I got the first 2 waves of the Amiibo(18 pieces) (will post picture soon when I have a better setup ...), but shipping was horrible, some I needed to send Amiibos back 4 TIMES because Amiibos where damages or even OPEN.. ... because of terrible packaging.. each time I called to the supplier for a complained about the packaging, I received a "discount voucher" .. so this was stacking... and stacking... and now eventually I saved up enough to buy the 3rd Wave set for the price of 55 USD! ![]() Hope shipping would not be that terrible.... |

Are those the only Amiibo you could get for Wave 3? I thought Shulk, King Dedede, Meta Knight and Rosalina where in that wave as well. |

Today I went full reseller. Or well, most of it. Thrift stores got me (buys): A Donkey Kong DVD €1 (goes nice with my SMB3 one) Video Speedway Racing (CD-i) €1,50 Sega Dreamcast racing wheel €5 (original SEGA) 3rd Party Dreamcast wheel plus pedals €5 Sold: Loose silver Gamecube €5 PS1, Cables, Controller €8 3rd party Dreamcast wheel plus pedals €12,50 (pick up tomorrow) SEGA racing wheel €20-ish (pick up somewhere next week) Hate me for it. But I ain't leaving behind such easy money at a thrift store in a broke-ass Januari. Edited by Kamikaze, Jan 15 2015, 01:32 PM.

I've been giving my Vita a lot of love recently after a very long hiatus of almost completely forgetting about it. I loaded up on a few titles that came out under my radar

Nice one, Yogurt! I too recently picked up Tales of Hearts R... totally under my radar, probably because it's a retailer exclusive here in the US. |

I have never played a "Tales" game yet, but I recall reading about this one being a hard to find one so I was happy to find it at my local EBgames ![]() I can't wait to start Persona 4 as well, this is one that came in highly recommended from pretty much everyone i know! Only paid 14.99 over Amazon for this one so I couldn't resist

Haven't played the others... but Persona 4 is probably one of the best games available for Vita, and Project Diva is a great rhythm game, probably the best to be released in the west for a long time. EDIT: and a purchase I guess...

Got alot of stuff today for $200 bucks locally![]() ![]() ![]() Along with all this I got an N64 with all the hook ups and 2 controllers, a Gameboy advance SP with 30 games including Pokemon Fire Red and a NFR Metroid game, An Atomic purple GameBoy Color with 8 Games including Pokemon Silver, and The Jetsons Robot Panic which is a pretty rare Taito game on Gameboy. The Blister expansion Pak is probably the mintiest one I have ever owned, besides there is one small burn hole on the side flap, if this wasnt there id probably be sending this off to have it VGA graded. |

I rarely have good experiences when I buy locally. Sure I typically get great deals that are unheard of if you were shopping online, but typically I end up paying the asking price when I meet people. Well yesterday someone local had a Cpt Falcon Amiibo for sale. He was asking $25 which was fair for this specific amiibo, but it's still much more than retail. Before we met up he and I had a little conversation about F-Zero games and he could tell I was genuinely interested in the amiibo for my collection. When I showed up he took my $25 and handed me back the $5 and said $20 was good. I was shocked! He said he put $25 mainly to keep scalpers away. Sure it's a small difference from the asking price, but I feel like $20 is a great deal for an amiibo that will more than likely not see another printing. The small things are what restores my faith in humanity. I feel lately Nintendo has been letting us all down with all of their extremely limited runs on most everything they announce. Add on top of that all of the scalping that has been going around and all you get is annoyed collectors. That's what made that transaction more special to me. That, and now I have a CP Falcon Amiibo without paying out the wazoo. Feels great

Ive been looking to get one of these but just haven't wanted to pay the shipping for one, but I about lost my mind when a game shop about 30 minutes away had one for $30 bucks. Said some guy traded it in cause he accidentlly bought the wrong one and didn't think it would work on his american Wii U. Still brand new never even opened. Yet again I do have to say Japan got the better artwork like they always do!

My thoughts exactly! I hope he didn't really rip the guy off. I'm hoping he just didn't know, but I would put money on him knowing full well that they will work on US consoles. |

You would think he would know this, but at the same time why would he have sold it for retail if he knew that with shipping it would be over $50 bucks to get one in the U.S? Either he has no idea what it is so he just sold it at U.S. retail, or Maybe he had no idea as well that they work on U.S. systems and he ripped the guy off and then sold it for U.S. retail hoping to make a quick buck but if he knew what it was I feel like he would have charged more. |

I don't understand how you can accidently buy a Japanese controller anyways, even ordering online, most sites would mention its a Japanese import, and even if you did accidently buy one, you'd think you'd try it or at least Google if it worked or not before going to sell it I'm also not sure where this $50 price for importing one is coming from? I just checked with my importer and to get one sent to the US would only be around $20, $30 at most if you want it quick Edited by Matt, Jan 22 2015, 12:30 AM.

Posting an aborted FREE acquisition. My kids are big Disney Infinity 2.0 fans. Yesterday, I learned that Infinity 1.0 is available for free from the Wii U eShop. We have the base (works for both versions) and a few 1.0 figures, so I was pretty excited about this freebie ... until the download commenced. The file size is 9.2 GB!!! Had to abort...did not want to commit that much memory of my 32GB Wii U to a game I could buy a physical copy for (with figures) for $35. Oh well.... |

Get an external hard drive mate. Pretty sure my brothers got one. You can transfer games back and forth at your leisure. Eh, that seems really expensive still considering I just priced it up for 30 but oh well I can't get my Wii U working with any external hard drive, I've tried two although I'm not gonna try the third since I use it for my Xbox One and have all my games on there, the other two just stay on the formatting screen forever |

That sound really cool. What Amiibo does it come with? Got these today (see below). Bought myself the Sheik amiibo, seems to be kinda rare, and well, it's Zelda! My lovely girlfriend bought me the other two amiibo. Got the GBA game for only €2,99 in a pawn shop. All mint! ![]() |
