I used to get lots of stuff from a small gameshop (also part of a chain BTW) but they closed down so now i just ask everywhere, even when i'm not buying anything. Today it was one of the bigger anonymous electronics chain stores. The guy who gave me the standee was the same who took my pre-order earlier this week and we recognized each other. It can certainly help to establish a relationship with the staff... put in a pre-order, make some smalltalk, say hi when you're just browsing the shop and always thank them profusely. Make it personal so you become "that crazy Nintendo guy" and before you know it people will even put things aside for you |

sold within the last week a spare NES console with a controller, cables but no games, and also my ps1 console with the Tomb Raider games. turned out I needed some spare funds and that was what I didnt want anymore. not that I didnt liked it but it was something i didnt cared about much. more space for something else ! |

Bought the New Super Luigi U game for the Wii U today, so that is our plans for today. Hopefully go out and grab Pikmin 3 this afternoon, we'll see. Both were released today in Aus. I wish the levels were longer in Luigi U though. You have a shorter amount of time in each level, so they are that bit more challenging. |

some items that came in this week! paid 20$ for memory card and 11.31$ for the donkey kong barrel and the plushie fits inside! not sure what they are.. but i did see the same thing with donkey kong ( not sure if same size ) maybe given away as promo items for the dk64 release??

Couldn't resist a bargain bin price on Pokemon Typing Adventure, that weird product that comes complete with a a neat Bluetooth keyboard. I'm pretty sure these things are going to be rare as hen's teeth in a decade or two. |

Picked up a pretty cheap deal on this game. Doom 3 The BFG Edition, comes with all the add ons of the game and also comes with the original Doom and Doom 2

This came in the mail today and I had completely forgotten I won the auction for it. I remember thinking it was pretty cool and besides the box, everything is brand new so thought it would be nice to own. Couldn't find much information about it but the box says you could use it to check your email and browse the web in some ways using your N64 so its pretty amusuing:

  My partner and I have been looking for a Banjo Kazooie N64 bundle since we started collecting, one in good condition, from a seller who would actually post to Australia...and we finally found one! It arrived yesterday. It is definitely one of our favourites. The N64 game tower came in the mail today. We have only seen a couple in the original box, very lucky to have gotten this one. |

Thank you! We got it from the UK, it has UK coding on the box/cart etc, but Im not too sure if it was exclusive to the UK or other parts of Europe got it as well. |

Some new additional stuff and some upgrades/cartridges in better condition than I had before: Blue N64 console, Funtastic Ice (?), plus controllers Spoiler: click to toggle Japanese N64 games: Spoiler: click to toggle Additional/upgraded N64 games: Spoiler: click to toggle Unfortunately, one box of games was sent back to the post office by the company where I collect parcels/packages, because I wasn't able to collect it in time, as I was away on holiday. And, according to the seller the parcel might lack a return address so the box seems to be in limbo somewhere or gone. The post office says it's untraceable and that there is nothing they can do, so no luck there. Hopefully it will turn up sometime in the future, but I will never again order things I can't pick up in time. |

Purchased a huge lot from a collector i met thru ebay. Tons of cool displas and promo items!! Paid 650$ for all id say it was a pretty decent deal! ( missing a xbox 360 sign that ill post when comes in ) My first stand up kiosk! ( gonna work on adding leds to it bottom leds work but idk how to hook up the ps2 top sign )  Ps2 sign!  Xbox displays and 2 gameboys!  Plastic psp display with 15 inch tv ( easily moves onto any 15 inch tv )  12 inch plushie hats  Pokemon new york center statue  Big halo 4 display ( blinks halo 4 at bottom )  Ps vita press kit i think.
