Latest pickups. I still have my PlayStation Ferrari steering wheel from back in the day and no decent racer games to use it on so I thought I would buy the Gran Turismo games (ever so cheap) in case anybody ever wanted a steering wheel experience in the family. Also, picked up a complete copy of DK64 NTSC - woo yellow cart. It comes in great shape with all the paperwork including expansion pak leaflet. No expansion pak but I was aware of this and got it cheaply as a result. I have a question though, where would this usually go? The box says expansion pak included. On the PAL version the box caters for the pak and tool into the design of the cardboard insert. This box however is built in (classic NTSC style I have noticed). If bought new would it just have been in the other side loose in a baggy or am I missing something? Just interested as I thought about adding the pak and tool in so it is 'complete'. Answers much welcomed.  Game on. |

Lots of great stuff here, congrats everyone.  The first three issues of NGC magazine (what N64 Magazine became). I owned all of these at one point, I was so pumped for the GameCube and it didn't disappoint. Darn it, we need a GameCube smiley here! Driver 1 and 2. I never realised how close to GTA3 Driver 2 was until recently. Very keen to play this a bit more. What it does is amazing considering when it was released. Burnout and Extreme G. Rebuys for GameCube, had both and regret selling them. Assassins Creed IV was going cheap on eBay so picked it up. Titanfall was only £8 in Game, at that price I'm willing to give it a go. :). And Back to the Future was highly recommended by floorcat which is more than enough reason to give it a try. Edited by alxbly, Feb 4 2016, 03:48 PM.

You missed that note?  Somehow there are a lot of good deals now. On one hand people are somewhat broke from Christmas etc, and people are cleaning out their houses. Both result is good deals I guess |

turok evolution (gamecube): can't have a nintendo console without a proper turok game. man does this look colourfull and vibrant on gamecube. I had it on PS2 but the colours looked washed out and it had bad framerate. the GC version corrects those issues. currently my favorite FPS on gamecube. you can't beat having dinosaurs and badass weaponry. better than the MOH series or even timesplitter series (which were a bit of glorified multiplayer games) N64 modded PAL S-video cable: this has yet to arive in the mail, but i'm hyped up for it. this cable (from rob webb) promises true S video for PAL N64 and i have heard lots of great stuff about it. Wow. Awesome finds, everybody. It looks like Spring cleaning has come early for some folks, huh?  Anyway, five minutes before I had to be at work yesterday, my favorite cashier saved what would have otherwise been an absolutely terrible day for video game hunting. Spoiler: click to toggle A nice little boost to my GameCube and Xbox collection with what I hope are quality titles (thry all checked out on my little play test). Knights of the Old Republic II was an upgrade buy since the copy I bought last year came with the case and manual of the first game. I also already own the Xbox version of Soul Calibur II... but that version didn't have Link as a special guest character, did it?  All in all, very happy with my purchases and am, once again, extremely thankful for knowing a cashier that gives me the hook ups. Prices: Spoiler: click to toggle

@ EnvyFox Some really nice finds there on GameCube and Xbox. The GameCube version of Soul Calibur II was the best, IMO, Link has great moves and fits in nicely. He ended up being my favourite character in the game.  If you find you're not taken with Shenmue 2 you could probably resell it for more than you paid for all those games!

So I wanted to get a copy of Lego City Undercover for the Wii U. Looking all over the prices were still at brand new prices. So I found a 3 game lego game lot for just a bit more than the LCU would have cost on its own. So on there way to me is copies of LCU, Lego Batman 3 and The Lego Movie game. I'm looking foward to playing some lego action

For some reason, LCU's price has always been high. I think it's a combination of supply and demand (b/c it is apparently that good). Nice acquisitions, that is a great deal. From a collecting standpoint, games like LCU, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2 (with 1) and Devil's Third, make me suspect that Wii U games will present a bit of a challenge. Between relatively low quantities produced and Wii U customer loyalty (and enthusiasm), the second hand market may become one of the more pricer modern systems to collect for and possibly the most pricey Nintendo one. But time will tell. |

A friend of mine does house clearances and every now and then comes around with stuff for me to look at. Paid around 0.50p a game which was a little more than I wanted to as a lot dont have manuals but last time I got a really good deal so dont mind paying a little more. In the future i'm sure they're be better deals to be had

I keep thinking the same thing. I've been debating trying to pick up a Wii U but I keep backing out. Also looking at Majora's Mask versions of the 3DS lol. I really do have a problem. |

I finally got a retail N64DD in good condition for a good price, it came with a really rare gem as well (Doshin Sample, aka Doshin the giant NFR) It even came with a manual with matching serial numbers... A new console has joined my ranks!   No big deals this time (outside of WWE 2K16 + Season Pass), but having so many 3rd party games pass by the Wii U pushed me to want a second system and the Xbox One, with it's Rare Replay, won me over the PS4 (to my friend's dismay). I can also start buying WWE games again without dealing with the inferior Xbox 360 port. The only thing that I didn't like was that the system only uses HDMI cords, which forced me to buy a new TV. Well I supposed my two CRTs were a touch bit outdated.  Anyway, I'll be spending the rest of my night having some fun with WWE 2K16 and let Rare Replay (my free game) install itself while I'm at work tomorrow. That way, it's hot n' ready to play when I get back. Prices: Spoiler: click to toggle
