weird... every Vampire's Kiss cart i've seen has serious label damage.
Mine has almost no label left so i wasn't really sure what i bought until i was able to examine it more closely at home.
But i paid only 1 or 2 euro so it was well worth the gamble :)

2 euro for a vampire's kiss cart

i paid 89 euro and i thought it was a steal :P

with all these repro's going around, i opened up the cart and it has a "nintendo" print on the pcb board, so i guess mine is genuine 8)

The third and final game in the group of three I bought on amazon is finally here!

Posted Image

In case you cant tell what game it is (I don't blame you), it's Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude! Incredibly common game, but it was one of two Genesis games I passed up early on when I started collecting retro video games (the other being Decap Attack, which I also currently own). After ignoring it for a while, I decided to finally buy it. It was super cheap so, if I don't like the game, at least I didn't spend too much on it.

Post #5794 has gotten it's final update.

That's a somewhat unfortunate choice in label art. I mean, flesh colored shorts? Really?? But congrats for tracking it down and getting it in your collection. :yeah:

Ha ha ha oh wow! I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. In the game his shorts are a orange-red color. And it's not even like the label is sun faded or anything. That's how it was drawn.

i've done some research about fake snes / N64 carts and i have come to some worrying findings.

apparently you're not safe if the PCB board has a "nintendo" print on it. it could be the PCB board of a real, inferior nintendo game where they soldered a new chip on with the data of the rare game. apparently what you have to do is looking up the serial number of the chips, and if they pop up in the thousands it means you're screwed as you can buy these chips cheap from asia. they last only 10-15 years.

can't wait to verify this with my vampires kiss cart now. :(

guys, i dont know if this has been discussed yet but there are a few things to look at when verifying the authenticity of the guts of your game carts

i've stumbled upon some really revealing topics, and i've applied those marks to my vampire's kiss cart and with much relief i can report none of the red flags / smoking guns show up

I saw one of those korean versions on eBay a while back, today I sort of which I had bought it as I don't think it was priced too high. Mind if I asked how much you paid in case it was the same one? Sweet grab! :)

Whew! Talk about dodging a bullet! Just moments ago, I was wondering whether or not I should order that game for myself. I knew nothing about it, but the front cover looked appealing. Now I'm glad I decided to skip it.

Instead, I ordered two different games. Neither are very rare or pricey, but one I used to own before my PS2 scratched the disc up (this was before my brother and I repaired it) and one I've never played before, but sold me thanks to gameplay footage and reviews. Like last time, I'll show pics as they arrive.

- WWE Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain (with case and manual) for PlayStation 2
- Tecmo World Wrestling (cartridge only) for Nintendo Entertainment System

Decided to combine the last few pick ups all together.

Some imports, and a game i've wanted for a while (Saints Row IV), finally found it dirt cheap, so went for it

I've never played Final Fantasy X-2, and can't remember the first game at all, I'm yet to see if this was a good decision (I actually bought the limited edition, but the art book/LE cover was else where when I took that)
