^ I recently bought Medal of Honor Airborne for the 360 because it was mega-cheap. And then I played it. And then I found out why it was being sold so cheap.

Yes, the game is hideous, isn't it??? MoH just seems to get worse and worse... :nope:

Has anyone gotten Fable II yet? If so, how is it?

Should have them both in the next few weeks.

Done a bit of trading today. I traded in three N64 controllers (ones I'd bough secondhand for refurbishment and testing but I never used them), an Xbox controller, Prince of Persia Warrior Within and Bloody Road (both for Gamecube and both duplicates), Medal of Honor Airborne for 360 (I can't believe how disappointing this game was, really wish I'd rented it rather than wasting money on it), some PS1 games (Sentinel Returns and Blade.... something I can't remember). Lastly, Excitetruck had to go, the controls had put me off playing it so I traded it. I would have liked to have time to get into Excite Truck but there's better games with better controls and better graphics... basically, I'd never get around to playing it.

And for that lot I have �40 of store credit.

Recently bought Mario Kart: Double Dash!! for the GameCube, I'm too curious to see how the series has progressed from Mario Kart 64 to Mario Kart Wii. Plus, the title has not one, but two exclamation points in it; more games should be punctuated accordingly!

Double Dash... it's been ages since I've played that game. I liked the whole swapping characters for different abilities thing, though, it added a bit more strategy to the game.

So far, the two-character karts seem rather superfluous. Of course, it will allow me to use both Toad and Birdo at the same time, so it's all good. :yeah:

...Why is Toad an unlockable character? That's just wrong, he's a starter! Anyways, I hope to try out the co-op mode with someone, it looks like fun. Though I think it's weird how it allows you to do some things that a single player can't do, like steal items.

Having a unique item for each character is an interesting idea though, it's too bad they didn't explore it further in Mario Kart Wii.

Hey! Four words: Shadows of the Colussus. I loved that game but I'm willing to bet that you've still not even played it. ;_;

Anyway, back to Dead Space. I've played the game for all of 20 minutes but that was long enough for me to realise that I wasn't keen on the controls (using the shoulder buttons to fire instead of the PS3's triggers... why?), that the control setup can't be changed :nope:

and that game has been more than slightly inspired by Doom 3. Which I liked. But Dead Space doesn't appear to be offering much that's new... not on my first twenty minutes of play, anyway.

Since then I've been distraced by other games...

Really good so far
Plus the art book i got in the collectors edition is pretty intresting

It will lose that status as soon as I get it probably :). I was looking for a used copy originally, just to play the game, but most used copies were more expensive than this one.

Add Shadow of the Colossus to that list and I think it's a very good list indeed ;).

I just killed the 12th colossus (without a FAQ this time! :)), only 4 to go :(. Amazing experience though, as I said already

Now that I have joined the next generation, many possibilities are open to me. Titles I want to get eventually include:

Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition (my PC ran it on fairly low setting, and I never played Shivering Isles)
Pure
Dead Space
Eternal Sonata
Bioshock
Resistance and Resistance 2
Grand Theft Auto 4

And that's not including upcoming titles such as Final Fantasy XIII, FFversusXIII, Killzone 2, and -- well, in short, the temptations for wasteful spending on my part are very high.

I bought Tales of Symphonia 2 for wii today. i haven't played it yet cause i'm playing chrono cross right now but i have high hopes despite semi low reviews. The first game was really cheesy but also really enjoyable. A little hard to take seriously though.
