I didn't notice any good games in there, so I traded them in for the original Fire Emblem. Enjoying it so far... P.S. Harvest Moon DS was one of the games I traded in, will it come back to haunt me?

Unfortunately, Freedom Fighters won't read on my Xbox. I don't know if it's because of the disc or if the system is just being picky again, but I just couldn't get the game to work. You've probably noticed that Grabbed by the Ghoulies' case is in Spanish and, truth be told, that's literally the only reason why I picked it up. I already own Rare Replay and was ready to pass on this stand alone copy when I noticed something "off" about the cover. Non-English cases (and manuals) aren't very common around these here parts and I guess that was enough for me to pick it up. And now, PS2 and Wii games from Friday. I avoided the Sega Classics Collection for so long because I thought it was a collection of Genesis games and buying it would make me not seek out the actual cartridges as much. Well it turns out it's actually ten or so remakes of their arcade games. Whoops. Probably should have named it something else. Finally, the NES games I picked up yesterday. I believe this is the first time I've bought NES games from a thrift store. They're just not that common around here. I thought Rad Racer would be my favorite out of the bunch, but Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego? blows the other four games out of the water. I got so little done today on Pokemon HeartGold (the game I'm supposed to be completing) because what free time I had was being spent chasing those crooks over at V.I.L.E. . Might be a contender for the top 5 in my meager NES collection. As for the Wii remote, I got tired of my old one having trouble with recognizing my nunchuk attachment. This one had corroding batteries inside of it, but I cleaned it out so now it's good as new. So with these I now have 4 (a complete set for multiplayer). It takes me awhile to collect accessories because I only buy 1st party and in great condition. Also picked up moto racer world tour but this title gave me some grief. I originally bought it last week, took it home, opened it up, and discovered the dude at the game store put moto racer 1 in the case. So I had to drive back this week and have him swap it out with the correct disc. I was peeved but at least he had the correct disc so now I'm happy I have the whole moto racer ps1 trilogy Moral of the story: ALWAYS check the disc before walking out. I don't think I could have swooped these off of the shelf any faster if my life depended on it. And all of the shopping carts were taken, so I had to check the rest of the store out while cradling these games in my arms like a child. If I had to choose the catch of the day, it has to be a tie between Super Mario Bros. 2 and Contra simply because these were some of the first games I've played... ever. In fact, those two games just completed my childhood NES collection... which was only 5 games big, but still. The only downer to this story is that this Goodwill knew what they had (to an extent) and marked most of these games at a higher price than usual, so I didn't get as good of a deal as I had hoped, but I'll gladly pay what I paid for any of these games. Contra is STILL amazing to play, and that Batman game is really great...hard but great. I hope you beat it ... I got to the final clock tower, but could not beat the Joker. (No saves after the game gets turned off). @Tofu: Excellent, you found Roadsters! And that there is a purty copy!

I have been wanting Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense now for several years but I literally have never seen a physical copy locally. I lucked out and this just happened to be super clean. F Zero GX I actually owned about a month ago but had to get rid of it when I went to play it and the disc wouldn't read. I think someone buffed it wrong and ruined the disc But this copy also is CIB, which my previous wasn't. So alls well that ends well.

Going to play it on my Xbox One due to its backwards compatability. Also grabbed a copy of Forza 5 also on Xbox One. Slowly catching up with Forza. Finished off Forza Horizon 2 so this is next before grabbing Forza 6.

I've heard that the game was good, but I didn't expect it to be THIS good. That's Sunsoft for you. @TofuJunky87 - Well these may not be a stack of NES gems, but I'll gladly take additions to my N64 and GameCube collection. Hm... not sure why Mario Golf came out so shiny. Probably should have just taken the pic over again. Anyway, both games seem like good games save for Toy Story 2's camers controls (even for 1999). I picked up Toadstool Tour partially because of nostalgia, but I also like that it has crazy Mario themed obstacles in some of the courses. Here's hoping both games stay fun the whole way through. The Super Mario should have been Mario Kart 64, so we're still working on a solution for this one. All I needed was the G&W box and manual and the two NES games. The rest will be resold to make my money back. And then the fleamarket haul of today. Everything is minty and complete, except for Animal Crossing missing the manual. Paid �3 a piece for the Wii games and �1 each for the rest. All I really needed was the Zelda preview disk from a magazine and Harvest Moon, but resellers I always pick up to fund the more expensive games.

The speed and intensity is even more amped up and the gameplay is exquisite. In a nutshell, this is a must own title for GC owners. It can be a little pricey compared to other titles but with the story mode and even ship customization on top of all the normal racing modes, you get your moneys worth. Added bonus that multiplayer freakin rocks with 4 people... great for parties!!! Buy this game!! Edited by TofuJunky87, Jun 14 2016, 05:17 AM.
