guess they went for about 1200$ brand new in 2000 and you wear it around you head and it acts like a 61 inch screen, you can hook up games or dvds to it!
sealed xbox w/ tabs, 10-11 sealed xbos games
see-thru green s controller sealed, dvd remote and xbox live starter kit seale
and a nib? platinum gamecube it has no tabs but i dont think any of them do.

id say it was a pretty good deal. i dont own any of these items yet sealed or boxed so thats great. the main reason i wanted this lot was because of that eye trek i cant find much on it.. ive seen some of the older models sell for about 150$ used without box. either way still a great piece of history to have!
