Nice! I've never played any of the N64 games (don't have much experience with imported games in general), but I own Custom Robo Arena and it's one of my favorite games on the DS. Here's hoping those two turn out to be just as good (assuming you plan on playing them). |

A slow day for video game hunting, but I at least ran into a game I've been wanting to play for a while now. For the record, no I am not talking about the Spider-Man plug & play though I'll admit that turned out better than I expected (for the most part). Nah I'm talking about Wild 9. I've sampled the game on one of the PS1 demos I own and wanted more. Unfortunately, I've read that the game isn't too popular with some, but I'm going to stay positive on this mainly because of that demo and because it was developed by the same people who made the Earthworm Jim games. On a side note, I am so happy to finally post actual pics of my finds again. It's a shame I didn't have this phone when I had my more awesome finds (original copy of Sid Meier's Pirates!, bundle of eight SNES games, ect.) but I'm sure I'll have more sweet finds like those in my lifetime.

So I celebrated my birthday for friends, two weeks before my actual birthdays (because of vacations etc). Had a great weekend, friday evening till sunday evening (with most people on saturday evening and a few people who slept here one or more nights). Might very well say it was the best birthday ever  The presents I got: The very first person to arrive on friday brought this custom made flask, because I like the more exclusive booze and it fits very well this the game room. Yes, it has my name on it, but I blanked it.  Some friends joined forces and bought this for me. I have been thinking about picking this one up myself, but now I don't have to anymore  Also, yes, it came in that Mario bag!  And at last, the present from my brother in law. I have been showing pictures of figurines from First4Figurines to him for ages, and he came back with this. Not one from First4Figurines, but still pretty *beep* awesome:

I'm proud to say I am now the owner of another sealed variant Shadowman with glasses it's going to go great right next to gauntlet legends.   Someone tried to backdoor me on it thankfully the seller was a stand up guy.

Nice pickup Conker. Glad you didn't get done through the back door. I just acquired Fighting Force on the PS1. Black label. Fond memories of this game. Give it a whirl tomorrow night. Love how cheap PS1 games are. N64 is so much more expensive! Much better though that is why.

I Just bought a JPN Mario Kart Pack. The pack includes a copy of MK64 JPN, with a black controller. I will post pictures when it arrives in half a month! |

Had a day off from work, so I decided to go hunting for video games and came across a childhood favorite.  Dragon Ball Z Budokai is that game. It was one of my friend's first PS2 games (he still owns that same copy) and we would play that game to death. Unfortunately, the copy I bought today (and Bully) didn't come with a manual, but the other two games are complete. The only game I am kind of worried about right now is Headhunter. People either seem to really love or hate the game, so I'm not sure what to expect. The gameplay footage I found online looked promising, though. |

Last color GameCube I needed, now I got them all. also the hardest to find... now I stop buying stuff for the next few weeks... The Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Limited Edition, 150 are made, never for sell. only to win in a lottery.

There are so many hand-made reproduction boxes on ebay right now, it's nuts. It's okay when the seller says 'reproduction' on the title listing....but what happens when a person buys it, hands it down to their kids, and they don't know any better, and try and pass it off one day as the real thing. It going to take a keen eye. |

Ah yes, I've seen those a bunch of times.....the age of repros is going to be scary in the future. That's why I say you should buy whatever you can now because you without a doubt know it's real. Many games are already plagued with this problem, like little samson. A lot of people are ending up with reproductions of these games. Sad. I'm going to go ahead and say that collectors are mostly to blame. They buy and sell repros regularly, and encourage others to make fakes as long as it isn't considered "black hat". The only repros that should be made are region specific, so that we can enjoy overseas titles. There's no confusion, because obviously with a bit of research, anyone can find out weather or not a game was released in their country of origin. Thanks for the comment Rocky!

I did indeed. I took that rough shot to the wallet. Now i'm selling a few things including a gold graded Mario 64 to soften the blow.  The manual will be a quest I hope I tell my grandchildren one day haha.
