I got a couple of Amiibo too. :w00t:

Already opened them up and quickly used them to unlock their corresponding race outfit in Mario Kart 8. Eventually I'll start training them in SSBWiiU. The Donkey Kong one is really nice!

@Kamikaze Awesome to see some retro gifts on Christmas!

@BDR Please give some impressions of Captain Toad when you get a chance. I've really been anticipating that one!

Amiibos continue to be popular it seems!

Here's what Mrs. Kart got me for Christmas. I'm quite impressed with the 2DS quality, and it's more comfortable than I had expected.

And with the Peach Wiimote, we've completed the set!

Welcome to the Super Smash Bros. fold, kartmaster! :yeah: Hit me up if you want to play as a team on-line.

That Wii U Pro controller is sexy too. Comes in very handy for Mario Kart 8.

Same look out for me online as well and btw I just got this today at eb games au because i like the design of this and looks good for a gc controller even it is a third party product and it is a official nintendo product tho. And this uses a wii remote instead of gc port.

I haven't posted here for a little while, these are two of our more recent additions. An NES Counter tester. I would love to get some more Nintendo Service Center items, but the majority of them are in the US, and trying to get someone to ship those items to Australia can be difficult.
Posted Image

Also, a Net Yaroze and the two software packs that were available for it.

@Kartmaster: My daughter and I played through the first few levels of Captain Toad this weekend. As you would expect, it is incredibly well crafted. The visuals, the courses, the enemies, etc. Each course is deeper than the courses I've played in NSMBU in that there are items to pickup and use, enemies to defeat, and an extra incentive on each course (like, finish, but don't cause the bridge to fall). Also, the menu layout is cool. It is in the form of a book, so you can go back and forth between new and old courses easily. Very happy with this acquisition.

@all: This is more of a confession than anything. I used some of my my free digital promotion eShop credits to buy Dracula X (SNES). I have a physical copy. I love this game (at least the parts I've played and beaten). The soundtrack is phenomenal. But I am not gonna lie, I need save states to beat this game. And that is my confession.

funny you should say that about the menu BDR, I heard it was badly designed. I plan on picking this game up and almost did the other day when I went sale shopping but the local game shop had it at £44.99. Thats full price and way more than I am willing to pay. I have seen it for £27 online so once it drops to around £25 thats when I'll pick it up.

Picked this up today, its game related so I guess it fits here. My wife got me the warthog for Xmas whcih I bulit yesterday, loads of fun so I brought another today.
