I absolutely agree with Milage, the DKC games are top notch! Also look at Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG, etc. etc. etc. So many classics.
Thanks for those ideas! :) They are all on my list!

Hit the jackpot this weekend and got some great finds locally. First for the N64, I finally found a great condition copy of Quake II (loose cart), one of my favorite shooters on the console. I have also been looking around for a Tremor Pak Plus and finally got one. While I already own 4 first party Nintendo Rumble Paks, I wanted the Tremor Pak Plus because it allows me to use a rumble pak and memory pak simultaneously. So far, I love it but I need to clean it because its having trouble reading my memory paks. Rumble feature works great with a high/low setting and no rattling.

I was also able to snag my hands on a Sega Dreamcast that is in great condition. The plastic is nice and white with no yellowing. Came with all of the cords and a controller, but I bought an extra controller to go with it. I also picked up the only 2 white VMU's they had (though I need to replace their batteries because their both dead), and a copy of Roadsters (which I'm still looking for for the N64  ). I've had a Dreamcast on my radar for a while now but just haven't found a deal that could make me pull the trigger on one. I got all of this for a heck of a deal so I'm very happy with it and I love being able to experience a console I have never played before, ever. SO EXCITING!! :w00t: Now I need to go find some good Dreamcast games! Any recommendations?

I don't have a Dreamcast, but the Sonic Adventure games seem fun...

My birthday party was yesterday, and I got some awesome SNES games! :D

@bamboozled as far as I can tell, the only difference is the box. Blockbuster wasn't given the toy inside the box because it wasn't necessary as a promotion. This box is VERY sun-faded, but I got the game and box for only 15$ shipped, so I wasn't complaining too much. :)

Very nice Dreamcast pickups! I'd definitely recommend Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia and the very unusual Seaman. Also, the Dreamcast got a lot of nice ports of games that I originally played on the PlayStation like a couple installments of the Tomb Raider franchise, Resident Evil (including having Code: Veronica first), Vigilante 8, Alone In The Dark, Dino Crisis, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Shadow Man. Then there are the Sonic Adventure games and Crazy Taxi. Tons of good stuff for that system.
Forgot to show off today's arrival, the first of my pre-ordered from Amazon PS4 games:

So excited for this! Baseball is my favorite sport and this will be my first taste of it on a current gen console

Here's a couple of additions to my game collection.

I actually bought the Soul Calibur IV/Tekken 6 combo last week, but forgot to post it here. It's great finding this since I used to own both games separately. Tekken 6 was scratched beyond repair after I let someone borrow it (they let me keep the game I borrowed as an apology) and Soul Calibur IV just disappeared. I seriously have no idea where it went though I know it isn't in my current home. Now I can get back to both of these great fighting games.

Red Steel 2 was something I picked up yesterday in order to make some change. I was thinking about getting the first game as well due to nostalgia (it was the first Wii game I played outside of Wii Sports), but overwhelming negative reviews about it's controls made me reconsider. The sequel got a much better reaction and I can't wait to see how it improved for myself. I don't have the means to play it now, but that might change by the end of the day.

Picked up 2 more VMU's for my new Dreamcast. Now I have all 4 (with 4 controllers). I just need to hunt down some jumper packs as they seem to be harder to locate.

Also got a great deal on Killer Instinct Gold and Gauntlet Legends, which I have been looking for for quite a while. Funny note, for some reason I couldn't get Killer Instinct to work and I was getting really frustrated. When I turned on the console, the screen would go black like it was getting a signal but would never get any video or audio. I even took apart the whole cart and cleaned it... still didn't fix it. I went digging and found out that Killer Instinct is incompatible with rumble paks. Meaning that if a rumble pak is inserted, the game won't work. I took it out and vola! It fired right up. Weird....

Remember to unlock those VMU's extra blocks if you need more space!

I need to try KI gold sometime, never was keen on the original but i've been getting really into the new one lately.

Unlock what extra blocks?

This whole VMU thing is very new to me since I've never owned or even played a Dreamcast before. I know they act as a memory card, thats about it.

Here's a tutorial I found quickly on google
http://www.retrocollect.com/Guides/guide-expand-your-sega-dreamcast-visual-memory-units-save-game-capacity-by-an-additional-44-blocks.html

Basically just gives you a little more room, it won't save you buying new VMUs, but every little helps.

Although I'm not a Rock Band/Guitar Hero fan at all, I couldn't pass this up at $5. Its just another collection filler but it takes an old game that was marked way down today out of our inventory at work.

If you're a Beatles fan and have the instruments (or even just a USB microphone works for vocals), I really suggest playing through it even if you aren't a RB fan. The game is put together incredibly well and i'd call it a must play for fans.

Today I managed to find a Jump Pak for the Dreamcast. First party are a lot harder to locate than third party :nope:

Also FINALLY got Banjo Kazooie. I feel like its taken forever to get this game. So far I've played through to the first level and loving every minute of it (keep in mind I've never played this game before). This is a great Rare game! Definitely one of the best games in my collection.

I always loved the NFS Underground series, especially Underground 2. I thought that was pretty much the best NFS game made. I'm curious to see how Rivals is.

Midway Arcade Treasures is also a fun series. I have Treasures 3 (with the all the old racing titles) and it is awesome. I love being able to play the arcade version of Rush Alcatraz and Offroad Thunder! :yeah:

Yeah I enjoyed the nfs underground games too. Had a very quick go but nothing to give an opinion on yet. The midway game has MK1-3 so that's what sold it for me but has loads more I'm looking forward to trying out.
