Nice one Sublime get some pics up of the lot when it arrives! I have been on one or two sprees like that before getting a little trigger happy on eBay. Sometimes you go ages without seeing anything decent you want then they all come up for sale at once!

Your first N64 purchase since 2001 eh? That's pretty awesome. Are those all games you owned previously?
I still have all my games that I owned so these are all new to me games.

Well I've officially lost it. I just bought a few single games CIB, Turok Rage Wars and Waverace 64 then I went off the deep end and spent several hundred dollars on a pack of 30 CIB games that are hopefully in as good of condition as he described. I may need to lose my eBay login for a few days.
You just caught the collecting virus my friend. Better put a lock on that wallet!
Before his wife does! He said that she wasn't happy with his Paper Mario and DK64 purchase, so...
Haha yep. She isn't going to be extremely pleased. I am going to have to do something extremely good to make up for it.

Big chain store had a buy 2, get 1 free on all DVDs, series and games, so I went shopping with my girl.
I picked up South Park season 18 (@ €19,99) and Shovel Knight for the WiiU (@ €29,99). I was in doubt about picking up the 3DS version as well, but decided against it since it's pretty much the same game and I prefer the big screen.
So to make the deal happen, my girl picked up Fifa 16 (€49,-).

The best part? She paid this time!

And... later today I picked up a nice red 3DS for €30. Nothing fancy. Regular old 3DS with charger. But still good for resell to a local game store.

@Conker69: WrestleMania 2000 nice pick up. One of the better wrestling games on the N64 in my opinion.

Loving the new buttons buddy. Been meaning to pickup a set in that style myself.

My latest acquisition and probably the last for a short while. Had a mortgage offer accepted on a house so will be pumping a good portion of my hard earned income into real estate going forwards if all goes well. On the bright side - the long awaited games room is not too far away. Army Men Sarge's Heroes 2. Love the first one, only have the third in the series left to acquire. Loving the green cart - as stated when Spider-Man arrived - I love the different coloured carts, something we were deprived of here in the UK with the exception of a very few.

Yeah i love the design and I think I have to use it as my main controller but so tempted to leave it sealed. I got it from shopto.net.

Finally a working copy for my tiny but satisfying Famicom Disk System collection:

@Milage007: I've never actually played any of the army men games. Which one is the best? I totally agree though, I love the different colored carts!

@Culbert17 - I've only played through the first one Army Men Sarge's Heros and that's all we saw over her in PAL land (UK). I have only played this one for about 15 minutes but it was enjoyable.

Graphics do not hold up the best I.e when I was shooting an enemy long range it was quite faint and blurred (fog?) but I guess that should be a hint to use the sniper rifle. Sound is good - same dieing noises used as Mission Impossible! I don't have a CRT TV which would probably boost things. But the gameplay is fun and it's a nice looking game. Controls are fine once you get used to them. I look forward to getting the third and final Air Combat that looks interesting as well.

Glenn Plant has reviewed all 3 on YouTube - worth a watch if you are interested he has done shed load of others as well. I always watch before I buy a game I have never played on the N64 to see if I would enjoy it.

No need to adjust your screen, you are seeing double. I managed to pick up both versions of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for $12 total from walmart.com so I jumped on them. They both come with an exclusive soundtrack.

Awesome, TRS!
Do you think you'll leave one sealed and one to play, or not, just open both or keep both sealed?

Ladies and gentlemen, my first video game purchases of 2016.

Posted Image

"This sure beats spending $20 for the set at Walmart"... is what I would have said if I got what I paid for. However, upon opening the San Andreas case, I see this:

Posted Image

Two games and neither of them are the right one. One game (Def Jam Vendetta) is a game I already own complete and the other (MX Unleashed) was so scratched up that my PS2 quickly told me the disc was unreadable. Not that it mattered. Even if it worked, I'd still be unhappy that I didn't get San Andreas. I wish that place didn't tape their cases shut so that accidents like this could be avoided. Oh well. I'll be heading back there tomorrow to either get a refund or an exchange. Shame that my first vg purchase of the year turned out like this, but hey! Two out of three ain't bad.
