Okay, get this. This popped up on a friend's Facebook group. Bids starting at €125. He tipped me and we went head-to-head with one other guy. Spend €175 in the end. What did we get? The most important pieces are in the picture. But here's a list: - Nintendo 64 console with all hook-ups, jumper pack and a minty grey controller, - A minty clear blue-white controller, - A 4-in-1 NES Pirate game, - Mega Man 2 with manual (NES), - Darkwing Duck with manual (NES), - Super Mario 64 (CIB, picked up the manual and box a day later), - Gex 64 Enter the Gecko (complete, but missing inlay), - Donkey Kong 64 (CIB, near mint, with expansion pack and e.p. manual), - Zelda Ocarina of Time (CIB, near mint) - Zelda Majora's Mark (CIB, near mint) - Banjo Kazooie (CIB, near mint) - Banjo Tooie (CIB, near mint) Little calculation brings this lot to a value of about €350. Paid 50% of the real value, meeting my benchmark. Going to keep Darkwing Duck, SM64 box, Zelda MM box & Manual, Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie. Giving The Expansion Pack and the loose MM game to my girlfriend, and still should be able to make most of my money back! (about €140)

Yesterday i was in a shop that also sells vintage games and they had a boxed Majora's Mask in reasonable condition for sale at a mere 90 euro. GASP! It makes me wonder though... when i try to sell the same on an online auction i'd be lucky to get half of that. Anywoo... back on topic! Had a lucky find today with just the right mix of games for my collection and some solid resellers to recoup the investment. Four NES and four GameBoy games.. the NES Aladdin game is quite hard to find because it's a late release (1995) and the SNES had a different, prettier and better Aladdin game on offer ![]()

To be brutally honest, the chances that i will ever actually play this version are pretty much non-existent. I've already got a huge backlog of more recent and better / more interesting games that i will never get to play in my lifetime. But one of my collection goals is to get all the games that Rare developed for Nintendo systems. And the Gameboy version of Killer Instinct was still missing from my stash; i can only assume it did not sell as well as the SNES original. So I'm quite stoked about finding this cartridge "in the wild". Not so much that I'll be playing it though...

Woah, nice Aladdin! I knew it was a PAL exclusive, but 1995?!?!? Really?!?!? Wow. Think that is after Wario's Woods (which I thought was the last NES game, maybe last NTSC game) |

Actually, according to the database @ NintendoAge the Virgin interactive Aladdin was released in the US. The release date is a bit iffy ... wikipedia lists a highly unlikely 31-12-1994 date, other sites mention 1995. I'm taking a guesstimate here and say it was most likely released during the Christmas shopping season in 1994. That's one full year after the original Megadrive/Genesis release and two years since the Disney movie. |

Nintendoage is showing that VI's Aladdin was unreleased, and no other Aladdin for the NES (except for repros).

I stand corrected... I must have been confused with another version. well, that makes it even more interesting as there aren't that many PAL exclusives for NES. Quite a find at 2,50 euro ![]() |

Oh wow Vinyl that's really bad luck. But that seller is also a scumbag, listing his pristine stuff and then sending his worse condition doubles. On the bright side, these items are all extremely hard to snatch up no matter the condition. Hope this can be resolved. I have been sniping forever and finally managed to get a condition upgrade on my beloved "N64 Feel Everything I Love Techno Value Pack" It is almost impossible to find these and this one is in pristine condition now: ![]() And because it stayed in that hard Cover Box the console inside is absolutely stunning. It's NEW, there is now other word for it: ![]() ![]() ![]() This means of course that my old one that is a little beaten up is for sale now, incase somebody is interested. |

Another day of video game hunting is in the books. Here's what I bought: - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (w/ case) for Nintendo Wii - Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (complete) for Nintendo Wii - Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies (w/ case) for PlayStation 2 - Pac-Man World 2 (complete) for Xbox - Mortal Kombat Armageddon (complete) for Xbox I'm surprised MK: A is so pricey online (Xbox version only). It's not very popular with the MK fans I know and I'm pretty sure Midway made a lot of copies. Glad I found this copy at a Goodwill for peanuts. Anyway, Twilight Princess & Ace Combat 04 will be a blast to play with my friend once we're done with Ocarina of Time.

Bought Cube Life: Survival Island for the Wii U. It's the first Minecraft clone for a Nintendo console. With two kids clamoring to play Minecraft (on an Xbox no less ), and at the launch sale price $6.99, I figured we'd give it a go. We tested it briefly this week. Kids are really intrigued; I could not care less. Which is kinda my feeling about all games ATM not named "Splatoon".

Hey fellas, what better place to hit my 5000th post ![]() Just a recent update on some purchases. I got the add on "Left Behind" for The Last of Us During a recent PSN flash sale I picked up PlayStation All Stars Battle Royal, Little Big Planet 2, and The Walking Dead season 1. My daughter loves LBP of course. My wife and I had a blast with All Stars. I picked up GTA V a couple weeks ago, we gave it a run last night. I can tell it is going to be something my wife and I can play together and put a lot of time in to. |
