Some purchases since my last post in this thread... I've got some pretty sizeable vet bills coming up, so these may be the last acquisitions for a while... :-/

Also, a factory-boxed copy of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Collector's Edition... it wasn't taped shut very well, but still sealed.

And to paraphrase the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers "games will get you through times of no money much better than money will get you through times of no games" :D

Just asking, do you wait outside stores for hours? Amiibo are IMPOSSIBLE TO GET.
I camped outside mejiers from 10 pm till midnight then I went straight to Target and camped till 8 Am then went straight over to Toys R Us and waited till 10 A.M. I also had pre-orders from Best-Buy and Gamestop for a couple.

Picked up a Wii bundle last week. €55 for a black Wii with all cables, 1 mote & nunchuck and a box for a white controller.
And these games. WiiSports is not the one included, but my old one. The one included is in my box. Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort are both factory sealed. Xenoblade for sure is a first print!

There's a carboot sale in a field near my house every weekend, went there today and picked these up for £7. Mutant League hockey seems to be quite rare for the Megadrive so hopefully the manual i picked up will come in useful.

Hey nice Red!

I actually built my first desktop the other week and got almost the same budget mouse and keyboard combo! I went with the Cooler Master Octane and I love the look of it, I keep mine on red too since my whole pc is black and red themed! Great product for the price, build feels really solid!

I'm having a hard time posting photos on mobile, but I added two sweet pieces to the collection today! An incredible cartridge of Harvest Moon 64 and a boxed, as perfect of a box as I've ever seen, Star Wars Shadow. They were at a retro game store that recently opened in town and the prices were lower than eBay! I've never seen a brick and mortar have prices like this! I can't wait to go back often.

Awwww. I want Harvest Moon 64. :(

Awesome finds. I've played both games (own the latter) and they're both a joy to play. There's a good chance you're not willing to open that boxed SotE so, if you don't already own it, I recommend buying a loose copy. In the U.S., those don't cost much and it's definitely worth playing through. :yeah:

Do consoles count? I bought a Vita! And it's coming to my house tomorrow. It comes with Wipeout 2048.

Before considering on buying the console, I bought 3 games for it really cheap in different stores. A friend told me I really wanted a Vita but I decided on buying one a few days later.

I agree! I actually had the game when it was first released. My stepfather and I played constantly, but we never beat it. It took us months to beat the Boba Fett/jet pack/canyon level (we didn't have internet) and we never got past the weird octopus thing in the sewers. To this day, I've never beaten it!

Nice one! The Vita is an oft-overlooked gem of a handheld, in my opinion. And WipEout 2048 is STILL one of the best games available (easily the best racer) for it...

Thanks! The friend I mentioned has a Vita too (and I'm sure I convinced him on buying one XD), so I hope we will play together.

I hope it comes in excellent conditions (at least the pics looked great), since it cost less than half of what a brand new console costs!

Didn't get too much today, but here's what I came home with:

- PlayStation 2 Dual Shock 2 controller (black)
- Nintendo DS Lite carrying case
- Jak 3 (w/ case) for PlayStation 2
- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 (w/ case & Activision O2 ad) for PlayStation 2

So glad to finally own Jak 3. I've been wanting to play this since I beat the first two games last year. Also, I now own all of the Tony Hawk games that used the Pro Skater name (I think it jumps to Underground after THPS4).

Today's purchase:

Although I'm not a fan of futbol, the actual sport or the corresponding video games, I couldn't pass this up for $2. My Walmart still had two copies of this alongside two copies of FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup (which are supposed to be $5 but wouldn't ring up for that so I will attempt to snag one tomorrow for the correct price). I don't know how these games have laid around this store since '06 but my collection will gladly absorb them in.
