...Picked up Twisted Metal World Tour because the series is said to be good. I had no idea it was a valuable game (~€35)!
That game's value is pretty up there wherever you live at. Here in the U.S., a complete copy usually runs somewhere in the $20s.

Not that I'm surprised, though. It's my favorite in the series (out of the games I've played) and one I still enjoy today. Just be careful when controlling the cars. Even some of the more sluggish cars have poor handling. God forbid you use Mr. Grimm (who happens to be my favorite character  ).

On our local Craigslist-like site there were none for sale, so I had to resort to ebay. That gave a PAL lowest BIN-price of €30-35-ish.

Woah I've never heard of World Tour, even as a huge TM fan. I had all the TM's on PSone (or so I thought!...) but this one is strange, it looks exactly like the box art from Twisted Metal 3

That's just the name it was granted in Europe.

Ahh I kinda figured but didn't bother googling >_< That's the best TM in my opinion (though the PS3 TM is, for me, a close second). I loved wrecking the Eiffel Tower in Paris! 8)

Today I picked up the Elite Spyro Skylander from EBgames since it was 9.99 instead of 29.99, couldn't pass it up! What's awesome about the elites are they come in a really nice display case and feature much nicer, higher-quality paint jobs ^_^

Oh whoops! I thought World Tour was Twisted Metal 2 (it even gives it the "World Tour" subtitle in the main menu). Twisted Metal III is definitely not my favorite TM game.

You're right, EnvyFox. It is Twisted Metal 2. I thought I had included that bit of info but I guess I'm sleepwalking today. ^_^

Hey don't worry about it. You're not the only one who forgot to put down a bit of info. I completely forgot to post what I found today (well, technically, I guess now it would be "what I found yesterday"). I guess I should probably get some sleep after this as well.

Anyway, here are my finds:

- The Fairly OddParents!: Breakin' Da Rules! (w/case & manual) for Nintendo GameCube
- PlayStation Underground Jampack Summer 2001 (w/case & manual) for PlayStation 2 (demo disc)
- PlayStation Underground Jampack Winter 2001 (w/case, manual & order form) for PlayStation 2 (demo disc)

I was only able to test the Summer 2001 disc tonight, but the other two will get their turn tomorrow. The demo disc I did get to play is really awesome. All of the games on it (outside of Soul Reaver 2, which I didn't bother playing due to owning the full game) range from "pretty good" to "why haven't I bought this yet!?" My favorite game out of the bunch has to be Klonoa 2 and I can now see why many people love the series. Addicting stuff. Red Faction, ICO, Zone of the Enders and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy were also a blast to play.

Outside of a deal that may be happening soon, this will probably be the last video game hunt I go on for a while. Finding good games is great, but my money is really needed on more important things right now. That's life for you.

Who can spot the money maker in this lot?

Kula World it is. Didn't know it was valuable at all. Looked kinda like an early super monkey ball, so really picked it up to play. But great value to games is always fun.

New pick ups! Anyone bothered picking up these? Paid €8 for two of 'em and got the third s a gift fromy girlfriend. Keeping them sealed, don't even have the trapteam skylanders game, but I like limited editions. So here are Eastern Limited Edition Skylanders.

I picked up the easter trap thus far but I'm going to make sure pick up those variant weeruptor and Pet vacs real soon before they sell out. I sure hope to come across Blackout and Spotlight, too... They seem to be vanishing from the shelves within hours of reception.

What's great about the Skylanders figures is that you don't need to open them to play with them! You can place any boxed figure on the portal of power and you can use any still-sealed figurine as you wish, and delete all data from them if ever you want to get them back to factory default freshness! :yeah:

I think it doesn't work for traps, though

Woah that is a sweet-looking Tales GC!

I've started taking interest in Yahoo Japan auctions too, though I haven't really made any huge purchases from there yet. People have been telling me that buying from there is insanely expensive but that's total BS. My 50$ item cost me 54.50$ (not even 5 bucks of commission for the proxy site) plus the expected 15$-ish international shipping. Totally reasonable, and will definitely use again! :-)

Pending where you live YogurtStorm, some countries (like in PAL land) gets insane import costs from international orders. (like 21% + 17 euros in my care) you pay around 30-40% more then what you uactually buy for..

But in this case.. There are always ways to by-pass this system.

Ah, I see! Here in Canada we won't typically pay customs fees for international orders unless it's a product that's produced in the USA. Anything that is made in Japan or China is typically clear of custom fees.

who said that GC lacked third party support?

tomb raider for the gamecube in particular seems to be quite rare. it was released half a year after the other versions, at a time when the wii was already released. this game, is one of the last big titles for the gamecube ever released, in december 2006. it's a small miracle this title was even released at all since it was so late in gamecube's lifespan, and EIDOS wasn't exactly gamecube's biggest supporter. we have to thank the success of a certain lego game, for them to finally port it to GC after all. 8)

been a very long time since i'Ve bought a game but i've been looking to get thbis one from day 1 but couldnt justify the price new. I catched a very low price (13$) on amazon last week and couldnt resist. In fact, I also missed an even lower price (11$) the day before and im kicking myself for it, oh well. bought it for the pin mostly so i'll track down the physical copy one day or another.

Awesome, thank you! I don't quite understand the drop-down option, what is the difference between an ED64 that does and doesn't have the NTSC(CIC-6102) ?
