I don't see the point in the emulation consoles, if you're using emulators, you may as well use a PC or something (I use a PS3 which has RetroArch installed on it, which is what the Retron stole it's emulation cores from)

FOr me its good because I can put away all those old consoles and use that in my bedroom. The PC is in the living room and gaming whilst the Mrs watches Eastenders isnt the best experience.

Does not compare to a $50 Tiger's GC (what does?), but a few recent pickups:

It's finally here!

I actually pre-ordered this back in late-May/early-June thinking that it was going to be released about a month later. And then E3 happened. <_< Oh well. I have it now and it's a real blast. It's going to be interesting to see how the duck and dog from Duck Hunt play once I unlock them.

I also went to pick up Super Smash 3DS, and I finally gave in and bought a 3DS XL. I've wanted one for a while since I like the bigger screens and I got the early Zelda 3DS (normal size) so it was time to upgrade. :applause:

Sorry for the bad photo quality, it was late at night.

Really liking the 3DS design and mechanics. But SSB isn't at much fun as I hoped. Let's hope cross-platforming it with WiiU makes it better.

With regestering a new 3DS system and SSB I got a free downloadable game thru Nintendo Europe. Went for Kirby Triple Delux. Really, really liking it!

A nice Club Nintendo item for "only" 2000 points (the Mario Galaxy soundtrack cost 3850 points!).
Immediately ordered it on release even though i haven't got the game (yet).
I just got this thing about soundtrack albums and rather buy something like this than some screen wipes or a notepad.

Just picked up a copy of Middle Earth - Shadow of Mordor on the PS4. Played a couple of hours and I haven't even scratched the surface on what this game has to offer. I'm looking forward to spending some time with this game :yeah:

I'm liking it so far mate. The nemesis system is a lot of fun. It's packed with content, plenty of side missions and is a fairly decent RPG. IMO obviously  :yeah:

Downloading Dragon Age: Origins for free right now on Origin if you use that service. I've been wanting to get in on the Dragon Age series (finally) and this seems a great way to start.

Very nice! At the Walmart I work at all of our copies were the Nostromo Edition so it might have just been a little perk for getting the game early. I want to get this game at some point.

Could be. I also noticed the box has text other than english. Bit werrid, but maybe thats why its so cheap. The standard UK PAL version only has English on the front and back. :eh:

Just got 3 goodies in trade for some points for some kind of promo I had laying around. So basicly, for free.

F1 Race + protector (Gameboy)
Hook + protector (Gameboy)
Gameboy Camera, Blue. CIB!

And,
Her soon is looking for some Gameboy games and she has 2 NES games I want. So maybe we'll do a trade in the near future.

Picked up a copy of NBA 2K15 today. Looking forward to finishing work so I can play it. Not looking forward to everyone selecting the Cleveland Cavaliers when playing online though. Man they've got a good team this season.

I think this says it all, about yesterday. Paid €9 for the PSP games, €7 for the Gamecube games and I'm not even gonna mention the other item. It was almost free (<€1).

I never find stuff like that for those kind of prices, well done :yeah:

My arrival today. Had some loyalty points about to expire from a gaming site so got this for 77p. Never been interested in this game but it was the best game for around the amount I wanted to spend and didnt want to lose my points.

It really is. I don't like using my points on downloads since i can always use money so I have like 900 points saved just waiting for them to put something half interesting in there. I got the ALBW posters a few months back but NOTHING else is worth ordering :(

OMG! I love those table-top games.congratulations on such a rare find, i'm jealous... please tell me you did not find it in the Utrecht region :)
And 1 euro really is a steal, i paid 2,50 euro for my boxed Snoopy table top and that's about my best find ever.
Does it come complete with the battery cover? That has a strong impact on the value.

Anywoo, i picked up this oldie-but-goldie Cube racer

I was shocked to see the NES 3DS edition in Canada. this was suposed to be a Gamestop US limited edition but I've seen one in Wal-Mart last week-end. I was like "what is this thing doing here ????"
