Just picked up a couple of these. Now I need to find the clear pieces that go in them so I can make a cool display for above the two shelves I'm going to have for my wii u games.

I was busy doing my weekend shopping when i chanced upon a really tiny streetmarket / yard sale.
It didnt look very promising but i've learned that you can never tell and should always take a quick look on the off chance of finding something nice.
And guess what? I discovered a small stack of N64 game boxes!
A quick scan revealed a couple of potential buys in fair to good condition like Banjo-Kazooie, Yoshi's Story and DK 64
and a couple of other games with tatty / crushed boxes.
But when the seller handed me the carts, she accidentally gave me a Banjo-Tooie cartridge instead of Banjo-Kazooie.
"Ooh..that interesting... i don't suppose you also have the manual or box for that one?" i asked.
"No, they're all complete so the box should be there among the rest".
Yep, turned out i missed it... a beautiful box, complete with manual and pamphlets!
So i quickly dropped the DK64 from my selection and made her a reasonable offer for the 3 games and she accepted.
So now i'm the proud owner of a boxed Banjo-Tooie in very good condition for very little money.
The moral of this story? This kind of stuff is still out there, waiting be found by those in the know.

BTW: seller also offered me a neat Megadrive with a large (30+) collection of games but sadly i had to leave them behind due to budgetary contraints.

Got a few cheap game pickups at the local flea markets. Super Punch-Out was super nasty, but cleaned up well.

Decided to stop by a thrift store near my parents' house on my way home and found a stack of Sega Genesis games. Unfortunately, they refused to sell the games separately, so I had to buy the bad (as well as a double) along with the good. The stack includes:

- Urban Strike (might be my favorite in the bunch)
- Paperboy 2
- Zoop
- Columns
- Wolverine: Adamantium Rage (easily the worst in this stack)
- Robocop versus The Terminator
- Mutant Chronicles: Doom Troopers
- Animaniacs (the double)

Overall, a good buy in my eyes even though the condition on most of the cartridges are pretty rough. Robocop versus Terminator and Doom Troopers more than made up what I paid for the stack and, with the exception of two games (Wolverine: Adamantium Rage and Animaniacs), I had fun during the small time I spent with each game.

timesplitters: future perfect (NGC) just arrived in the mail!

at first flance, it has a mint disc with some fingerprints, that can be wiped off easily. so glad to have found a mint one! it's always wait and see with disc based games how they will turn out 8)

TSFP is getting rarer and rarer on the gamecube, and i see it steadily rising in price. seeing how it is the closest thing to perfect dark on the gamecube, imagine the price in 10 years time. this one will become expensive. grab it while its still within the 20 euro range!

Picked up some GBA games today for a total of €10;
Super Monkey Ball (game + manual)
Harry potter and the goblet of fire (cib)
Madagascar (cib)
Nemo (fake, cib)
Ice Age (fake, cib)
Ice Age 2 (fake, cib)

Going to sell off the fakes and make some of my money back. Still, €10 for the 3 legit ones is pretty good as well I think.

fom a local second hand site:

indigo gamecube with cables, 2 original purple controllers, 251 block memory cart: 40 euro
1080 avalanche (no scratches on disc): 5 euro

from a webshop: starfox assault pal (disc scratched but plays well): 39 euro

i cant stress enough how happy i am with the indigo gamecube. last time i had one in that color was in 2004 i think. it was a first owner, the gamecube is exceptionally well cared for. for that price, in that condition, with all the accessories i got, i think 40 euro is a steal

I hate to break it to you, but €40 seems a little high to be.

I had a indigo cube up online for a while locally and sold it for €20 since noone wanted to bit higher. This was with one controller and no memory cart. Those cost about €5 each, which makes €30 for everything.

On the other side. If you're happy with paying €40, it was worth it. No matter what.

On topic:
Got only 3 games while hunting yesterday;
- ps1 Army Men Team Assault
- ps1 MTV Snowboarding
- xbox360 Superbike 08

All for €1 each.
