this is not a "not for resale" cart. its just a DEMO sticker in the back, a slight variation. the true "NFR" carts have a "DIS-" code before the cart's product code. still cool tho.

Visited the new Goodwill that opened up about a month ago and came back with some PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games.

PlayStation
- Crash Bandicoot: Warped (with case only) (Needed this to replace my original copy, which wouldn't played level 23)
- Jet Moto 2 (with case and manual)
- Gran Turismo 2 (with both discs and case)
- Colony Wars (with both discs and case) (1/2 off due to being a blue tagged item)

PlayStation 2
- Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (with case, manual and PlayStation Underground order form)
- Jak II (with case and manual)
- God of War (with Blockbuster rental case and manual)
- Max Payne (with case, manual and Rockstar registration card)
- Ape Escape 2 (with Blockbuster case) (Catch of the Day)
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (with case and manual)
- Resident Evil Code: Veronica X (with case and manual)

I was going to take a picture of it all, but was almost instantly reminded that my floor really needs to be vacuumed.

i have just won my personal holy grail of videogames: a PAL FAH almost mint copy of TMNT4: turtles in time for the snes

the bidding war was devastating, making me 200 euro poorer. but man, was it well worth it.

FAH snes games (dutch / french manual) are, from my view, the most expensive and rare versions of snes games, in the midst of already skyrocketing prices. building a decent FAH snes collection is a complete and utter nightmare.

Today's arrivals:

Funny you mentioned MGS as I just got the strategy guide for my least favorite game in the series. I'm a fan of the first game and the second comes in close behind it.

Since I posted in here last, Mario Kart 64, Rogue Squadron, Turok 2, and the fabled golden OoT cartridge arrived through the post. Little bit disappointed with the condition of the Turok 2 cart. It plays fine, and looks mostly OK except someone has written "B.C" in the ESRB logo in felt pen, and someone else has tried to erase it, merely wiping away the ESRB and leaving every trace of the pen! I'm no stickler for CIB etc, but I do at least like my cartridges to look decent. I don't mind a few blemishes, but this is too much. Might sell it along with another random SM64 I have which has been defaced on the back and just get another.

I have mostly been playing Zelda (sorry, Shadow Man!). I've said a few times around these boards so I won't go on the whole sob story. In short; always wanted it, wasn't made available here, now have it. Happy. As an aside from it's awesome gold-ness, it's been a long time since I played either of the N64 Zeldas. I have to say that OoT is still a great game to play. Yes, things have moved on but there's nothing 'wrong' about OoT. Many old games show ugly game mechanics that are difficult for some to stomach. I really believe that OoT isn't one of those games, and everyone should play it. It looks old, but the gameplay is still spot-on.

Played some Rogue Squadron and Turok 2. I forgot how good Rogue Squadron was. It looks amazing with the Expansion Pak, and really doesn't drop much pace in hi-res mode. Bravo! Turok 2 is a mixed bag. I love it, but it's doggedly-slow. It's just unplayable in hi-res, and not that much better in lo-res. I'd be interested in picking up a later revision to see if that helped the frame rate any (seeing as I want to sell my Turok 2 on anyway). As it is, I'd have to say that on balance - brace ye selves - the original Turok holds up better simply because of it's comparatively smooth gameplay. The amount of missed arrows etc simply because I didn't have enough frames to work with.

Mario Kart 64 has set our house on fire. Even the woman in our house plays it with us. It's literally been like olden times. Food and stuff all on the floor in front of us, each with N64 pad in hand- Kartin' it up. You know it's a classic when a total non-gamer who couldn't give a :cussfit: about retro consoles is loving it. My Mario Kart turned out to be the Player's Choice version. Not that it matters, but thought I'd mention it.

All loose apart from Rogue Squadron which was CIB. Some :cussfit: good buys I tell ye. I now have 17 games in my NTSC N64 collection, some CIB, some not. Slowly striking them off my hit-list!

I just started falling in love with Steam i think... I really don't like downloadable games, and if I can a phyiscal copy I will, but when you can get 8 games for like 5 bucks on steam, it's kinda hard to beat! I really dig these bundles you find online that offer great stuff for dirt-cheap prices.

Since last week, I went up from the 9 or so games my account had to a whooping 32 games, including some great stuff like Burnout paradise ultimate box, off-road drive, one finger death punch, critical mass, etc... When I look at it, I got over 20 games for just over 20 bucks. That's pretty amazing.

FYI: This basically means they don't permit renting or selling used copies of the game... so not anything all that truly exciting, unfortunately.

I've typed it here for your own text-glossing, if you so wish:
当社は当社が著作権を有するソフトウェアの複製および賃貸(レンタル)、中古販売についてこれを一切許可しておりません。

Still though... your JP-import collection has FAR and AWAY exceeded mine... mega-props. :yeah:

@Red... I think you're well on your way to outnumbering me in PS3 titles!!
