More censored??!? What the heck? And I thought Nintendo was the company to go around censoring everything! I personally like the fact that it's the same game... though it hardly matters, since I basically don't remember anything special besides fighting a giant pile of poo... and an insanely difficult "Saving Private Ryan" bit. |

^ It took me a good few tries to get through that bit on the N64. I've not got up to the Saving Private Ryan bit in the Xbox version yet, but it's that level that they used for the demo. The twin analogue sticks make it much easier. |

I just picked up the Yu-Gi-Oh Double Pack: The Sacred Cards and Reshef Of Destruction for the GBA. I'm probably selling my original "The Sacred Cards" with everything, including the original box. Not that it's in perfect shape, but it's a fun game, so... The sucky part is, the Double Pack is a two part cartridge(similar to how OoT/Master Quest was), meaning that I got to start over on TSC anyway. Other than that, I thought it was stupid for the Double Pack to only come with two cards. It should've come with the traditional 3 like all the other games, but atleast I was able to buy the final card to the ROD set. They're "Sage's Stone", "Dark Magician Knight" and "Knight's Title". Anyway, I can't wait to start. So much different, so little time. I actually have to take Shining Soul out of my DS GBA slot! |

I'm kinda toying with the idea of getting one of the Xbox BMX games... not that I'd have any time to play it whatsoever. Just thinking it'd be nice to pull off a tailwhip sometime without breaking my neck and/or every other bone in my body. Anyone have any experience with Mirra/Hoffman?? StYoung? I've read some reviews, so of course they're not as successful as the THPS series, but I've a feeling that the fact that I actually ride BMX will make up for that. |

One last post for the night (making a whopping two for today)... So my local shop didn't have the Xbox Dave Mirra... however they did have Matt Hoffman, Fable, and Fable: the Lost Chapters. So I ended up getting Fable: TLC, since apparently it's just an expanded version of the original. Is this right? Or are there some storyline elements that are present only in the first? Played it for about 20 minutes before schoolwork beckoned... outlook looks pretty good on this one! (Not that I'll be able to play it before my hair turns grey... or falls out.) I think I'll try to master manual-180s (in real-life) before splurging on "virtual BMX."

Yeah, that's right. It's an extended version of the original game, everything that's in the original is in here. The story is a bit short, but it has excellent gameplay (or at least I thought it did). The soundtrack is amazing too... http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks.php

It reminded me of 3D Zelda, minus the dungeons, cool bosses, and memorable areas. It is a pretty good RPG, though you should of got KotOR instead, |

It has dungeons (the hobbes cave?), it has cool cool bosses (Thunder and the dra... the last boss
) and it has memorable areas: all of them! And it's not an RPG, it just has some RPG elements.  See, now I'm mad... ish. Well, not really.

Yeah... I'm not sure how I'll turn out. From the little bit that I played, I was on the whole a good little kid, but with a hint of evil (I just HAD to punch that one kid!).

I just picked up the original Fable for the Xbox. I've played a little of Fable: The Lost Chapters and it was pretty fun, so it's been on my "to get" list for a while. It was only $10, too.
 Unfortunately, it will be a while before I get a chance to play it...

I've been wanting to get that game for a long time, except I don't have an XBox. I like the idea of completely free control(very few games have this) to be who you want to be. Most Dungeons & Dragons DMs don't offer this option. Yes, I'm sick of the usual Player Races. Those being Human, Half-Elf, Elf, Half-Orc, Halfling, Gnome, and Dwarf. Boring races. Being an Orc is pretty much the same as Half-Orc, with very few differences, none worth mentioning. A Dark Elf(or Drow) is one of the few chooseable other races, as is Fairy, in some cases. The only two that have beyond interested me(other than a Dragon-like Chimera, not a Hydra, so no extra heads appear, and since Chimeras often have 3 breath attacks varying for the heads, it works out best...yes, this is for Hydronix himself) are Succubus and Kobold. Succubus does take a lot of changes to bring down its Level Adjustment, and Kobolds are just a much weaker race. 3 Kobolds are equal to 1 normal character...but hey, it just means they're great as spellcasters...since they have a -4 to Strength! Yes, I gave all information out as much as possible since many don't know what DnD is. |

Crap, Baten Kaitos Origins is out?! Man... Last weekend I went pawnhopping, and I got the following: NES - Pinbot for $3 SNES - UN Squadron and Bust-A-Move, each $5, and also a 3rd party controller for $4. It turns out that Pinbot is a so-so game, UN Squadron is fun but insanely difficult, Bust-A-Move won't work, and the 3rd-party controller was worth $1 at most in the shape it was in! The real gems I got though were for N64, each for $5. Zelda: OoT (Gold copy! w00t!) Aero Guage 1080 Snowboarding Body Harvest <EDIT> Oh, you got Baten Kaitos @ alxbly? I love that game, down to the story, graphics, gameplay, and especially the soundtrack. It's my favorite RPG soundtrack ever. |

Yeah, I got it a while ago but I've still not played very much of it. Same with Tales of Symphonia... I need to go back to them, cos I'm a bit bored with shooters and GTA-style games. Chibi Robo was the last cube game I played. Have you played it? |

Chibi Robo is very good but not that long. Definitely worth a play, but might be better as a rental first if you're not sure. I think I've had about four avatars this week... but then I hadn't changed it for ages before that. What's Scarface like? |

Just bought Soul Calibur 3 for the PS2, sure it's for my brother's birthday, but I did buy it none the less. I was trying to get Shining Force Neo, but this was the only choice...at 19.98! No, I didn't buy it cheap because it was, but because it was the ONLY choice. Then again, Neo isn't like your usual Shining games, so he might be more happy with SC3. |

Thanks to everyone's demanding recommendations, I picked up a copy of Knights of the Old Republic for pretty cheap today. Thing is, I'll probably have to return the Xbox before I even have a chance to play it. :wacko: |
