Decided to go to a different Goodwill today and found a copy of Resident Evil Zero for Wii. It's the same GameCube game only with more controller options. I hear this isn't exactly the best RE game, but it's one I've wanted since I was a preteen (maybe a little older) and I'm always glad to grow my meager Resident Evil collection. :yeah:

No pics at this stage but I've been buying a few games to add to my gaming collection:

-Lego Indiana Jones 1 & 2 for the Wii
-Resident Evil Code Veronica X for GameCube (sold my Dreamcast version years ago)

Also bought a few games I used to own on the PS2 before I sold it:

-Medal of Honour Frontline & Rising Sun for the GameCube
-007 Agent Under Fire & Nightfire for Xbox

It is weird how over the years anything I have ever sold I have always ended up buying back (more or less...)

We had a new guy start at my work a few weeks ago and I used the advice I have been given on here many times. Always tell people you collect retro... So he gave me this stuff as he was about to throw it out

Posted Image Posted Image

In the box is the console, 2 S type controllers and DVD remote. Not bad for free

Nice XBox dude.

Here is what I got this week:
2x Indigo/Clear Gamecube Controllers
I was extremely happy to find these, I didn't even know the two colored version had a own box in Japan.
They seem to come up very rarely, I've even seen more emerald blue ones, then this version...

And a Platinum Gamecube Wavebird Controller

Posted Image

I have a pretty trained eye and I realized these are in amazing shape.
I believe that all 3 Controllers are new actually. With the Wavebird I'm pretty certain, all CIB also.

Posted Image

These other two i am pretty sure they are new, can anyone verify the cabeling? Was there a baggy to the cord?

Posted Image

Posted Image

One of them is up for trade/maybe sell if someone is interested.

A couple of things this week:

A Manual for Mario 64 game
My copy was used and came without a manual.

Final Fantasy 7 on steam
I could write so much about the dreadful DRM / Always online nonsense, but its a great game and saves dragging out the noisy grey box to play it.

Lego Jurassic World for XBone
Not gave this a try yet. The other half loves Lego games, so waiting for her to fire it up.

Gradz skodathegreat with the manual!

Not many people are looking for "parts" to complete there games,

this is not relevanent but I`ll say it anyways, What is up with Xbone? I love the Xbox1 i think the controller is well designed, the games are good, the online things you can do is alot, well its big, but it has class,

I remembered at the first presentation of the Xbox one, right after it was known that the games where not tradable, and so on, and SHORTLY after thatsony applied that they did is anounce that the games are tradable, and more things Xbox did not support. (like choices on purchase with and without camera, the price, free stuff)
which started the hate for the Xbox. due "lack of things you can do"

I personally think that Sony added this statement STRAIGHT after Microsoft was done with theres, (and the same goes with the price, PS2 launch was 1000 usd, PS3 launch was 600 usd, so the "ultimate game machine" is by happen a full 100 usd cheaper then Xbox? Nah I don`t believe it I think the original price for the PS4 was also 500 usd but because Xbox came first, they did a quick edit, They did it as well with the Sega Saturn VS PS1)

Anyways...now that is out of my back, back on topic =p

@ Rocky, I know there was something on that picture! Marjoras mask on a .. black cartridge?

Xbox One stuff...
Yeah, completely agree with you. I wasn't really sold on it when it was released, but it was my choice of console as my brothers and friends had it.

I'm sure a PS4 will be a must have for me when FF7 is released.

It It is fun. Easily the best cricket game to date. Really good career mode, great game play!!

I'm a bit of a sucker for cricket. Grew up watching it from a very young age. It's funny how different we are country wise with the sports we most enjoy :D

Hey guys, I'm glad to be back!
I have gotten a whole lot over the past few months, and I couldn't describe it all but I am at 278/296 N64 games as of tonight.
Here are some highlights:
Got my most recent tonight. Earthworm Jim 3D
Posted Image

Almost all of the N64 games I have gotten while away:

Posted Image

Pickup from a fellow local collector who "must sell today" messaged me:

Posted Image
Posted Image

I didn't ever imagine owning Turtles in Time. I never found beat em ups all that appealing, but this one is pulling me right in! I couldn't pass it up in such good shape, so I went for it :) I also have a thing for gorgeous video game art!
Posted Image

And my rare additions! I had some seriously good help with these from an awesome local fellow collector
Posted Image

I've been buying everything locally lately. It's more exciting that way, and you meet lot's of great people! I highly suggest connecting locally. It changed the game for me in a big way. I've seen some of the most generous gestures go back and forth at these meetups and it really just takes the collecting scene to a whole new level.

Best of luck out there!

You can't play it yet anyways, it's not out until the 15th September. (totally suggest getting MGS GZ btw, it goes really cheap in sales and is the prologue to The Phantom Pain)

Ground Zeroes runs absolutely amazingly on my new GPU (60fps without dropping a frame on max settings at 2560x1440), so high hopes for TPP on PC.
