@ Bamboozled Are we friends on Xbox live? If not send me a request.  I've been buying a lot of Nintendo recently:  I've wanted Cubivore for a long, long time; I remember reading about it when it was Animal Leader for the N64. And it still looks like a N64 game, minus the blur.. The Action Replay was essential, not becauseI want to cheat particularly (although infinite ammo and lives is always fun! ![>:-]](http://b1.ifrm.com/7061/77/0/e20836/e20836.gif) ), no this was really bought for the Freeloader function so that I could play Cubivore on my UK GameCube. Bust a Move 3 DX and the Nintendo 64 were both buys from a charity shop, the game was £3 and the N64 was only £25. If it was anywhere other than a charity shop I may have tried haggling but that price seems reasonable when the money is going to a good cause. Bust A Move is in good condition, it and barely played. The N64 has had a rough time; there's some scratches on the console and the controllers analogue stick felt rough. I've cleaned and refurbished both now and they look and feel a lot better. The console came with a manual, a RF lead and switch that I'm probably just going to throw away (PM me if you live in the UK and want me to send this on to you free of charge ), also a PlayStation RF that I've already thrown out and a Banjo Kazooie instruction manual had been thrown in. Nice. The box for the console has been dropped at some point and is quite damaged on one side. The previous owner tried to fix it with brown parcel tape, which I've very carefully removed. I might try to reinforce it with cardboard inside. The refurbished N64 is going to be my regular play N64, although it's a little scuffed the connectors are still tight so I don't think it's been played with all that much. Oh, and there was a GB transfer pak in the box too, but I've still got to give that a clean. All in all though, not bad finds this week.

Okay, redo on my first physically acquired PS4 game(s). Awhile back I showed off Dishonored: Definitive Edition but that one is no longer in my grasp as I returned it after reading some mediocre reviews and since I already own it for the 360 I let it go, for now. I'm now merely days away from getting a PS4 and these two cheaper priced games are my new official first games I have in hand. Only $20 and $13 respectively:

Collecting does not end there! I got a Nintendo 64 Pokemaniac console from Australia in a trade, it is CIB including the Nintendo promo tape. a Hanshin Tigers shirt+ store bag that originally came from getting the Hanshin Tigers Gamecube. (it was 8 usd lol) Now this is complete. and finaly, a real Virtual Boy baseball cap! Only given to sales reps when the system was first released. it was a bit pricy but heck, it's history! Now I need the shirt.....!

Got a couple of things to share this time. This first one was something I bought almost a week ago and just totally forgot to post it here. Nothing too special here. Just found this Sims 3 expansion for cheap and picked it up. Now my Sims 3 game will be bigger than ever (whenever I get my computer fixed). And now, the stuff I bought on Saturday.   Now that I've bought the last of the three Xbox One games I wanted the most, I probably won't buy another for some time unless I find a good one for cheap at a pawn shop or something. Also, very happy to finally find a Portal of Power for the Nintendo 3DS (even though I'm still one Skylander short of playing the game) and a High Frequency Genesis controller that actually works properly. As for the Xbox controller, the A button doesn't click like it's supposed to and it looks like someone let their puppy teeth on the control stick, but at least the games read the inputs. I actually got a $1 discount on it because the cashier didn't see the actual price on it and assumed both controllers shared the same price. Overall, very happy with my purchases. it's one of the better FPS's on the PS3. only topped by goldeneye reloaded and 007 legends (those two had classic health and armor packs as option). what i liked about it: definately the fact that the game doesnt take itself serious. it doesnt want to tell a big cinematic story with endless dialogues. it's just good old fashioned "man's humour" much in the sense of the first predator movie. it doesnt hurt being a fan of that movie and its dialogue, to be the perfect target audience for this game. some of these lines and situations genuinly had me laughing my socks off since they were so bad they became funny: Spoiler: click to toggle low points: regenerating health, two weapons limit (but all weapons are readily available on the ground) and maybe a lack of enemies to shoot here and there. high points: the humour, the pipe bombs, and the babes (just dont let your girlfriend see you playing this game lol) |

We got this N64 console in the mail today, purchased from Japan. We bought it because it looked a bit different. I'm not sure where it came from. The images on the box are printed on the box (front and back, and on the sides), it is a glossy box and print, and the foam insert is cleanly cut. Not sure what the sticker on the front means, but there is no other text on the box. It came with the usual cords/controller separately.   |

Picked up this little lot for €15. Why? Because... console! The console is very clean, but missing the AV cable (I have spares) and expension lid (so I'll order one off eBay). The controller looks like junk, but actually has a very good stick! Pokemon Snap is just a trow-in extra.
