However, Mass Effect (360) and BioShock (PS3) both found their way into my stupid collection.
Why Bioshock for the PS3 when you already own the 360 version?
It was on saaaay-uhlllll... and my collection is stupid.

Can't remember if I've bought anything since my last post. I don't think so. maybe this month I'll try to save monies for once. :eh:
Now Playing: Clash Royale (mobile), Gravity Rush 2, Rayman Legends, Project CARS, Uncharted 4 Survival Mode ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

I got Oblivion GOTY Edition, Prince of Persia and Fable II (all for 360) today.

A friend who went to the UK bought them for me, taking advantage of the very low prices (at least compared to what we have here in Belgium) and the weak pound. I paid around 20 pounds each, that's €65 for all three of them - which is what I would pay for one of them here!

Anyway, I started Prince of Persia (fun) and Oblivion (and of course chose the wrong race to begin with - I chose a Wood Elf and then read the manual right after that to find out they're not good for anything...). I'll start Fable II some time later too.

Got my first new games this year; 007 Quantum of Solace and Wall-E, both for Xbox 360.

I also got the Fable 2 expansion, Knothole Island. It's quite a short expansion... dunno if it's really worth 800 points.

Not so much a game, but I did buy a PSP, and a game with it too, Legend of Heroes II. Fun game. Turn-based with movement(not as strategic as Shining Force) equals win.

Picked up Pure (PS3) today... and probably a few others over the last few weeks (of which I only remember World of Goo (PC)). Oh, and the new RE5 trailer left me no choice but to pre-order the sucker. Yes... the collector's edition version. And while I was at it, I went ahead and pre-ordered the SFIV equivalent.

I bought Liberty City Stories, to pass the time until my Wii arrives. It's a fantastic game; I think I might like it better than GTA III.

Got Xbox Live Arcade Compilation Disc (usually packaged with Arcade consoles). It's pretty good. Bought it for £6 and it's got five games on it: Uno, Pacman Championship Edition, Luxor 2, Feeding Frenzy and Boom Boom Rocket. :)

yeah, it's 800 points. From what I've heard it's quite short and can be completed in a couple of hours.

It feels different from the rest of Fallout 3 because it's quite linear. So... meh. :-/

I got a 512mb memory card for my 360 (second hand, only £9) and it's got Geometry Wars on the card. So I've been playing Geometry Wars... it hard, but good fun.

Also got Earth Defence Force 2017 today. I've not tried it yet.

Sold my Dreamcast with all the accessories and all my games for $25 to my friend. I was going to give it to him but he insisted on paying for it. I was aiming to clear off space and that's definitely achieved by that.

Probably going to pick up some Gamecube or Wii games next.

I bought the collectors fallout 3 today on xbox but its missing the bobblehead. What should i do.

I posted this on the xbox forums and not sure to on the bethesda forums aswell

me on xbox forums

I bought the collectors edition of fallout 3 today and there wasn't a bobblehead in the package. It says on the sleave that it has the bobblehead lunchbox making of and art book but ive unboxxed it and it has the game art book dvd and the packaging for the vault boy but it is completly missing. i am keeping the game sealed and only the tin open. i bought it from game in the uk. How should i get my bobblehead tomorrow im getting in contact with the shop and demanding a refund and should i find a contact for bethesda? My brother has fallout on ps3 which made me want the game so if its in the manual il get his.

That sucks. Sounds like it might have been returned to game but without the Bobblehead. Was it sealed? Reminds me of this:

http://xbox.joystiq.com/2009/01/26/walmart-sells-boy-redneck-version-of-madden-09/

I'd go back to Game and demand you money back, or a bobblehead from another edition. Good luck with that. I HATE Game, and will only use them if I really have to or if they have an exceptionally good game offer. I returned two copies of Viva Pinata to them and the store manager fed me a bulls*** line about the game not being compatible with some xbox's. However, I bought the same game from a different store and it works fine on both my 360's.

What pissed me off is that the Game store manager tried to bulls*** me then refused to give me a refund (I eventually got a store credit voucher). Why couldn't he just admit that they'd received a batch that had been mispressed? Total dicks, the whole lot of them.

yeah im going to go down and try not to swear it was fully sealed. i got screwed over the gta iv ltd edition but my brother was going to get it for ps3 and i payed him the extra for the ltd stuff. im demanding a excange and going to a diffrent one closer to my house since the guy was already a dick to start with he put the game on the shelf just before i was going to buy it but it was fully sealed but the one im going to most of the members of staff are helpful and care about customers. good job i didn't buy the dlc straight away like i was going to/

^ Glad to hear everything has worked out, Spikie. :)

I got Turok for Xbox 360 today. I was quite underwhelmed by the demo, let's hope the game is better.

I've never even heard of Dakar 2, yet now I'm strangely interested in the game. Hm...

Yeah it sold really badly so most people missed it. But it really is quite an accomplished game. :)
Strangely, I've played Dakar 1 and Dakar 2 and Dakar 2 certainly has more going for it than the first game. Over all, I find it an extreme simplification of the Paris Dakar concept, but it's very accessible. I just wish it had that GBA link-up co-driver that somehow I always thought it had...

The C-stick gear shifting is also very original. Pretty cool game, I'd say. :)

Yeah, Dakar 2 is on my list, I'll probably pick it up eventually, especially if I can find it cheap since nobody's heard of it. I need more GameCube games!

Anyways, recently I bought Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for GameCube. There are plenty of sealed copies on eBay so I figured I might as well grab one, even although it is the Player's Choice version and has that broom-ugly yellow label. I'm not really a fan of Paper Mario on N64, but this game looks to be a little better. The fighting system is still a bit too simple, although at least there are still a few new bits to it. However, the random events caused by the audience are pretty annoying. Like the first game, the writing just isn't very clever; it's like the game is winking at you the whole time, like "Hey, that's funny, right? Did you see that? That's a good one!" There's also way too much dialogue, everyone chatters on endlessly despite having so little to say.

I wasn't hugely impressed with Paper Mario, but I loved Super Paper Mario on the Wii. They do need to work out the 3D space on it because it's quite barren. If they put more stuff, it could have been really amazing.
