My golden Japanese N64 arrived, today! It's so cool. It has a couple dinks here and there (the gold is sprayed onto beige plastic like OoT, so always gonna happen unboxed), but only if you really examine it. All in all, great condition for the price I paid. It was unboxed like I said, but came complete with matching controller! I was trying to decide which one of my N64s to keep out and use (as I now have two, the other a standard charcoal black US launch unit). I've decided that the launch US will go away into it's box (which I actually have) for safekeeping. It's very tidy, outside and in, and the most moddable. It has a very dark RGB mod currently, though composite and s-video work fine, so it's not a big deal (maybe I can find an RGB cable which amplifies the signal?). So goldy, instead of being sealed away, is going to see some serious use (launchy has been run into the ground for years by yours truly, so I guess she deserves a break). The controller that came with it is in great condition. The stick is the best out of all that I own. While I'm on the subject - tips for cleaning the inside of the console? I'm gonna give it a go over with the vacuum cleaner, any other things I should do? What's best for the cart slot? With golden OoT plugged into it, along with the golden controller - this console looks so badass. That's probably the real reason that launchy has been stowed away instead of goldy, to be honest. I just can't not have it on display, haha! Everyone in the house loves it, it's hilarious. It's had a good Mario Kart multiplayer session run on it tonight, and there were no issues. Three of us played it for two hours straight. Although it's kind of ridiculous, the golden N64 is the best one I've ever seen. Some of the Funtastics are lovely to look at, and I personally love the look of the original charcoal grey (elegant, one of the best looking consoles ever), but the golden one is just badass. It's had an undeniable effect on everyone who's seen it, today. It's like having a pimped N64. Love it. |

Brought harley's revenge for Arkham city (Xbox) DLC yesterday for £1.68. Wanted to play this for ages and its on sale at the moment so at that price it was well worth picking up. Gonna play it tonight.

The last item I ordered has finally arrived...and it's about time too!![]() No really. I don't mind the time it takes for my games to get here from wherever they're being shipped, but this cartridge has been sitting back (maxin' relaxin') at my local post office for two days before they decided "oh maybe we should deliver this one." But yeah I've already played a couple of matches and this game is a lot of fun. I like how a game this old actually has play-by-play commentary though it's tough to focus on that when I'm trying not to get caught in a piledriver. You can also rename the wrestler you're playing as and build up his strength through the training mini-games. Can't wait to keep playing and see how far I can get.Post #5847 has gotten it's final update. Edited by EnvyFox, Apr 16 2014, 04:01 PM.

Amen, brother. I hate that with a passion. Anyway, that looks like a fun game! I love Tecmo games from the SNES era.

Bought Lego Marvel again on Steam, I have it on PS4, but it was £3 on sale, and I couldn't resist, it's also a really nice game to have available to just download and play when needed. |

Totally unplanned, but I did some hunting today. Spend €15 on the folloeing items: - 7 Philips CD-i games. All complete except 1 - Titanic for CD-i - 2 PS1 games - Killer Cuts CD that originally only came with Killer Instinct for the SNES - A boxed Club Nintendo golden Wii wheel, with baggy around the wheel but without manual or stand. Not a bad day afterall I think |

It's some kind of interactive movie I think. Haven't been able to test it yet, since I do not have a controller yet. But I am wondering what it is exactly as well. To swim or not to swim, that's the question. |
