I've never heard of anything like that before, but it sounds interesting. Be sure to let us know what it's like to use them and how it compares to a big screen tv. And it sounds like you got a great deal on everything, great job! |

Thanks buddu! and Im not looking to open it sorry, its still sealed. Theres a video on youtube though of some kid playing a racing game on the ps2 with a racing wheel and he explains on how realistic it felt for that era. Like he would turn his head left and right as if he was looking around in game. Could of been a great device just to expensive :/ |

Just picked up a copy of Mafia II for the Xbox 360. I've played this game before but havn't finished it. I remember enjoying it so I thought I'd pick up a brand new copy with all the available DLC. Something to tie me over until Australia decides to get back to Undead Labs about SoD.

I don't think it will be banned. They bought in the classification for it on January 1 this year. We had an issue with the last Mortal Kombat not being released here because that the classification was higher than our MA15+. R18+ came in on Jan 1 and Mortal Kombat was released later on, along with some other titles that have been given the R18+ class. From reading stuff on Facebook and on the Undead Labs website, the story goes that they are waiting to hear back from the people here in Aus as they requested more footage so they could classify it correctly. Hopefully it won't come to making an account for the US or UK, I'm pretty confident they will release it with the first update like they said.

Just picked up another console via craigslist:![]() I got all the PlayStation stuff (console, cables, controller, memory card, game enhancer) for $20. I picked up the games elsewhere for $8. Super Mario Sunshine was in the Animal Crossing case but I picked it up anyway. The PS2 games are complete. |

Nice haul yet again! An original PS1 is another console I'd like to pick up along with the original Xbox and a GameCube. I'd be pretty happy to find the kind of deals you have been, Omnert. |

Thanks! I'm incredibly happy to have found such good deals. I've been thinking about expanding my console collection for a while now, and $20 for a console (+ extras) is a price I just can't pass on. I've been watching craigslist for a few months now, and only recently have I been lucky enough to snag the good deals before someone else does. I hope you find some good deals on consoles too. Good luck! And @ TheJuice401, understandable that you would want to keep such a rare item sealed. I'll have to check out the video you mentioned. It sounds like a great idea- I wonder why it didn't catch on? |

Actually, the idea hasn't been scrapped altogether. A few companies did try their luck at it, most stopped in the prototyping stages, however Sony produced the HMZ T-1 personal 3D viewer, which came out only a few years ago I think and it's about 1000 bucks. It's got 3D and 7.1 simulation and probably works alot better than older similar devices.

That's a great find buddy. We had a C64 growing up and I loved it. I would love to be able to have a game on one again one day.

Cheers, I've been thinking about buy another for at least a year and when I saw the T2 package I had to grab it. never know they did one. Best thing about this is the tapes take up very little space and on the whole they are very cheap. Ordere Robocop as well, really looking forward to 8 bit gaming again lol |

J-webb: Can you solder? I bought an NES Zapper that did not work. Before I attempted a fix, I hit the seller up for a partial refund b/c it was sold as working. Then I opened it up (easy), immediately saw that one of like two wires in the simple device was detached. Soldered it. Good as new. Even it you can't, you might propose to a resolution with the seller so you are not out of pocket money with no product to show for it. |

Thanks to a nice bonus from work this paycheck I allotted myself a percentage for some gaming purchases. Plus, I have some stuff to sell off at a local used entertainment store so I made a bunch of purchases today. Well, the first two I picked up a few days ago. Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers (PS2) The Saboteur (360) Headhunter (PS2) Headhunter: Redemption (PS2) Star Wars: Obi Wan (Xbox) and strategy guide Winback: Covert Operations (PS2) Fantavision (PS2) Devil Kings (PS2) Mad Maestro (PS2) Primal (PS2) Pandora's Tower (Wii) Resident Evil: Director's Cut strategy guide Resident Evil Archives II book Wow, all of that and The Last of Us next week. I'm lucky I had the extra cash coming in. EDIT: Better add God Hand for PS2 to that list. Finally got a copy for around $20. That's a hard one to track down these days for a decent price. Today, for (what seems like) the first time ever, I ran out of cash before I ran out of thrift store games, leaving behind games I would have otherwise purchased. Both stores I went to had just put out huge game lots, which is pretty rare.![]() I got the GameCube game and all the PS2 games from the first store (except Vice City), but apparently someone had been there just an hour before and picked out all the "good" games (according to the cashier). The second store had a large amount of PS1 games, so I picked up the non-sports ones, but there were quite a few racing games I would have liked to get, all in great shape too- not a scratch on them. I'll be going back tomorrow to pick up some more. I paid $25 for all the games (I got a few DVDs too, spent $30 total). I was disappointed when I got home and discovered that there was actually a copy of Madden 2005 in the Guitar Hero II case. I'm usually good about checking, but somehow I missed that. Oh, and Madden 2003, Vice City, True Crime, and all the PS1 games are complete. GHII is case and manual only, and Madden 2005 is disc only. Edited by Omnert, Jun 6 2013, 07:53 PM.

Don't you hate when that happens. I had an experience once where I bought some Gamecube games and a Gamecube off of eBay. The Gamecube had the Zelda collection in it and I though great I scored a free game. About a week later I got a msg on eBay from the seller asking if that game was in the console as her 10 year old son was upset because he had lost it. I did the right thing and ended up posting it back to them. Thought I had a free game tho, oh well, hopefully that little bot appreciates it. Not sure how many people would have said no and kept it.

Indeed. Finding something extra or unexpected can make the best deal even better. It always stinks when it goes the other way around, though. And I bet the majority of people would have kept it. I hope the kid realized how lucky he was that he had an honest buyer. But doing the right thing offers it's own rewards.
