This just came in, got the seller to end it early for 55$ super excited to have this! Hard to find game boys with stickers on the front showing it was a bundle. This pickup makes it my 45th gameboy!

I watched him drunkenly slip, fall right on it and broke it in half hahaha it was pretty funny, but now that I own it it's not as funny as it was. And he doesn't want to sell on eBay or Craigslist so he decided to sell it to me for what gamestop would pay which is $200 cash. I'll take em how I can get em i suppose unfortunately ps3 controllers don't work on the console which in my opinion is absurd so another $50 will go down the drain when i get paid on friday. What should my first game be?Also juice i find it pretty funny that you have more gameboy systems than I have gameboy/gba games in general

Look what FINALLY showed up. Don't mind me as I disappear into dark room thick with nostalgia. I've been having the urge to replay these games since the HD remake was announced. I've been avoiding my PS2 just to avoid the sheer temptation. Now it's time to get comfy, and re-live one of my absolute favorite games of all time in beautiful HD. Dang, I'm a geek. And it's great.

just got a ps2, never have one....100 dollars new on the store, really like the red dont know if it rare or something. comes with 2 games 2 stickers sheets 1 poster and a playstation wrapping paper

That red one looks pretty! I just got a boring black one, but for an amazing price though. Two pick-ups today at the local gameshop: PS2 Grand Theft Auto III Gamecube Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requim Did set me back €12, but I think it is totally worth it, since I have been looking for the Gamecube game like forever. Eternal Darkness... what a great game. My favorite Gamecube title! Have fun! @TRS Yeah, I got mine from Amazon too. I'm way out in the boonies though, so that's just the way it is I guess. The first of the three games I ordered online has arrived!  I actually used to own this game as a teenager, but sold it when my first GameCube stopped reading discs. My brother and I would play this by hooking up our Game Boy Advances to the system and even one of my best friends would join in whenever he came over. Glad to have this one back. Oh and the second game is already waiting at the post office for me, so I'll be getting that tomorrow. Post #5794 has been updated. |

Item #2 has arrived! I remember playing the first game when I was a kid, but quickly dismissed it due to it's point system of fighting. Yeah how dare you not be exactly like Street Fighter II!?  I've matured since then and what was blasphemous to me back then is beyond interesting to me today. Besides, even if this game isn't good, it will at least serve the main purpose of me buying it.Amazon doesn't seem to want to tell me when the third game will be here. I know it won't be tomorrow (no mail on Sundays), but I hope it comes in soon. Until then, I'll be having fun with the games I have now. Post #5794 has been updated. |

Today's arrivals: Sitting Ducks is from the same company that did Dog's Life, which was my most recent Favorite Games entry. Figured I'd give it a chance. The other two games I bought from a friend at work before he tried to use the new trade-in system at Walmart. Gave him $10 apiece instead of the roughly $5 each he was going to get.  Just realized these arrivals have caused me to hit 1,000 games in my collection!

Every month there's a tiny fleamarket in the community center in my neighbourhood. I try to go there every time because it's free and i have managed to pick up some nice stuff there every once in a while, like a Atari Lynx with games, a loose Metroid cartridge or some Pokemon plushies for a dime each. The pickings are usually pretty slim but today i really was in luck. First table in the room had a SNES console and a bunch of controllers. "How much for the Nintendo?" i asked. "It comes with all these games (points to box full of carts) and this gun thing (Super Scope) for 60 euro and i'll throw in this thing (Famiclone)". I also noticed a Super Gameboy and quickly counted 20 cartridges in the box. Experience tells me that if you find such a number of games, there's always a couple of good ones so i didn't even bother to check them out. The seller told me he already declined a lowball offer so i didn't bother with haggling either and agreed to his price. Had to go back home to get more money but he kept his word and had bagged up everything for me when i returned with the cash. I quickly scanned all the other tables and snapped up a licensed Wii carry-all /messenger bag as well. At home i discovered that i bagged no less than four games that i did not have in my collection yet (a rare feat when you've got 320+ SNES games), a bunch of manuals and a weird Mortal Kombat III controller with special character moves on three cartridges. Plus a hidden bonus... Sega Master System 3D glasses!!! (without the card adapter alas) SNES console, 2 standard controllers, PSU, r/f cable Super Scope light gun & Scope 6 cartridge Super Gameboy Super Power turbo controller Mortal Kombat III turbo controller complete with 3 character move cartridges & manual (v1) Famiclone with 2 controllers, Turbo Card controller, Zapper clone games: * The Blues Brothers * Top Gear 2 * Mortal Kombat 3 Ultimate (+manual) * Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - The Fighting Edition (+manual) Super Mario All Stars Super Mario Kart Donkey Kong Country (+manual) Mortal Kombat 3 (label damage, ex-rental) Kevin Keegan's Player Manager FIFA '98 (+manual) FIFA '97 (+manual) Jurassic Park Street Fighter II (+manual) Aladdin (+manual) The Smurfs Around The World (+manual) Jungle Book Choplifter III Killer Instinct Mickey Mouse Magical Quest (+manual) Edited by Mk II, Mar 30 2014, 04:21 AM.

Seems like a good fleamarket day today. Just picked up a few games on a fleamarket as well: PS1 Army Men: Land Air Sea (disc only) PS2 Max Payne (Platium complete) PS2 Metal Gear Solid 2 (complete, 2-disc edition) PS2 Metal Gear Solid 3 (3-disc edition, missing manual?) Did cost me €7,15 (don't ask) and he trew in a copied PS1 game wich looks like it could bring some fun as well. I don't know if I'm going to like the PS2 games, but they are great desired titles. MGS3 alone would be worth €20-30 if I have to believe a local auction-site. SCORE! Pictures say more than a 1000 words, so here's today's pick-ups.
