I was just given a Wii and a slew of accesories by my brother in law. I will post pics soon after I get back home and unpacked. He put some games on it for me, though I dont know what if any games he gave me with it. Never wanted a Wii too bad. Mainly planning to use it for netflix is another room, but will game on it some i'm sure. Can't beat a free system! :yeah:
Let us know what games you play on it. BTW, is it one of the GameCube backwards compatible ones?

Just bought an N64 microphone BALL for $12
I remember calling Nintendo and ordering the last of their microphone clips back in 2004. They also had Mic BALLS left and i should've bought them all! I believe they were 50 cents each...
Working on a pet project with them :) Does ANYONE here have any they don't want or info to where i can find more? Please CONTACT ME.
D :n64:   >_> >_<

Nice pickup on Deadly Premonition, apparently the PS3 version has some framerate issues, but man, it's a great game, and more people need to play it

I don't know if it is or how to tell. It has Mario 64, Paper Mario 64, Mario 2, Mario 3, Super Mario World, Pokemon snap, Metroid, Dr Mario, and something called World of Goo?

Came with a wiimote, nunchakus, a wavebird controller, the controller that looks like a snes one with anologs, a sensor bar, and a wifi cable. I think thats it :)

If you got a Wavebird with the Wii then I'm going to venture to guess that it's the backward compatible version.

If you didn't get component cables with it you can order them dirt cheap at Monoprice. You'll be amazed how much better the Wii looks on an HDTV when you use them. :yeah:

I dont know what those are??

Grizz it came with cables. It has four gc style plug ins on the side of it. I played a bit of about half of the games I name earlier. The controllers all felt awkward to me.

It's backwards compatible then

Component are a different kind of cable (if you have a hdtv you should be able to use them) that just gives out a higher quality signal

castlevania PS2 (lament of innocence)

a surprisingly entertaining metroidvania in 3D. you can navigate a metroid like map so you see instantly which rooms you have yet to visit.

all the classic sub weapons are here again. some brutal whip-slashing and.... vampires!

it's one of those rare games i'm instantly immersed in, that i want to keep on playing. lots of backtracking with added powers which i just love. lots of secrets and the team of sympony of the night that worked on this game.

a future rarity for sure 8)

The Famicom Modem and the Famicom Glasses where both 7500 JPY totall (50+- euro)
The 3DS was in "last-one-left-discount" for 180 euro,

according to the description the Famicom Glasses where "sealed" but oh well, its new (all the stickers are still on the glasses) but opened so I won`t complain.

Thanks Matt!
Yeah, it's been on my list of things to pick up for a while... (even though I already have the "vanilla" version on the 360). My friend even advised against buying it... but I was adamant.

Matt: it looks to be standard av cables with an s video hook up as well? Im not too picky when it comes to perfect pictures. Despite having the 43" plasma, I play online fps games on a crap 25" tv still. I do better on it honestly some how.

Enjoyed some Pokemon Snap with my daughter last night :)

It should look like a normal composite (yellow white red) cable, only instead of yellow you have red, green and blue connectors for a total of 5

Hey guys, back from my trip I absolutely love Canada can't wait to go back. Anyways I only bought 2 games while i was there as prices were obviously on the high end, picked up Mana Khemia 2 on the ps2 for $35 not a terrible price for what it is. And I also bought ff4 ds right before my 13 hour train ride at EB for $15 so not a bad deal on that either

I guess I should report that I crossed the 900 game mark on Sunday when my daughter received Skylander's Swap Force for her birthday. It officially becomes a part of my collection since I'm the only one in the family who owns a 360 and that's the version she got.

Very good mate. Not too far off the 1000 game mark. I think I've nearly got 400 at this point. I have trouble working out what to play now. Anymore games and I'll be in huge amounts of trouble working out what to play next :)
