A "few" purchases made since my last post in this thread... (September and October ended up being pretty spendy.)  First a slew of PS4 remasters/collector's editions...  (The box on the far right is a factory-boxed copy of Far Cry 4: Kyrat Edition.) A close-up of what's in the "Charing Cross Edition" of Assassin's Creed Syndicate (which, I think, was only available through the Ubisoft online store)...  ... and then some PSV/PS3/PSP/3DS/WiiU/X1 purchases...  ... and lastly, something that I thought was EXTRA special... the iam8bit Journey soundtrack on vinyl!!

Another awesome pickup DL! Just acquired my 68th N64 title. Bloody loved this game when I was younger. Never beat it though so will be nice to try and master this one for old times sake. Will have to go in the queue though. Just had a half hour blast on it, was good fun. Some awesome tunage for a game of it's age...

Went out video game hunting yesterday. After visiting the nearby Goodwill, all I came out with is this. A good game for sure, but a little disappointing considering I found a Game Gear during the visit before last. Still having time before work, I went to Value Village and could not believe what was sitting on the back shelf.  Yep. A second Game Gear. Two in a row! This one came with Batman Returns (a much better game than Sonic 2 in my opinion). I bought it in hopes that it was in better working condition than the one I bought two weeks ago. After work, I got home, took out the batteries from the first Game Gear and put them in the second one. And you know what? It's in the same condition as the first. Actually, it's worse as there's absolutely no sound coming from the thing. I even paid more for this one, so that definitely sucked. On the upside, it gives me a back up Game Gear to play once I can find someone to repair them both. Edited by EnvyFox, Nov 5 2015, 06:04 PM.

Bought the rest of the shelving for my movie room hung the tv now all that's left is a drop ceiling and a couch and we will be done.

Yesterday I picked up a lot of "empty cases and not working games" from a fellow seller I met last convention. Paid €15 for about 50 cases. After some polishing I got these games to work, or at least boot up without a problem. Some are still heavily scratched, some are pretty much new.  |

Sorry Kamikaze but the only ones that are left is the Watermelon and the normal grey one! and Cabanon, shipping costs me 240 usd I expected way way worse. financial-damage was ok =p Edited by Vinyl, Nov 6 2015, 03:31 PM.

Two Wii U adds: Black Ops was too cheap to pass up (under $12 shipped). I've been intrigued by Rodea, which officially goes on sale here in the states on Tuesday. The lauch version comes with the original, but unreleased, Wii version. The package is a collector's delight:  The gameplay, though, well, jury still out. Story is intriguing, the graphic are decent...but still trying to master/understand the controls. |

I paid $85 USD. I felt like it was not that much over the original retail price. I almost paid $99 for just the cart. Someone put this up while I was thinking about it. When I saw it, I violently pounced on it.

ASCII Controller #13. This is the very first known appearance of this color; Metallica Blue. ddrr2nite was right about 13 being an bizarre number of different colors. The total number now sit at 14. I'm only missing the Black one now and I have yet to see one in a year now. Last known is owned by ddr2nite. see here for more discussion about color variation

yep thats mine. I overpaid a bit in my book but thats just me being very cheap. I was septic at first since the color was unknown to me. i thought it was a faded swirl blue but nope, its the real deal. |
