@buddy1983 - I just picked up the Midway Arcade Treasures Extended Play compilation a couple of months ago and it's great fun. Unfortunately, the ports for those three MK games aren't the best way to play them as the gameplay is slower than the arcade original (or most home ports for that matter). Still, at least they don't have input lag like the SNES ports and I still have my fun with 'em. Well... not so much MK3, but only because I own MK Trilogy for N64. Anyway, here are some recent finds. ![]() ![]() Finally got myself a Wii Motion Plus after all these years which means that games like Wii Sports Resort and the previously purchased Red Steel 2 are now ready for play as well as any other games that require the device. No grip on it, unfortunately. Also bought two games I had my eyes on for a few days now. One completes the Marvel action-RPGs developed by Raven Software (Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 was developed by a different company) and the other is the second Virtua Fighter game I've ever played. VF4 was the one I wanted most due to nostalgia and hearing how much content was in the home port including a special update of the first Virtua Fighter I've ever played... Virtua Fighter. I also reserved a copy of a certain game that I'll post a pic of once it's in my hands. Prices: Spoiler: click to toggle

What was the difference between Black Edition and the regular game, other than the case? Did you get extra cars up front? |

Nice pickups, Tofu! I so want to get a SNES again. I need to think about doing that this year. Also, I never knew there was a Smuggler's Run game for the GameCube. I've learned something new today.

![]() Milo's Astro Lanes 64 PAL CIB is sealed Ken Griffey Jr is a 7.5/10 CIB For Milo's Astro Lanes the shrink wrap is warping the box pretty badly. Here's a question for you all - would any of you take the cellophane off to preserve the shape of the box? I'm happy with it either way as Milo was a tough one to get!

Here's some more recent video game finds.![]() ![]() I'm not too happy about Monster Lab. I was led to believe that it was an action-RPG. Nope! It's turn-based. I'm not a fan of turn-based games, so I basically bought myself a drink coaster. But the other three games are a lot of fun! Eggs of Steel (the gane with no front cover) has some questionable controls l, but I got used to them fairly quickly and enjoyed the humor it had. And, of course, I couldn't wait to beat Bust-a-Move '99.

Yah, its a direct port of Smugglers Run 2 Hostile Territory on the PS2, except it has 4 player multiplayer! Also if you plan on getting an SNES, do it soon. The prices are getting crazy on these things and its only getting worse...

@Intendall. Holy crap that is a lot of good stuff right there. Nice score! So I picked up a few more titles for the SNES today. I was using an RF adapter but the picture quality was terrible so I got some AV cables. And I got these games: -Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest -Judge Dredd -True Lies -T2: Judgement Day Donkey Kong is amazing as usual, but still need to get 1 and 3. Also need to replace the battery as the saving feature doesn't work. Judge Dredd is surprisingly really fun and well made... I didn't have high hopes. True Lies too, because of LJN, I thought would suck. True Lies is actually amazing. It is so much fun that I just put an hour into it and I will continue on it this evening. T2 I will be returning to the store so I didn't take a pic of it. This is also an LJN game but it is god awful: controls, gameplay, everything. I played 5 minutes and shut it off.

Thanks @BDG and @Tofu, it's been a successful Saturday! @Tofu, you've had some great pick-ups yourself recently. I haven't ventured into SNES territory yet, N64 is large enough mountain for me just now. |

Nice! I recently got a SNES as well for my birthday. I hit the jackpot earlier today at a retro game store and picked Super Metroid, A Link to the Past, and Super Mario Kart. I also managed to find Mario Kart 64, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and I finally got a rumble pack! Sadly, I am now out of birthday money... |
