Do you tofu?

Just my opinion, but I think its no where near as bad as others said it would be (and I was extremely skeptical when I inserted the disk... after all, I also own Adventures and Assault )The game isn't perfect by any means (no multiplayer? Really? Not even online?) But this is the closest its gonna get to SF64 without putting in the cartridge I think the reviews are a little harsh. Just sayin... Oh and that patch is awesome. Unfortunately I preordered on Amazon so I didnt get any exclusive stuff... just a 20% preorder discount

SNES pickups below. Got all the games on the SNES I want now. 12 in total. All the good games I used to play back in the day. Edit: this was a bit naughty went on a binge and bought this lot even though I'm moving into my first home next week hopefully if the exchange all goes through to plan which will be cleaning me out a bit!

So I had a booth at a convention last sunday. Shared it with my girlfriend and a good buddy of mine. Sold way more than expected. Sold a lot of Pokemon, Mario games etc, Mega Man X3, some guide books, some NES and SNES consoles and a lot of cheap (2) games. At the end of the convention I bought the remains of my buddy his stuff. He also had a Pokemon Gold, but since I was selling that as well I couldn't claim it beforehand. On the other Pokemon and Zelda games I did (ex Twilight Princess and Pokemon Pinball). Paid him 45 for the lot. Keeping the Zelda games for sure. Checking condition on the rest. Also included were a GBA, GBC and a Skylanders Swap Force for Wii. ![]() I also traded some stuff with a friend of me that was visiting the convention. He picked up Some cheaper RPG games (the last remnant, FF X and X-2) and some other games. I got this from him. No cash involved. The gameboy games will be resold. The rest I'm going to give a try. ![]() Told both of them I was going to resell a part of it. They were fine with me making some money on it. Then this is bulk of stuff I bought at other stands. A lot of little stuff. A complete list will be posted below. Very happy with the Pokemon GBC. And my newest addition I am very proud off (last photo) ![]() ![]() ![]() What I paid: Spoiler: click to toggle

More games: So bummed to discover the Lara Croft game is a download code only. I admit that I will enjoy having the case on the shelf instead of just a digital game but I might not have bought it had I known, even at its cheap price (about $7)

Got some more gaming stuff including an SNES classic that just arrived in the mail today. Since one of these pics is super long, they're going in the spoiler tab. Spoiler: click to toggle Has anyone seen this PS1 multi-stick before? I know what it does, but not even the people who made it have the product listed on their website (unless I didn't look good enough). All I can find is an ad selling it on Craigslist from Kentucky. Odd. Didn't really need a guide for The Sims 3 since I play that game my own way, but the guide itself looked pretty neat AND it still had the poster inside. Of course, it helped that I got it for 50% off. And then there's Donkey Kong Country 2. I didn't get to play this in the 90s (we had the Sega Genesis), but a family friend did let us borrow it (and a bunch of other SNES games along with the system itself) in the early 2000s. Outside of Super Mario World, this game got the most play time when the SNES was turned on. It took me this long to buy the game because I hoped I'd get lucky and find it at a thrift store or pawn shop for super cheap like I did with the first Donkey Kong Country, but I finally caved and just ordered a copy online. Prices: Spoiler: click to toggle

So a few days past since the convention (see a few posts back) and I got an email from a guy I bought a lot of stuff from. Some of the best hauls I ever did came from there. Now he was parting with his PS1, PS2 and N64. I picked up about half the PS1 stuff, the more valuable part, and left the rest (planning on picking up the N64 if the price goes down). A lot of RPGs included, including a lot (if not all) PS1 Final Final Fantasy games, Legend of Dragoon and Suikoden 2. Everything is CIB and (near) mint, except a cracked up RE3. Paid 200 for all of it (8 per game). Almost everything is up for trade for equal-value Gamecube, N64 or NES games I do not own yet. Note: I'm based in Europe, so overseas shipping might be expensive. And, I prefer PAL games over NTSC. Full list of games in the spoiler Spoiler: click to toggle ![]() Then yesterday happened. King's day. Some sort of national holiday where we celebrate the king's biirthday. I went oldskool game hunting on the many fleamarkets, facing cold winds, rain and even hail. But it paid off! List of the games and prices down below again. We did an actual coin-toss to make a price on the N64 bundle. I won ![]() And I gave the 2DS to Ms. Kamikaze, so she can enjoy the newer Zelda and Mario games on a handheld as well. ![]() Spoiler: click to toggle

Got a great score yesterday. Ridge Racer 6 and NASCAR 2000. But the next game is what I'm really proud of finding.... ![]() Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis!!!! This is a tough one to find -- one of the rarest games on the PS2 from what I've heard. And can be pretty pricey but I got a heck of a deal on it. Its actually really fun. Its like SimCity but with dinosaurs.

@Tofu: Nice score with JP Operation Genesis! I picked that up a few years ago for a pretty decent price but didn't realize it was without the manual until it arrived. At least I have everything else. Also, here's today's arrivals: These are a testament to how much I want to support physical media as we enter into a more dominant digital era. Both are DLC for full release games that just happened to get physical releases, although I had to import First Light because the NTSC version is digital only. I'm cool with that, though, since the PS4 is not region locked.

Ugh, I just discovered that the New Blood game was open and there was no game disc inside. I bought it brand new from Amazon so now I'm having to go through the rigmarole of sending it back to be replaced. I'm only upset because they require I have a printer, which I do not, so I might have to have a friend do that part. First time I've had an issue with an Amazon order that I remember. |
