@Karsty Wow I'm jealous. You have some great games there--all on my list to get for the SNES. Looks like you hit the jackpot! Oh, and you'll love the rumble. I always use mine! I actually have 5 haha. 4 first party paks for multiplayer parties and 1 tremorpak plus I use for myself so I can do rumble/memory simultaneously. |

Got some more games added to the collection. Looks like I did something I said I'd never do again.![]() ![]() Yep. Loose discs. Why did I get them? I'm not entirely sure on that one but, if I had to guess, it's probably because the cashier of that pawn shop had no clue that five games were crammed into a case for a completely unrelated game and I ended up paying the same price as SCIII for the five. Unfortunately, Tekken 4 is a duplicate and Yu Yu Hakusho: Dark Tournament is pretty bad for a fighting game (that series could never catch a break in the video game department, could it?). Still, Shaolin Monks and the two Naruto gakes seem to make up for it. And they won't just be out and about all willy nilly as I still own that official PlayStation binder from way back when. As for Super Mario Galaxy 2, I got lucky there too. Apparently, the guy putting up tags put the wrong price on the game. When the cashier rung it up and saw the correct price, he decided to instead honor the price displayed on the Wii game shelf. It looks like I get to continue through Mario's space adventures after all. My good luck with purchases actually spilled over to the next day, but that had nothing to do with video games. I didn't even buy it for myself. A good friend of me wants the complete series for his son. So I'm going to double my money on it and sell it to him for €1

Had a few days away with the family and on the way home I went game hunting. Found a nice little retro shop and picked this lot up. Could've spent hours in there and a lot of money. Prices weren't great but could be worst, they were willing to haggle which is always a plus

Three new additions to the collection. I actually have completely different opinions on what little I've played of each game, too!![]() God of War II looks like it's going to at least be as awesome as the first game. It did glitch up on me on the very first screen, but a quick reset later and I was cutting down the fools trying to attack me. It even came with that bonus disc, so that's pretty cool. Truth be told, I only bought Sonic Chaos because I didn't own it in any form, but this one actually seems... okay. Well, more okay than Sonic 2 on Game Gear, anyway. It still doesn't touch anything on the Genesis and still has screen crunch, but I guess the levels were better designed to compensate for it. Taz-Mania is a mistake. That's the nicest thing I can say about it. I thought this was going to be a port of the Genesis game (which I've heard all sorts of opinions on), but this is an entirely original and badly designed game. When players have a tough time figuring out how to survive the first obstacle in the game, you've got some serious issues. Curse you, Taz-Mania... and your 50% discount. sorry to hear about that poor T2. it's the black little duck of my collection. i want to like it so much but this game makes it almost impossible to do so. 5 minutes you say? wow... then you havent even seen the worst part of the game: the mind killing driving levels. I want to like it though, i'm going to put some more love in it. i'm too much of a terminator / robocop geek to give up yet

Yeah baby!! Star Fox Zero w/ Guard. Just arrived. So far, I actually like it. Yes you can't turn off motion control but if you ignore moving the game pad, the Arwing firing reticle will simply move with the nose of the ship as you fly, just like in 64.

So I did a quick run to the local game store today to do some trade ins and man was I glad I did. Some dude sold a huge chunk of his 64 collection. Unfortunately, I owned many of the games already but I was able to pick up a few I didn't have. I was debating on getting Kirby The Crystal Shards but ultimately decided not to. Not sure if its a game I could get into. Anways, heres what I picked up. -Need for Speed Shift -NASCAR 99 (this game sucks but I used to own it as a kid so I bought it just for nostalgia) -Tonic Trouble -Tony Hawks Pro Skater -Top Gear Hyper Bike -NFL Blitz 2000

So I got a good 2 hours with the SFZ and I have to say, I am pretty impressed. I actually think this is a great game. The motion controls can be finicky at times so you will find yourself hitting Y frequently to reset the reticle. Other than that, the same cheesy dialogue is back, with great music and pretty darn good graphics (compared to the 64). For the first time since 64, it actually feels like a Starfox game, which I love. This is quickly becoming my favorite title on the system. My one complaint... Co-op is terrible. Instead of two ships, the person aiming can never find the enemies, and the person flying gets bored within minutes from not doing anything. Co-op is a big disappointment. What makes it worse is no local multiplayer. Other than that, if there is anyone on the fence out there about this game, just get it. The motion control is not that bad and you get used to it quickly, then its nothing but pure fun and nostalgia from then on.

Nice display there! You're gonna love it once you get a chance to play it. I know everyone was complaining about it dipping below 60 fps but honestly I didn't really notice it. The game is absolutely beautiful to look at. Lots of vibrant colors. I see you have the Fox Amiibo. Are you gonna get Falco too? I think they both unlock different Arwings |

Got myself a brand new game today but, before that, here's some used games I picked up yesterday.![]() Picked up the two SOCOM games simply because I owned the first one. Funny enough, I've barely even touched the three SOCOM games I own, but I remember playing Fire Team Bravo 2 on my brother's PSP and liking what I played. As for Red Ninja, the game has it's fair share of defenders and critics, but all I had to hear was "it sort of plays like Tenchu" and that was enough for me to snag it up. Like the SOCOM games, I haven't had the chance to try it out yet. And now, today's pick-up. ![]() ![]() ![]() Yep! A gaming fox just couldn't resist the temptation of a brand new Star Fox game (that isn't an enhanced port). I actually reserved my copy pretty early which is probably why I was given that Star Fox emblem patch that I wasn't expecting in the slightest. Not that I can use it (especially since it's nearing Summer), but it's a sweet little bonus anyway. I've heard the horror stories about the controls, but some posts here (and on another site I frequent) has helped ease my worries a bit. I won't have much time to play the game tonight, but I'm going to try to enjoy this Star Fox reboot with what little time I do have. Wish me luck! Prices: Spoiler: click to toggle
