Action, you are really in SNES mode right now This came last night (although it was sealed at that point ):![]() Being a fan of the NES trilogy, I couldn't resist a new copy for under $14. Gave it some run last night and wow, this one is action-packed right from the start. No belabored training sessions here; drops you in the middle of a 3D Ninja Gaiden level and you're off to hack and slash your way through. I could do without the gore and the language, but the controls seem surprisingly intuitive. Seems it got really excellent reviews particularly the Wii U version, but seems to have been lost amongst all the Wii U bashing. |

BDR, been tempted to buy this game for ages. Like you I loved the NES games and the first xbox game. Not sure the hack and slash games are really me now though. Maybe one day I'll pick it up

Received my Turok: Dinosaur Hunter through the post today (£3!), and will soon have OoT Collector's Edition. The latter I have wanted ever since the game came out. I remember I was utterly mortified that Nintendo did not see fit to release it in Europe at the time. The first game I actually bought for my NTSC console (ie; didn't come with it) was a v1.1 grey cart of the game. The gold ones are ridiculously-expensive, and I thought "well hey, this one is cheap and is basically the same with all the original unchanged content". But it wasn't enough. It's a 16 year itch that needs to be scratched, once and for all. It's going to be a weird moment finally having it. Back to Turok - it's pretty cool playing it again. I never owned this one before (only 2, Rage Wars and 3), but I did play it back in the day at a friend's house. It quickly got forgotten about once GoldenEye landed due to it's lack of multiplayer, which is a shame and I wish I actually played it more. It's very cool, and very oldschool. It was before GoldenEye of course, so we didn't yet have objectives and whatnot in our FPS games. It plays like a cross between Quake and Tomb Raider, the latter part I didn't remember. I know you do a bit of jumping around in 2 and 3, but in the original there's quite a bit. I think it works OK, and certainly not an issue at all with the map turned on. Still playing Shadow Man, so I mustn't get too stuck into Turok yet. But hey - who can resist the urge to at least play a little of a new game they bought when they first get the chance? Not me! One of my brother's good friends is going to build me a top-notch gaming PC shortly It's 80% going to be covered by my to-be-sold-to-family Macbook (which I can't stand anymore as it can't run any games at ALL) so I figured if I had to upgrade, it'll be now.Oh, why is this in the Post when you buy or sell any game thread? Because :![]() Longtime player of the original mod, and I really wanted to get back into this while also seeing it develop over time. When my PC is going to be ready, any spare time will exist no more

Not sure what you'll think of Wario World. Opinions on it are pretty mixed, but I thought it was fun. My main complaint is that it's short. Yeah, I think this is the worst game in the "New" series and one of the lessor Mario games overall, but at least Coin Rush is fun. |

Mario Kart 64. This game is surprisingly-expensive. Even the English ones on eBay are over a tenner. The American ones are nuts. £30 for a loose cartridge? Why is Mario Kart 64 so "rare" as all the listings put it? Is it so awesome that everyone held on to their copies or something? Because I'm pretty sure it's one of those games that was extremely popular and therefore surely they made millions and millions of copies? Why is GoldenEye so cheap, but not Mario Kart? Edit: Sniped my NTSC loose cartridge off eBay UK today for £14 including postage! Edited by Martin64, Feb 26 2014, 04:16 PM.

I dont understand it neither. they've made millions and millions copies of every 1st party games, yet they sell like crazy. just gotta wait for the right price. local ad is your best bet and PATIENCE is everything. dont rush otherwise you overpay, like you just did (no offense). |

Nice pick up, I played on PC, but I assume the Wii U version is the same (the only different versions are the 3DS and Android versions from what I can see, and i'd avoid them), Hope you enjoy it as much as I did |

One difference I'm really excited about is the use of the Gamepad in 2-player mode. The gamepad shows player 1's perspective; the TV shows player 2's view . . . no split screen But the game play mechanics I'm sure are the same. |

@TheJuice: I'm jealous of that Symphonia Chronicles Collector's Edition. I thought I kept up pretty well on the availability of such an edition but apparently I overlooked it. Didn't discover there was one until the day it came out. Not sure I would have went for the price had I came across it earlier but it is still really nice. Oh well, I have a couple other collector's edition games coming in the next few weeks/months that I'm really looking forward to.
