Been a little while since my last post in this thread... so I'll list some highlights:
Wii Fit
Guitar Hero: On Tour
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
Soul Bubbles
Taiko Drum Master
Toki Tori
Lost Winds
Gyrostarr

...and toying with the idea of picking up the now-$299 Xbox 360 Pro... but my problem is I just don't have the TIME to play silly video games these days.

Kinda sucks how time is forever inversely proportional to monies.
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I just went on my first ever trip to North America - Toronto, Canada to be precise - and I stepped in a random game store (EB Games I think it was). I have to say, compared to what we have here in Belgium, it was gaming heaven. GameCube, N64, GBA games for sale - used of course, but here they stopped selling anything before the DS and 360 so all we have left is eBay. Older games that actually cost less than new games (I'm talking about DS games now, since that's all I looked at due to region locks on the consoles) - Phoenix Wright 3 was only $20, compared to Apollo Justice's $30. Here DS games rarely drop in price - they stay at the standard €35-40 until they cannot be found any more. And the prices are a lot lower too (although that's probably due to the weak dollar).

The only weird thing was that all the prices do not include tax. When a game costs $19.99, I expected to have to pay $19.99 - instead, I had to pay $22.54 or something.

Still, I got 3 games:
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations (DS)
Professor Layton and the Curious Village (DS)
WarioWare Twisted (GBA)

All of those did not come out in Europe...

Now I just wonder what Japanese game stores must look like...

Wizardry: Tales of the Forsaken Land (PS2)

It's by Atlus, not Sirtech, but it is really freaking amazing. In some respects, it's actually better than some of the canonical Wizardry games.

Hey Dagoss, did you recently buy another PS2? Because I think I remember you saying you sold it in order to buy your Wii (:().

I did buy a (used) PS2 when I sold my Wii. I never should have sold it to begin with -- the PS2 I mean; selling my Wii was a great decision that I have not regretted in the slightest.

I did not like FF12 at first. After I played it a bit more, it hooked me -- even though I didn't really like it. I sank 80 hours into it, and I'm not sure how. It has a lot of problems, both gameplay-wise and narrative, but I kept playing for some reason.

I'm five hours into the game and I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. Personally, I think the License system is too complicated, considering you already have to level up traditionally and customise your gambits.

The storyline is great and I'm loving the battle system, but I'm worried about becoming frustrating with the character advancement system, as I do really feel there is simply too much that has to be done. Realism is good, but do you really need a license to wear an armguard? <_<

Got A-Train HX for the 360. It seems to play alright (although the reviewers seem to strongly disagree) but there's no tutuorial. For a strategy game with this much depth it's a crime that they tell you nothing about how to play it. :(

I picked up Master of Monsters(PSX) new, and of course, a used Blast Corps.(I forgot to actually grab B-K while I had the chance. Doh!)

I got Mario Strikers Charged (Wii) a week or so ago... Really underestimated the cheapness of scoring in this game. :(

I also sold a few games, for the first time in... 9 years, I think. They were:

Boom Blox (Wii) - Reviewers are liars.
Eternal Darkness (GCN) - Never played it, figured I never would.
Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer (GCN) - No where near as good as the Tony Hawk games.
Resident Evil (GCN) - Never played it even once.
WWF Wrestlemania X8 (GCN) - The N64 wrestling games are better.

I picked up a Game Genie(SNES), Starfox(SNES), Soul Calibur 3, Soul Calibur 4(X360), Dragonball Z: Budokai(GCN), Game Boy Camera, Game Boy Printer(w/ cable), and Dragon Warrior 2(NES).

Quite a nice haul today.

Got quite a few games recently, all for the 360.

Peter Jackson's King Kong
Scene It!
Sega Rally (called Sega Rally Revo in the states)
Superman Returns
Test Drive Unlimited

I want Civilization Revolution but I'm waiting for it to fall in price.

I just bought Ratchet and Clank 2 and Final Fantasy X-2, both obviously for the PS2. I'm a huge fan of the first Ratchet and Clank game, so I hope the sequel lives up to its name.

!!!!!!!

I love that game, probably one of my favourite 360 games so far. It's one of my favourite multiplayer games at the moment.

^ Yeah Sega Rally's pretty good. Have you played DiRT? It's even better! :)

I got another new game today; Stuntman Ignition for the 360. It's good fun although trying to get perfect ratings for each "scene" can be quite repetative. I noticed when I was looking through the manual that it's developed by Paradigm (the developer of Pilotwings 64).

Beyond Good And Evil (GCN). Got it for pretty cheap at Gamestop. I want to finish Metroid first, then see if this title deserves all the acclaim that it gets.
