But that's "Contra Force", the least known of them, I thinks that's why he asked. I'm also convinced that this one is actually worse than both Contra and Super C. |

Yes, it is true. This is the rarest "contra", but widely viewed as not really part of the franchise and the worst in terms of gameplay. I popped it in to test it and, as the critics say, a lot of slow down on the first level. Still, seems like a fun run and gun platformer, so i look foward to playing it more. |

finally picked up a copy of conkers, but was really disappointed in the condition it came in(cant really tell here). Crushing was really horrid on the top and bottom. If anybody has a spare manual i need it!

there was an "international" retro gaming fair yesterday in my town. a good 100 sellers were there and each one of them had the most amazing retro stuff. the absolute focus was on snes, nes and N64. also some PSX and a little PS2 / PS3 xbox crap. most was PAL stuff as it was in belgium there was a waiting row of half an hour. then.....the gates of heaven opened  CIB classic games left, right and center. a full table of CIB near mint gameboy games. boxes full of near mint N64 games. there was conker standing on a shelf, waiting to be bought. for 225 euros demon's crest, vampire's kiss, lost vikings 2, all in one box behind glass. a PAL super castlevania 4, dutch / french manual for 150 euro. mint condition. this was my first buy. half of my budget gone. must...resist...buying everything i ended up walking around for an hour, and i felt like seeing the top of the mountain. i can't imagine ever seeing so many classic games together again. also, i bought manuals for 007 TWINE (got it for free), street fighter II pal dutch and killer instinct snes pal dutch. further games i bought were donkey kong for the gameboy classic CIB (15 euro) and super mario land 2 CIB (15 euro). dutch versions, no player's choice in the end i spend some 180 euro good times  |

I know what Contra is like  although it's called Probotector here. We just didn't get Contra Force released here hence why it's gameplay is unknown to me. Thanks for the head up anyway BDR  |

Quick question fellas- does the physical copy of WW HD coming out on the 4th, come with some sort of gold packing or some other "special" material? No, I am not speaking of the one w the Ganon figurine. Just a plain jane retail copy. |

Some new additions and upgrades: Four controller stick upgrade kits from micro over at nfggames forum: Spoiler: click to toggle I'm extremely excited about this, can't wait to test these out. Hopefully I will have enough confidence this weekend, to give assembly a go. Soldering is not one of my strengths, so I need to prepare myself for this and pray it'll go well. Also, four new gamecube-style sticks to use as housings for the upgrade kits - I guess this is the only value these GC-style replacement sticks have really. Shadow Gate (UKV) very happy about this purchase! J2 upgrade CIB and baggies, Ogre Battle NTSC-J CIB and baggies, Spoiler: click to toggle Controller Pak x3 (you can never have too many of these I guess), Daffy Duck, Donald Duck, Centre Court Tennis CIB and Doom again (to replace one of the games that was in the box that was lost in the mail) plus a bunch of stuff from eBay on the way (Japanese N64 console, Hori controllers, etc). And, I bought a bundle, N64 console/controllers and games from "craigslist"-kind of site last week but that hasn't arrived yet, and I'm beginning to think it never will. Win a few lose a few I guess... |

I got a recent opportunity to purchase a n64 w/ expansion pack, 007, some wrestling game for $30- sounds like a good deal no? Yes, it all works, oh and two controllers. |

Nope, I did not get GTA, but I got myself this: Here are the stuff I got for the month:  the DDR games for PS3 and Xbox360, I got it pretty cheap including the mat, its a nice display =) The N64 red boxed controller, That one missed from my last shipment but I got it now <3 GameCube TDEV (brown) and the GameCube NR(green). These where used for testing and debugging. It came with 4 Sealed NR Disks and 5 prototype gamecube games (I can`t see the writing but seems like): Quad Power Rally 2 (or something) WWF Day (or something) (2 parts) TE redemption Tiger woods 2003 I also cleaned out some old small basement thingie and I saw some intresting stuff as well. No games or anything but I found:  2 Pokemon Megazines! 1 with an awesome armored Mewtwo cover, the other with some "exclusive 100 scetches of NEW pokemon!" (names are in Japanese when the Megazine is Dutch 0.o) a Sealed PS1 manual (No idea why and how) and a dried up N64 manual. Also a awesome Mewtwo card, and I had some memories with the card on the right corner. You get it with mars/snickers/bounty/whtaever someone remembers it? Thanks, Clarky! Yes, it is definitely a cool game. The SNES library is full of quasi-rare games that are really great to play but are skyrocketing in price (Dracula X, Hagane, Wild Guns, etc.). |

Got my self a bargin got Pokemon box ruby and sapphire organizer for GameCube $5 au dollars cheap from a charity store comes with instructions for cable Link, manual and disc itself hardly any scratches

Got in one of the last things I'll be getting for awhile: An unusual looking Final Fantasy VII strategy guide I'd never seen. Its from Sandwich Islands Publishing Company and has a generic look to it but I had to have it for my FFVII collection. I'm going to try to get a headset for playing GTA Online soon but otherwise I don't think I'll be buying anything game related until the new year. |
